No. Just no. Please, don’t go here. Maybe for the early burger stuff, but get out as soon as possible.

Quixote’s may very well be the best sports bar in Auburn. They have killer specials every night, and the food is generally very good. I say generally, because it is sometimes a little bit inconsistent. For example, I come here a lot for their chicken wings. Usually when I order there wings, I get big, meaty wings with the right amount of sauce on them. Good wings. Every once in a while though, the wings look like the came off of a newborn chicken and they have literally no meat on them. It’s a little strange, and I leave disappointed. This has only happened ~ 5% of the time, but still, it has happened. Their drinks are very good, and they pour them pretty stout. Sometimes they have liquor buckets which are $ 5. These buckets are potent. These things get you absolutely wasted. Usually the bar is a standard college bar, but again, sometimes it gets weird. I have been before and there has been a techno band with a bunch of people raving on like a random Tuesday. Or sometimes there will be a rap group and a bunch of people getting sweaty on the dance floor – a bit odd for a sports bar. But like I said, it usually is a great spot to go, and encompassed what you would think an SEC sports bar to be.

Good place to people watch and drink. Nothing top shelf here is a step down. The bathrooms are about as good as a infield nascar track from the 70’s. There are better options.

I hardly ever think much of bars or bar food, but this place is pretty impressive. Their Burger Night especially.

Quixotes has become a really respectable bar in the past few months. I believe that their management may have changed. What used to be the freshman, then hipster, then gay bar of Auburn is now serving a crowd more like Skybar or 17 – 16. The food is pretty good compared to most bar food I’ve had; you can’t go wrong with the nachos. Drinks are comparable or cheaper than the other bars in Auburn and the service is always pretty good.

Pretty dang good. I was in Auburn for my birthday weekend and requested wings. I was immediately pointed in the direction of Quixote’s. This advice was incredibly accurate. The wings were unbreaded and perfectly covered in a spicy, yet flavorful sauce. The adjuring fries and fried green beans were nothing short of spectacular. The fried green beans came with a horseradish dipping sauce that was crazy good. The manager got wind of my birthday and brought by a nice surprise. Too Kind. For me, the music was waaaaayyy too top 40. with that said, I get it. It’s a college town. This is my new favorite place in Auburn.

Nice place. Sat at the outside patio in the front of the building. There was a bartender for the patio area which was nice. Drinks were priced good. They had a $ 5 cover. There was a live band playing but I’m not sure if this is a regular occurrence or because it was a game weekend I’d go back if I ever make it back to Auburn.

This is seriously the best bar in Auburn. I won’t go into all the details because you have to go there an check it out. But this place rarely charges cover, has huge 32 oz drinks that are $ 2 on happy hour and $ 4 normal price, big indoor area, big bar that links to the front porch seating on the sidewalk of College Street, large area in the back for a band or more seating outside, pool table with another small bar, indoor stage, plenty of TVs to show whatever is on, and their food is excellent! The prices are great and you can get a drink, place an order, go outside to hang out and they will deliver the food to you! A delicious sandwich and waffle fries that taste like Arby’s fries? What else could you want? Overall this bar is extremely well designed and laid out and allows for an adaptable environment so that every night is a little different than the last depending on if the game is on or they have a big band playing! I wanna go back right now!

I found management to be highly racist in their approach to customers of color. There are obvious disparities between the degree of service extended to differing customers. It is an unspoken concept that this is the case and that one simply just has to avoid contact with the staff? Crazy right? I guess that’s the south. This place is in dire need of a DHR Civil rights audit. As well as uploading on the concept of assault. I have seen them physically handle customers in some scary ways. I guess because most of them are students, they get away with it.

Best bar in Auburn. This bar is HUGE with ample space for you, all your friends, and a ton of strangers swaying and stumbling around drunk and happy. Great out door seating area, delicious bar food and friendly bartenders. Wednesday night is 32 oz. wells for $ 3… i was on a tab with a dozen other people and well… I still think it was okay? I crawled out of here, or maybe I was carried? Regardless, if I’m in Auburn again, you’ll find me here!

This is one of the best bars in Auburn. It’s conveniently located, has a great staff, and the drinks are better than anywhere else downtown(for the price, at least). Wednesday night is 32 oz. wells for $ 3. It’s hard to beat that. While that seems to have become the norm in Auburn for Wednesday night, I would definitely say that this bar has the best out of all of them. Strong, but not going to knock you out after two sips. The food here is surprisingly good. On Tuesdays they have«Taco Tuesdays,» which is $ 1 tacos. They aren’t the most loaded tacos in the world, but just a couple should do the trick. Other things that I have enjoyed here are the mozzarella sticks, the patty melt, and the BBQ nachos. Seriously, I have rarely seen BBQ nachos that good, and never seen any like that in a bar. I would highly recommend them. One thing to be aware of, the beer selection isn’t the best in the world. It’s better than most of the bars in Auburn(at least the ones downtown), but still not awesome. So, if you’re a craft beer nut, you’ll be able to find one, maybe two selections to choose from. Also, there are a few drinks that just can’t be done, such as a mojito. Again, to be fair, I don’t really know of any bar downtown that is equipped for that, but still… As mentioned before, the bar staff is awesome. They are very attentive and always try to make the experience a good one. Also, they are a pretty soccer friendly bar. They routinely play big games with the US national team on the big screen. If another game is on that you want to watch, just ask the bartender, and I’m sure they would be willing to switch one of the TV’s over to it(unless it’s college football season… then all bets are off). Overall, I would highly recommend this bar if you’re in Auburn and looking for a good place to chill and watch the game!

Oh, Quixote’s and so many fond memories. My first birthday in Alabama was celebrated here. Many other nights here were also spent with good drinks and a good time. Their house DJ always plays the same tracklist every week but that seems to be exactly what the people came here for, because every one here turns it up. Even if Quixotes doesn’t share a lovely landscape like Sky Bar has, this place is known for its legendary drink specials that make even men from as far as Fort Benning come running. Before Wednesday 9PM, 32 oz. wells are $ 3 but even if you miss it, the price only goes to $ 5. They charge cover for girls on some days and not others — never really got that figured out. Their bar food is hands down amazing. My orders always had either chicken cheese quesadilla and the Southwestern egg rolls which were so good, meaty, hot, and cheesy. I even came here once just to order dinner to take home because their food is just that great. The bar has a pool table, plenty of seats, and some arcade machines. This place gets crowded on game nights so come early. The service here is good too. The bartenders do respond to you when you wave at them so don’t worry about being ignored. I’m not sure about game days but usually eye contact is enough to get their attention.

Wow — a girl could rack up a lot of first reviews in this town. This bar rocks — the staff is efficient, attentive, polite. A friend and I went here for the Auburn vs West Virginia game. It was pretty much storming outside, but there was a nice sized crowd supporting the home team. Auburn lost — not that I noticed. The standard rule for getting hired here as a bartender? You must be a white male with a lot of booty.(Total Steel Magnolia moment — looks like two pigs fighting under a blanket — honey — I like bacon). Very nice selection of eye candy. I sat there fascinated. I asked a very nice college student why southern boys were so well endowed with booty — she laughed. The crowd was totally sweet and unlike the 1716 bar people seemed more willing to drift out of their established social groups. I spoke with no less than 6 very nice people. I thank them all for taking the time to chat with me. We touched on politics, hunting, southern men, southern culture, life in general and a few other things. I was FINALLY made to understand why mixed drinks in the south suck — the ABC has a regulation that no drink will contain more than 1 and ¼ ounces of alcohol. This bar had a sign posted. The bartender told me that every bar had that sign posted. Color me stunned. You are allowed to order the drink«Special» which means a double. I was like you’ve got to be kidding me. There was a small fight, the staff very promptly broke it up and gave people their walking papers. So fast in fact, I had to ask what was going on? In Cali — when people move that fast you might want to follow their lead. Bathrooms are nice, no toilet seat covers(common out here), but I did meet two very cute, nice Budweiser promo girls, they had worked at another bar, were off, but the both agreed that one of them would give me their blinky bud pin. It was very popular. Pool tables, flat screen TV’s around the bar, an outdoor patio, that also has bar pick-up access — brilliant. Drinks were reasonable. It came to 30 bucks for me and my friend. We both had a really good time. Nicely designed, nicely staffed, attracts a nice crowd, serves food from 4 — 9 I believe. All around well run and totally deserving of 5 stars.
