Such a fun and friendly Irish pub! Cute bartenders in sexy skirts, great crowd, delicious food and low drink prices!

For a place down the street from the James Brown Arena, they sure do close the kitchen early. Would’ve liked to have seen a late night menu, even if just the fried stuff. But overall the other reviews are dead on: waitress wears the skimpy skirt, beer selection is so-so, atmosphere is meh. The best part about the place is the locals. But that is about the best thing about Augusta in general, the people that live there not the businesses that fleece the transient population next to a military post.

I can’t comment on the food because I’ve never had it, but I can comment on the atmosphere. Survival of a bar flung this far from the main cluster of businesses in downtown Augusta is impressive. Inside is a smoky, cozy pub with a decent collection of 10 – 12 beers on tap. The crowd seems to be regulars and friends of the staff. Bartender essentially wears underwear as a uniform. It’s nothing special but they get extra points for the name; seems like a great place for the regular crowd to hang out.

I love Irish Pubs…(but not this one). First — lousy name(«Tipsey McStumbles??»… Owned by a 15-yr old boy named«McLovin’??»). Second — The use of half-naked girls for their ads… Gross!

Nice local bar that seems to have taken the concept of the Tilted Kilt and brought it to a local level. Attractive women in micro plaid skirts work the bar. The service is fair at best but the beer is nice and cold. The only negative thing I saw was a pregnant woman drinking wine and smoking cigarettes.

Good bar and friendly bartender, Brittany(sp?). $ 6 vodka sodas and quite a few regulars come in. Did not try the food, but it looked good. Needs to be more dimly light. Not a true dive bar, but a good neighborhood bar.

Very smokey, however, for what it is, a bar, it serves it’s perfect. Every one was very nice and pleasant.

It’s a dive bar so don’t have high expectations. I heard that the burgers were good. Mister and I decided to try the food since we were hanging downtown that evening. We had the patty melts and fries and the jalapeño cheddar bites as an appetizer. Everything was really good. Service was decent. Atmosphere was typical. My cousin loves this place for the beer and the short skirts if you’re interested.

This place does not even deserve one star! The WORST experience I have ever had here in Augusta and my experience was with the manager/owner! Everyone I encounter will know how awful this place is.

Best dive bar in Augusta… small menu, but food surprisingly good… plus the bonus of short skirts… all in all, you can’t go wrong!

I don’t have much expectations walking into a place like this, I mean c’mon Tipsey McStumbles?, but this place is a total disaster. First off the second you walk in your bombarded by the stale(and fresh) stench of cigarettes, which is illegal by the way, completely unappetizing. Secondly, the place is a trashy version of Hooters(is that even possible) with the girls being subjected to wearing objectifying short skirts that don’t even completely cover everything. The only thing they have going for them is the beer prices, incredibly cheap. It’s a one beer and get the heck out of there kind of place. But hey, if you like cigarettes, cheap beer, and trashy girls than this is your kind of place!

Not sure why they advertise themselves as open until 2:30 on weekdays if they barely stay open until midnight. Nothing is worse than working a long hard day only to drive thirty minutes to one of the few places«open late» just to be turned away more than three hours before their posted closing time because they were slow that night. I guess if you’re a local and you know the schedule that this establishment actually operates on then it might be worth checking out or even going to, but if you’re a traveler passing through just save yourself the drive and disappointment. I can’t recommend this place to anybody since I didn’t get to have anything.

Great atmosphere and bar. It’s definitely what you would expect. A moderate selection of beer on tap, a variety in bottles, a full stocked bar, and some decent good. I’ve had the meatball sub before and that was fantastic. The angus bacon cheeseburger was awesome too. The fries are your standard fries. Drop in for a beer or a bite if you find yourself in downtown Augusta!

I’m a reasonable guy, but this place is awful. Maybe it was just a bad night but I doubt it. Now, you don’t expect much walking into a place with a name like this but wow. You walk in and you’re hit in the face with the stench of cigarette smoke(which should be illegal by the way). The one redeeming quality you’d expect from a place like this(attractive girls) did not deliver, very trashy. Didn’t stay long enough to order food(judging by EVERYONE else in there who didn’t order food I’d say that was a good decision). At least the beer is cheap. This place is in need of a health inspection among many other things.

My girlfriend and I love restaurants like Tilted Kilt and Hooters so when we heard about this place we had to check it out. The place was very clean which was a plus and the girls working that night were easy on the eyes. We got there 10 minutes before happy hour ended and sat at the bar. We asked how much a 16oz Blue Moon was which our server checked for us and said it was $ 3.50. That put another smile on my face so we so we ordered 2. After we got our beers we asked for food menus and then our server never came back to check on us. We were hungry so we waited to see if our server would come back. After we finished our beer 20 min later we just asked for our check. Apparently they waited until 9pm on the dot to ring up our beers which it said on our receipt so the price of our drinks were $ 4.50 each. I asked what happened to it being $ 3.50 and she simply told us happy hour ended and they switched the prices over. We never got a chance to try the food but it looked like standard bar food. I would stick to Hooters.

Got there too late for dinner, so I was out of luck by 10 minutes. The waitress offered me chips which actually sounded pretty good, but the manager was an ass hole about it and decided that he couldnt get a bag of chips from the back because he didnt want to start up the oven… what? Anyway, there is only one reason that any person would ever darken the door of this cheeky establishment and it isnt the beer selection(meh at best) and apparently isnt the food either. The girl behind the bar had on a skirt that barely covered her assets and was fairly friendly. If thats a trend, I guess I could see why some folks would enjoy this place, but I came to eat and have a beer and the place got a good rating, so jokes on me I guess. Good luck.

After finding a dive bar with somber music and poor lighting, this place was a breath of fresh air! Well-lit, clean, friendly staff, and super cheap drinks for power hour on a Tuesday night! They had a touch-tunes jukebox so we could play any music we liked, and we had a great time. I highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this place, the bartenders are friendly and of course hot. A long happy hour 1700 — 2100 I think. Even after happy hour the drink prices aren’t bad. Will come here again for sure.

Clean, great atmosphere. A great selection of tap beers all reasonably priced during the 1600 – 2100 happy hours(evening). The space is the origional Augusta strip club — of course now retired from that industry, and yet… a sausage feast like no other. Probably because the bartenders have outfits that make hooters look like a family restraunt you would take your grandmother to. over all, this place will be a regular stop when I’m walking Broad Street.

My favorite bar in Augusta. Why? Just talk to Amanda and Ashley, two of the best and incredibly gorgeous bartenders I have ever had. Another great thing I love about this place is that its located away from all the riff raff of Broad Street. Its quiet and the crowd is really mature.
