The Silver Store

Great store with a huge selection and friendly staff. We walked in during their anniversary sale, and the prices seemed very reasonable before the discount.
My friends and I were there to celebrate the holiday weekend, and this store really made our day. We each walked away with a new piece of jewelry. We will definitely return.

I love this store and the ladies that work in it, Mimi & Carrie. Such a great selection of contemporary fashion silver items as well as other great gift items. I can’t go in there and not find something I have to buy. You go in there to buy a gift for that special friend or family member and you leave with a lot more. A must stop in Old Auburn.

Every time I visit Auburn I go to The Silver Store located in Old Town. It’s definitely a place to go for earring, rings, necklaces, glasses (sun and reading), bags, belts and more. The owner is such a delight and worth the time to stop by to say hi and look at (and buy) some bling! The hours are 7 days a week form 10 a.m. — 5 p.m. (What dedication to her customers!!!)

Very friendly lady working there. The ladies I was with enjoyed browsing and one of them bought a ring at a good price. Always good to help the local businesses!

I love this store! Great selection of sterlng silver — rings, earrings, necklaces, pendants, bracelets, and toe rings. Stuff for men and women. Stuff for any fashion taste — simple to complex designs, and all of the stones/​gems in her pieces are gorgeous! There is also a variety of sparkly belts, hats, handbags, and luggage, room décor, and just overall neat things. I go mostly for the jewelry.
You’re always greeted with a smile as soon as you walk in — even if she is with a customer, Mimi, the owner, will take a second to just welcome you and tell you she’ll be right with you. She is incredible at handling multiple customers with multiple questions, or is happy to let you just browse if that’s all you want. I’ve never felt pressured here, or ignored.
I make a stop in here every time I ride up to Auburn — it became a tradition after my first. I’ve purchased several jewelry items here. Each time, Mimi will talk about whatever stone I’ve decided to be interested in that day. She knows a lot about the various gems and stones — from labradorite to moldavite, she is very educated about her merchandise. She is very selective about what she purchases for her store — it shows, because I always have a hard time making a decision! She helps me and other customers select something that fits on their hand, fits their personality, and fits within their budget. She always polishes the purchased item too, and puts it in an adorable little bag.
I recently bought a ring that I absolutely fell in love with for many reasons. Sadly, the stone fell out and was lost on the first day I wore it. I called Mimi right away and she could not have gone to further lengths to make sure that she resolved this for me and that I left just as happy as I was after the original purchase. We ended up exchanging the ring for a similar one she had in stock, and I am just as happy!

Neat little shop on historic Sacramento Street in old town Auburn, tucked in a little inlet of shops. There’s lots of silver jewelry, purses, belts, hats, jewelry boxes and displays, decorative pieces, and some gorgeous masks. Plus the lady who runs the shop is super friendly. Score!
