TK Nails & Spa

I went to TK Nails when they were still at the other salon. I hadn’t been to their new location since I had moved to San Jose for 2 years. I love their new location. I got a gel manicure from Cindy. It was only $ 30! I’ve been to other places that charged a lot more with disappointing results. I will definitely go back to Cindy.

I came in for a full set of french tips. I had an appointment and was taken promptly. I have gotten french tips many times at different nail salons.
It appeared clean, and I enjoyed that there was a tv I could watch while I waited. The women who work there speak English as a second language. Not a big deal, just information.
When I sat down, the chemical fumes from their products were overwhelming, and I asked for a mask because it was so bad.
I was given the choice between gel, acrylic and fiberglass tips, which is a first for me.
Two issues arose for me. I was cut, to the point I started bleeding, by a tool. It was an accident, and I know this happens occasionally, but it still hurt like hell and there was no apology. She was asking if I was alright, but that was it. I told her it really hurt.
My nail tech was quite rough with filing my new fake nails dieting shaping them, and it hurt a lot. So much that every single one of my fingernail pads are bruised. And I’m writing the review a day later.
So, this was my experience. I know other people experience different things.

After trying another nail salon in Auburn and wasn’t really satisfied I decided to give TK Nails a try. They are awesome!!! This is my new favorite salon for pedicures! They greeted me when I walked in the door, sat me in the chair on time for my 9:30 appointment, offered me a bottled water and made sure I was comfortable.
The inside is super new and nice, they have sterilizing equipment for all the instruments they use and it smelled really clean.
They had some music on and they have two large flat screens with the today show on.
I chose one of the spa pedicures and gel polish and it came out to $ 45, but in my opinion it was totally worth it for the massage, hot towels and PERFECT pedicure. I’ll be back!

Great place. Hard to find a good nail Salon in auburn but tk nails is great. Only disappointment were their prices. On the expensive end but it’s worth it for nails. Pedicures are good but I love gel on my toes and that’s an additional $ 20 which is very very expensive. So I opted for regular polish and after I left huge smudge. Big bummer.

This shop is great: super clean, professional, excellent service and the leg massages are amazing — I’m definitely going back!

At Tk you always feel welcome and appreciated. They do an excellent job and give longer foot massages than usual. They take walk ins all the time. I’ve never needed to make an appointment and their manicures last for a long time. A+

I visited TK at their new location after being a long time customer at their previous place. The new salon is beautiful and many more stations. They are very good at using clean equipment and making sure you are comfortable. Typically I go for a pedicure, most of the time the experience is excellent but sadly it really depends who your manicurist is. Some seem to just go through the motions talking to their peers and others are just wonderful. I still go back, really the best option in Auburn.
