Love this place. Great atmosphere. Amazing staff. Drinks are reasonably priced. A little smokey. If you like darts, come on by!!! Tons of people to play with. If you can check out the females bathroom, check out the mirror!!! Best shot: Washington apple with crown green apple.

Just left the«Martini Bar». Way better atmosphere. No pretense here, you get what you see. Darts, drinks and the Spurs game!

It’s a classic dive bar with(electronic) darts, good rock music, and a local customer base. The smoke is a bit hard to handle, hence the four stars. I caught it on a slow night, despite Monday Night Football, but still had a good time.

Not the place to be at 7:30pm. But I’m sure it gets better. Really close to my hotel, that’s why I am here. Cool bar tho

Definitely a neighborhood dive, hidden behind the Starbucks and La Quinta hotel. I actually forgot they still let people smoke in bars in GA(hadn’t been here in 4 years). If you don’t smoke and can tolerate walking out smelling like an ash tray they offer good drink specials, cheap beer(decent bottle selection), and have a few TVs if you are trying to catch a game.

Let’s start my review of the Hideout by saying I was in Augusta for work and staying at La Quinta(Spanish for«this is not the Ritz Carlton and the only reason you would ever stay here is if you are a crazy dog lady and brought your French Bulldog with you on a business trip»). When I checked into my room at Motel 6, err I mean La Quinta, I immediately noticed a bar outside my motel room and was major league sketched. I met my Augusta friends for dinner and they laughed about my poor choice of motel, but one of them quickly chimed in that the Hideout was a fun dive bar and one of his friends worked there. Obviously the only logical thing to do was to continue the post-dinner festivities at the Hideout. Good news folks, the Hideout is awesome! It’s definitely a dive bar, but it’s way better than I thought it was going to be. It’s smokey as all get out and the walls are decorated with the likes of Harry & Lloyd, Bill Murray, and Elvis. They also have Keno and darts. We lost at Keno and I got hit on by a totally creepy dude whilst playing darts. Vodka tonics were strong, I left smelling like smoke, and the best part is I only had to walk 10 steps across the parking lot to my room, literally. The Hideout isn’t the fanciest bar, but it’s a good time even for an out of towner on a Tuesday. If I ever wind up at La Quinta again, I will most definitely be back to this watering hole. Cheers!

Awesome little spot to relax and have a drink. Everybody from locals to people coming through the city. Convenient to I-20 and Washington Rd. The bartenders are on top of it. Just the perfect bar to go to when looking for a low key night.
