De La Pop Gourmet Popcorn

I love this place! I’ve been coming here since they originally opened. The owner is really friendly! They have tons of popcorn flavors to choose from! My favorites are the de la mix (cheddar and caramel mix) and the blanco de la mix (white cheddar and caramel mix). They also have a lot of speciality sodas in the store. The only downside, the popcorn is a tad bit expensive.

Great little spot across from the regal movie theater for gourmet popcorn. It is a little pricey for popcorn, but the sheer amount of flavors that they offer here is amazon. I typically stick to the de la mix (chicago mix), but there is something here for everyone. They also have a some specialty drinks here that I have yet to try.
This is a small place, so there is no seating to sit and enjoy popcorn while there so I’ll usually grab before checking out a movie at regal or just grabbing a bag to take home. Service has always been good.

We are avid popcorn lovers and this place hits the spot! I’ll admit the pricing leaves something to be desired, but the quality, variety, and convenience all work to their advantage. We frequent de la pop often and plan to keep coming!

Great customer service, but I think the flavored popcorn is a bit soggy/​mushy and overpriced. I prefer my popcorn crispy (and cheap).

Popcorn in many flavors, what’s not to love. I really enjoy popcorn and De La Pop is a nice place to stop. My complaint is, it’s popcorn it’s almost cheaper than beans. Why do they charge so much for so little popcorn.
They offer a unique drink selection of various soft drinks. The guys out front and nice and friendly. I do not understand why it takes so long for your order to prepared.
I enjoed my first visit but the next time I want popcorn I can find a better bargain for my money.

I am a lover of popcorn, so after reading the previous reviews I had to give this place a go! The workers are patient allowing you to try several flavors, and explaining the menu. They also offer a large assortment of unique sodas.
Whatever you decide to get, you are getting it to go! No where to sit here!
I ended up with the white chocolate pretzel and ranch flavors. I got the small, and the total was around $ 8. Pricey, but a nice treat. Let’s just say that popcorn didn’t last 20 minutes.
I’d go back, try more flavors and even use this place for gifts! You can get several sizes in bags as well as large tins.
Downside to me is the location. While convenient, the parking lot of this shopping center can be a total mess.

In my household, we are popcorn fanatics!!! We eat popcorn every week whether they are store bought in a bag or the microwaveable kind. We LOVE popcorn, so I would equally love a place that sells all kinds and flavors!!! I had been meaning to check them out for a while now but the opportunity presented itself when a colleague told me to meet her here!!! I was in heaven here!!!
I couldn’t help myself I sampled a few but still couldn’t decided if I liked them or not, so I decided to buy a few and sample them that way to see if I really liked them. I chose a small bag of Loaded Potato, a small bag of Toffee, and a small bag of Salt and Vinegar. All were safe choices and I figured I couldn’t go wrong with any one of them, and I was right!!! The popcorn was so delicious the Loaded Potato being my favorite out of the 3. The savory flavor was on point!!! The Toffee mix was very close behind in second place. I love anything Toffee flavor so I fell in love instantly…
The small bags were fairly inexpensive at almost $ 3.00 a bag. I can’t wait to go back and try more flavors. I devoured those small bags so quick. I will have to go for larger bags next time! I couldn’t help myself when it came to snacking on them!!! I call myself a professional snacker, so it was an easy job to finish those bags off!!!
The staff was very friendly showing customers how to sample flavors and ringing everyone up. They also offer email discounts so don’t forget to give them a valid email when you are purchasing anything.
The only reason I give them 4 stars and not 5 is because the store is so small and it can get crowded and rowdy quickly. If there was a sitting area aside from the counter or a tasting area away from the counter this place would get 5 stars easily.
This would be a great place for a family to come for a family outing only if there was a cute little sitting area, maybe they will eventually get that but until then I can enjoy their delicious popcorn at HOME!!!

Just stopped in today after eating lunch nearby. There was a small group ahead of us, so we figure the wait shouldn’t be to long, and decided to check it out.
The employee there greeted us with a smile, handed us a menu, and said she would be right with us. Within a few minutes, we had 3 selections and were ready to check out. (we didn’t even ask for samples) After about 15 minutes, we were still waiting, and decided to just leave. If we at least had the chance to TRY something, I might have scored higher, but that wasn’t the case.
We MAY think about coming back to try it, because I’m sure my kids will enjoy the experience, but I don’t see myself running back for more anytime soon.

Tasty, affordable, and unique! De La Pop is a new gourmet pop corn business that just opened up over the holiday season. The owner and staff and very nice, and helpful. They even will give out free samples if you kindly ask. They have a large variety of unique but all delicious pop corns, and sodas. I I courage you to check them out if you are in the area, grab a small bag for $ 2 when your on your way to the movies or looking for a awesome gift. :)

Popcorn is slowly becoming one of my favorite snacks. I visited this new gourmet popcorn store with my sister and was really excited to try it. This is the second gourmet popcorn shop in the Augusta area. You get to try 4 samples upon entering, but it’s just one piece of popcorn, which is a bit weird. However, I just one is enough to let you know if you’ll choose a whole bag or not. I chose the Puppy Chow. It was was very good. I got a small bag, which was a decent size. It was enough to share with someone else. The staff was very nice. They store is bright and welcoming with the logo very visible. They didn’t seem to have an area where you could sit in and enjoy your popcorn of check an email or browse the internet. It seems to be more of a to-​go location. Compared to the other shop in the area, it could improve with a customer in-​store presence or seating. It’s located directly across from the movie theater. That’s pretty ideal to attract a lot of movie goers. Parking can be tricky depending on the time of day. Overall, nice place.

This new popcorn shop offers a gourmet snack with a great selection of flavors! The popcorn is prepared fresh as you wait and there is plenty of great help to make suggestions and give you up to 4 samples. The store also features a wide variety of specially soft drinks.
