I’ve had two jobs done by Interior Motives.
They were the subcontractor for the tile work on our kitchen remodel last year (floor & back splash). This also included advise from their interior decorator Debbie. I was absolutely thrilled with the job they did. Their tile guy at the time was fantastic.
This years I had them do the floors for our upstairs bath & downstairs bath & utility room. The upstairs bath was vinyl over older vinyl and it came out perfect. No complaints at all.
The downstairs bath & utility room was marmoleum (a linoleum type product which is much stiffer and more sturdy) over the top of old vinyl on a concrete floor. This didn’t work as well since the drying glue on the new layer pulled the old flooring loose which caused buckling. They did come back and strip the entire floor down to concrete and put in new flooring at no additional cost.
If you are having the same thing done on concrete then have them strip the old floor out.
The other issue I had is they could do a better job of calling you back when you contact them. I’ve talked with them about it and hopefully they will get better in the future.
