Park N Shop

While I agree that the prices are way to high, if you shop correctly it’s not bad. They have daily specials that are the same each week. I usually stop in on Wed for the hamburg and eggs. The hamburg is cheap and very fresh and they have 3 different kinds (fat content 80,85, 90). Check their flyer and only buy what’s on sale. The location is convenient in Auburn.

We shop here often, although the prices aren’t as competitive as walmart, the staff is very nice/​helpful and the place is clean.

The Park N Slop actually impressed me. They had exactly what I needed and their own bakery items are decent. They are more expensive (at least on the items I needed) but that’s what happens when you don’t have the buying power of a major chain. At least when you spend money here you know it’s going to a local company who is going to be a more significant part of the community compared to a regional or national corporate machine.
One thing though… the carpeted floors add a nice vibe however they are creepy if you think of dairy case spills or meat juice…

Best grocery store bakery blueberry muffins PERIOD! Better than Market Basket, Hannaford, Big Y, Shaws, Whole Foods, Stop & Shop, Price Chopper and Roche Bros!

I dashed into PnS for some broccoli for dinner after getting my nails done & was immediately reminded of why I don’t shop there. Eww. The broccoli was over priced at $ 1.99 for the wilted wee crown that I ultimately paid $ 2.23. (Side note — I weighed it when I got home and it came in at .91 ozs… hmmm:P)
I won’t be back — ever.

Well, I agree with everything Laurie S. stated in her review. The Park n’ shop is just a small grocery store in the same plaza as a TJ Maxx and some other shops.
I haven’t been here in about four or five years, and the only reason I went here is because my cousin wanted a certain kind of beverage which I suppose they had. Anyway, there is a Wal-​Mart and a BJ’s not too far away. why not just venture over there?

This place puts the «gross» in grocery store. Not only are the prices extremely and unreasonably high, but the place is carpeted. EEW! It’s so disgusting to think about the meat department carpet just crawling with the souls of weeping animals of the ages. The only reason I ever set foot in the place is that I can make it from my door to Park N Shop and back in less than 10 minutes. They’ll give me rolls for quarters for the laundry machine in my building in exchange for my crisp $ 10 bills, and that’s all I ask of them.
