Great Childcare, Most of the reviews below do not exemplify the job that they do to care of these children. Some of the reviews below come with over exaggerations and allegations that I did not experience while my 10 month was here. They accommodated to my work schedule, the infant teacher Rosa was amazing. I could not trust any other daycare with my child. For those below, who did not experience the great childcare that I had, please understand that it may have been your own fault. I reached out to the owner and expressed my concerns and she made sure that those changes were met. As a teacher I know personally that childcare is difficult, but Tender Years gets the job done. Do not hesitate to take your child here. They run on the same schedule as the Auburn School district making it easy to know when the daycare will be open. Morgan, (who wrote below) taking your personal relationship with your ex boyfriend is your fault, I highly doubt that he would say the same, maybe it is your fault for not communicating with your boyfriend and the daycare. Do not blame others take actions into your own hands. The daycare is not in a bad area, it was in the past years but the area has grown tremendously, there is now one of the best wine spots next door and they make sure that the area is well covered. There are Cameras all around the premises and no one is allowed to pick up a child that is not theirs. They have last over 15 years in Auburn, longer than anyother daycare in the whole city. How do they do this? They do it by working hard and making sure that your child is in great care. If you have concerns express them and they will be fixed, dont go online like a child and try and destroy them. To Morgan and others below go to the owner and say what you wrote, be an adult not a child, or you should be the one in the daycare.

At the beginning I thought even though they lacked communication skills with policies and procedures, I thought it might just be due to the tremendous turnover rate they have with teachers and staff. But after 6 months, I realized it’s just a horrible place. They tried to tell me that an «old» employee couldn’t watch my kids outside of that place, but couldn’t provide a policy that was signed by the old employee. (Bitter much that she left. It’s BS anyway i just laughed). The owner is never there and when she is, she is disrespectful, unprofessional and straight rude, which in turns teaches her staff to be the same way. She has gone through 3 – 4 directors since I have been there. Latest director just sit on her cell phone at the front desk looking busy and barely acknowledges you. There is a small amount of «nice» teachers left maybe, two. They talk about your personal information to others on the outside which was told to me (which is a huge HIPPA violation) They back stab each other and have an inside Employees that brings DRAMA.
For almost the entire 6 months my kids have been sick and I relate that to the poor environment there. I even asked for them to stop letting my kids outside with no jackets and I continued to see my kids outside playing with no jackets in winter. I also had my child have her first accident there, because a «male“teacher wouldn’t let her go to the bathroom (true image of this place). Multiple GREAT teachers left (smart) because of how this place is run. (Shady) DO NOT spend your money here for shitty care. There are other great places in the area that put your kids first instead of the money. I have contacted BBB and hope they get a wake up call.
Update: Since they were so upset about their names on here I removed them, but doesn’t changed Shady people. this company had the nerve to ask the old employee that of course still watches my kids to call me and ask me to delete this Unilocal. Their reply is a joke and complete false and it’s funny how they are trying to fix this. Clearly with the other comments from other moms feel the same. Stop wasting your time. It’s not being deleted.

This daycare is awful. My son attended for a year and a half. I stayed so long simply because he loved his teacher! He was constantly being bitten, and hurt by other children. He was even released to his father’s 18 year old girlfriend who was authorized over the phone be his dad!!! So illegal anyone could have called in and said oh I’m gonna have so and so pick up my child. My last fuse ran out when I went in one morning 15 minutes after drop off time (around 9:45) because I worked late that day and I had called 4 times prior to let them know with no answer when I got there they told me they had sent staff home and I could not leave my son there! I had to call out of work. I changed daycares that same day and have recently gotten a bill stating I owe them money. Called the owner several times before getting a call back she was extremely rude saying I needed to give 2 weeks notice and I can’t just leave because I am unsatisfied. Excuse me… last time I checked I was paying YOU to be dependable care for my son. She went on about how she’s «surprised I don’t want to pay my debt bc she was so good to my child» I was in shock at how she handled the situation. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!! not to mention the area is awful. My car was broken into and stolen right around the corner and they are closed way too many days out of the year. Day after Thanksgiving day after new years all days normal people work and require child care!

My children have been going to this daycare since February this year and my 1 year old daughter has been bitten 7 times all they keep saying is they are working on it but nothing has changed I picked my daughter up today and she has 4 bite marks on her leg with instant bruises she was also bitten twice last week this Is the worst daycare I have ever seen and I will never recommend this daycare to anyone.
