Ideal Farm Garden Center

We actually found this place by accident a few years ago. Fortunately for us, it worked out. We’ve been coming here for our pumpkins ever since. The tractor ride is $ 1.00 per person. It takes you out out to a pumpkin ‘patch’ with a LOT of pumpkins to choose from. The kids love it.
Don’t forget to have a fresh, homemade cinnamon sugar dusted donut. DELICIOUS and addicting to say the least. I dare anyone to have just one. Buy a homemade pie (wide variety) too.
Pumpkins are reasonably priced per pound. Check out the garden center with its range of stuff … talking gourds to Adirondack chairs to gazebos. They have local honey also.
Well worth the drive. Fun for the whole family. I highly recommend this place. You won’t be disappointed.

This is a tough one to describe. As you can imagine this is a garden center. They have all kinds of garden plants, pottery and other garden stuff. Nice selection I guess if you are into that. The reason that I go here every autumn is the holiday attractions. There are all kinds of cool things to do like pumpkin picking and a haunted barn. In order to pick your pumpkin you need to take a ‘hay ride’ to the top of a hill in the back of the farm. When you arrive you look down on a field of pumpkins below you giving you an amazing opportunity to take pictures. The pumpkins are scattered around in the field for you to walk and pick the one you like the best. Once you do you walk back over to take the hayride back to the main buildings. There are also swing sets and a hay maze for the kids to play. Before you leave make sure you stop inside the building to take a look at the great baked goods. They have the best donuts I have found at any other farm.
