Although I only come here once a year to get my eyes checked I wouldn’t want to visit any other office. The staff works hard and Dr. Hanson is the best at what he does. He is genuine, professional, and gets you what you need. Also, I love the frames. They have every style you could ever want.

I love Dr. Hansen, he is really thorough in his exam and conservative in his treatment. I have been going here every year for the last 7 years. The selection of eyeware is fantastic. The people in the office go out of their way to get you what you need.

Im not sure while people are so ignorant and write things like this and not follow up. It’s 2011 and the service and accomodations at Sierra Optometry have been excellent. Definitely would not agree with the past writer.

This place went downhill after Dr. Brown sold the practice in 2007.
Prices were increased and service went down the toilet.
They now close from Noon to 1:30 pm. (WTF: can’t trust your employees enough to leave one person in the office for 90 minutes alone?)
Another horror story: Contact lens polishing used to cost $ 15 and it only took 1 – 2 days when Dr Lewis Brown was there.
Now, it costs $ 30 to have lenses polished (DOUBLE the price) and it takes over TEN DAYS to get your lenses back!
Costco opens in Auburn next year. I’ll be the first one in line when they open!
I’m going to have my wife assign a new provider for VSP — or cancel the plan– when her medical plans have open enrollment (in November 2008).
