Lovely café attached to a good will with a wonderful variety of things to look at. Coffee is a great price and plenty of space to study.

This is a cool little place! Not a lot of people are aware of this cubby hole, but I enjoy a good mocha every time I visit. The staff takes their time to ensure that they make your order just the way you like it. Try the paninis; they are delicious. Follow that up with a tasty dessert; muffin or a slice of cheesecake. You can do all of that while reading a book that you just purchased from the bookstore located inside of the café. Don’t worry, the book is almost new for less than $ 5.

I just had the best latte here. The service is great. You have an opportunity to browse the book and clothing store also housed in the building. Plus, the money stays in the community and helps many of our neighbors hone their skills and find employment. Hire Grounds lives up to its slogan if good food and good karma.

This place is inside the goodwill and has some wifi. I looked dead walking in and she was like«you need some coffee hon»… um, yeah… boy do I ever! She was bright, cheery, friendly and made a great latte! Cost was lower than that«fancy» place and it tasted a whole lot better! It’s a cool concept having the two together… there even an attached book store on the other side.

The next time I want a frapp, I’m coming here! Shantelle made me a crazy thick caramel frozen concoction as per her suggestion and I swear I was buzzing like a little hummingbird. I drink about 3 cups of coffee a day so I thought I could handle it, but wow did her coffee give me a kick in the pants. I noticed how very careful she was with grinding the beans and tamping them down like a vice. It does take a little time to get the whole process finished but oh wow was it ever worth it. I can’t speak for the rest of the drinks there because this was what Shantelle suggested and this is what I will stick with from now on. If they offered blending a banana or Nutella into it now and again, I’d be a weekly customer for sure.

No complaints about this coffee shop. The staff was very friendly, even gave us samples of coffee we didn’t order. The coffee smoothie I ordered was great and the chairs comfy. I will definitely come again!

Every time I visit I am thoroughly impressed by the staff at HireGrounds. This time Shantelle made me a Medium White Chocolate Latte, delicious as I expected. Grab a bite too, all the baked goods are made at the Helms Culinary College next door! I really enjoy lounging around HireGrounds. I sit around playing on my phone, my kids read books and comic books. A nice place to relax or get some work done on your laptop using their wifi.

HireGrounds is a café/coffee space attached/part of Goodwill. It’s got seating and plenty of space. Service is great. However, I wouldn’t suggest getting coffee here unless you like tasteless, watery coffee. That’s exactly how my iced coffee tasted. The atmosphere here is also not your cute, cozy little coffee shop. If you’re a bit of a coffee snob, I’d suggest you try out some of the other local coffee joints or visit your local Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts.

HireGrounds is a solid place to grab a reasonably priced cup of coffee if you’re in the area — much better than swinging by a Starbucks or McDonalds if you get the coffee craving. They don’t have the widest selection of drinks available, but you can get the basics, as well as some decent cookies and snacks. There are other places you can drop by if you want more of the coffee shop vibe and a wider selection of food and drink, but this is a solid Sunday fallback for my family now — when they seem to be just about the only coffee shop actually open in this town.

I’ve grown to love coffee as I get older. So, I’m often looking for places to grab a great cup of coffee. HireGrounds is located in a plaza that I used to frequent often and just the other day I noticed the bright sign from Washington Road and pulled over. HireGrounds is a part of the Goodwill of the CSRA Job Connection, which explains the name. The Job Connection Center is next door. Also located in this plaza is the Helms College, which is also a part of the Goodwill Industries. Hire Grounds is connected to the actual Goodwill Store. The section where they house books is what connects you to the Hire Grounds Café. All the food here comes from the Helms Culinary College next door! Yuuuummmm! They offer breakfast and lunch items like scones, bagels, BLT, clubs, paninis, salad, soup and of course coffee. I had the Veggie Quiche. It was delicious. I also had a side salad and Mocha Latte. I enjoyed everything. They also had lots of pastries. I’m on a brief hiatus from baked goods, so I have nothing to report. The place is very clean and quiet. It has booth and table seating. The booths have electrical outlets to plug up your computer. The staff was really nice. They will bring your coffee or order out to you. Hire Grounds also has a rewards program, which is good for frequent visits. Check it out!
