Microtel Inns & Suites Auburn

It started out badly when I walked in and the front desk guy acted like I was absolutely tearing him away from his football game. Surprisingly, when I got to the room, it was decent. It is very small. It reminds you of a cruise ship cabin. It was great for one person, though. The bathroom was not as clean as I prefer and that is really my only major issue with the place. Also, they had people painting in the hallways at 6:30 in the morning. That was not fun.

I wish I could put fewer than 1 star. The manager Alvin, was so rude on the phone to me. I nicely asked to speak to a manager with an issue that I was having and apparently he’d already been filled in on my request because he immediately picked up the phone and started snapping off the things that I had been told. I had been told I could change my reservation, but if I did my original rate would have double, ultimately defeating the purpose. Instead I canceled my entire reservation and was really glad I did after seeing their facilities! Ick!

Mr P, who identified himself as the owner of the Microtel Inn and Suites, Montgomery, AL establishment, threatened to «hunt me down and hurt me». if I wrote a negative review about the way he handled our reservation! Well, happy Hunting Mr P! this guy is about the rudest person I have ever spoke to, and of course, he will threaten you if you complain. I have written to the Wyndham Hotel Group corporate office, regarding there franchisee threatening to hurt people — I hope to hear back from them soon.
After reading the previous review about the condition of this place, Mr P, may have done me a favor, by threatening me, which discouraging me from staying here!
Bad Service, Threats and Dirty Rooms — Not a good place…

If Unilocal had a selection for no stars i would def give this hotel that. Im use to staying in nice hotels but this was a stop and go type of thing… i booked the hotel only because i would be in town literally for a couple of hours and prob sleep for a hour or 2. .. 1^st of all the hotel appearance was nice and clean but the inside of the room was NASTY… I mean the room looked like some prostitute/​hourly type of room with mirrors all over, dark carpet to hide the sex stains and blood lol the bathroom was nasty, towels dingy. I went to walmart across the street to buy towels to use because it was that serious. I checked out and told the front desk and literally he was RUDE and did not care. So PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS HOTEL IT WAS NASTY and they had a nerve to have free breakfast EWWWWWWW I wouldnt touch a spoon or eat a packaged muffin from here gross… STAY AWAY TRUST ME!!!
