Really do not know what to say about this place. Walked in and literally walked out. I don’t know what was worse, the blaring gangsta rap or the fear that a gun fight might beak out at any minute by rival gangs.

I like it! The Playground Bar is a cool place. It has a good drink selection and good music. I usually visit on a weekday. The décor is basic hipster vibe, but the folks are friendly. There isn’t usually a cover, but that could change. Lots of space for dancing. Places to sit outside and inside. Great place to go with a group. Located on the popular end of Broad Street, so they don’t mind you bar hopping. Parking is located everywhere because of the downtown location.
