I’m not really a fan of their french fries, but their fried chicken and seafood is really REALLY good. I don’t like to eat too much fried food but if I had a craving for it, I’d come here. Fast service, huge dining room that’s usually fairly clean, or you can get your food to go(but good luck making it home before eating it all). I don’t like that they use styrofoam bowls for their seafood stew because even though it’s really good, I can’t STAND eating out of styrofoam… so I never order it.

Ever since I booked and planned my itinerary for a few cities in the east coast, the Red Barn was the place I was most excited to try — It did NOT disappoint! ¼ pound Lobster Roll($ 10.95): Thick pieces of lobster meat and shredded lettuce between nicely toasted bread. Fresh, delicious, dreamy, worth coming to Maine for. Cup of Seafood Stew($ 5.95): I can’t believe I’m going to say this, but there was too much seafood for me in the seafood stew! Finished a majority of the soup but only half the seafood… Small Strawberry Milkshake($ 2.05): Cheap and delicious milkshake? Ooookay what’s the catch? There is none! There is a huge map located in the back dining room. Ask for a pin to pin where you’re visiting from!
