A gem of a place! I really enjoyed staying here and so did my 4yr old Brittany Spaniel! This place has everything you need. The bed was comfortable and the place is very clean and quiet. It is on scenic country rout 20 and close to Niagara Falls. My dog and I enjoyed walking the well kept, large property. I was even able to see a deer in the evening and every bird you can think of. There isn’t a place to eat near by so you will have to drive and grab food and drinks or like we did we brought it with us. This is a great place for comfortable night sleep, play with your dog and enjoy sitting outside and take in nature! I can’t wait to come back to explore the area!

Ok, so I am giving the 5 star review not because it’s the most posh, picturesque, or state of the art of hotel facilities. I am giving this review because as someone who travels often, in this country and abroad, it was probably the cleanest hotel ever. Ok, so the bathroom and furniture were each a bit dated, but who cares?! The bed was very comfortable, the sheets were ironed and soft, there was a large TV with cable, a comfortable couch, and as the prior reviewer said, great water pressure in the spotless bathroom. The place was cleaned and immaculate each day I stayed and it truly was beyond well-kept. Ernest, the owner was a pleasure and the rates are a ridiculous great value. The kicker-when President Obama toured through the area-part of his secret service detail stayed in the rooms next door: how about that for an endorsement.

We were in need of last minute accommodation near Skaneateles, and were lucky enough to call Sleepy Hollow. The room was not huge, but very affordable, clean and comfortable. Good queen sized bed, great water pressure in the shower, television, small sofa and a really nice view out of the window. Absolutely everything you could ask for from a motel and only 4 miles from the lake.
Ernest the owner was very accommodating in helping us book a taxi, ironing equipment etc and we would stay there again without a second thought!
