Awesome diner in a great spot! Happy staff, fast service and great food. I can vouch for breakfast and lunch here for sure.

My wife, children and I came here for the first time last weekend for dinner. We had an amazing expirence the atmosphere, staff, food everything was great. I believe our servers name was Amanda, very pleasant, was fast to take our drink orders and brought our food out just how we asked(my wife and two kids are very picky so their orders were slightly more complicated). The rest of the staff were all very pleasant passing by. The food was amazing and very reasonable priced. You can bet we will be back and also will be recommending this diner to our friends. Keep up the good work guys!

Great diner! Food was very fresh and good pickles and coleslaw(I think you can judge a diner on those alone). It was the perfect old school diner with good service. Plus bathrooms are clean and not run down like many diners these days.

The food here was excellent. It seemed a little sketchy at first because the place and the menus are old and outdated.

Got the smoked pulled pork(limited time dish) and gyro. Didn’t taste the gyro or its accompanying salad, but the gf liked it. However, the smoked pulled pork sandwich was completely and oddly dry, including the coleslaw in it. Not sure if this is normal as I’ve never had pulled pork that was explicitly called«smoked», but it wasn’t very pleasant to eat. I ended up adding in the fresh coleslaw side and requesting barbecue sauce to drench the meat in. Also, the included stuffed jalapeño was mostly flavorless. On the upside, the waitress was very friendly and the food came out quickly.

Classic NJ diner food… good, but nothing special if you’re from north Jersey… the average wait staff when we went was 73 years old, so be patient… if it’s a weekday, go down the street to the Chatterbox instead, it’s a better atmosphere and more of a unique experience… don’t get the brownie from the counter… It tasted like a wood chip with frosting on it.

Oh my Yetter’s! This may just be the greatest establishment or building I’ve ever been in. The furnishing is absolutely beautiful and arouses so much emotion in me. The food, to die for. Service, forget about it! You can’t even blink before your waitress is back with a smile and a kind, warm face. It’s more than food, it’s a magical experience that leaves you feeling as though you’ve died and went to heaven and at delicious, decadent food and deserts. Oh dear Yetter’s, my home sweet home, I love you Yetter’s forever and always. Will you marry me? Aww shucks, joking you’re a diner!

Always visit this diner on our trips from ny to PA or PA back home. Never been disappointed in the last 25 yrs of going here. The breakfast always amazing especially the French toast and bacon always made to your preference. The lunch and dinners are equally as good as the breakfast. The portions are plentiful and prices very reasonable as well. So when in Augusta nj give yetter’s a try

The diner is as forgettable as the food and service. There are other places to stop along this stretch of road and I suggest that you do so. I used to stop here more often when I was passing through on my way to PA and eventually ceased going. I recently stopped in there after not going for a while and remembered why I stopped coming. The waitstaff are usually sitting around at the counter talking to friends and family instead of remembering to get an item we ordered and asked for 3 times. It’s understandable though after eating the food we did receive its not something that you tend to remember.

Go there and get soup. I had the chicken and rice and loved it. This is a nice diner. I like it better than Sparta and Jefferson. Tonight I liked the waffle fries that someone else mentioned here. Staff and customers are very country but that’s where it is. Haven’t eaten breakfast there but plan to.

We stop here on our way home from Manhattan for a drive break and to grab a bite to eat. The owners are a bit impersonal but the service staff are phenomenal. The food is great, the portions are HUGE. Haven’t had a chance to try any of their homemade desserts yet but omigosh do they look yummy!!! If you’re ever going through NJ and have the time or the appetite… Yetters is definitely a place to stop!

Order the BBQ if it happens to be on the menu of the day. It is the real deal, smoked in a smoker slow and sublime. We tried the both the beef brisket and the pulled pork and both were delicious. This BBQ is the best within miles and, ironically, can be found in a diner. In fact, Montague’s Smokin Steve’s with Yetter’s Diner dethrone Texas Smoke BBQ to become the 2013 Champions of the Grill. Service was excellent and welcoming.

We stopped here after Space Farms yesterday — 4 adults with 4 kids. We ordered simple food — bugers, pulled pork, chicken fingers etc… but it took 45 min! Seriously? The food was mediocre; you could taste the canned ingredients. Nachos with cheap powered cheese & canned beans and jalapeños-mmmmm! Freezer burned French fries, pulled pork BBQ was a bit sour. Restaurant Impossible ruined me :-)

Friendly staff, decent food, reasonable prices. Only gripe is the avocado in my Cobb salad was served frozen.

If it’s a burger you want, go up Rte 206 about 4 – 5 miles to Culver’s Lake and stop at Jumboland. Yetters has gone downhill. Sad. Yetters never was good – it was average in the past. It’s slipped quite a distance from that in recent years. The food is horrible, the décor dated, the service indifferent, slow, and often unprofessional. The Italian part of the menu is an «egg noodles and ketchup» style… the raviolis are mush, the pasta aged and stale, the sauces very heavy on that watered-down Heinz taste and consistency. Burgers…they redefine what it means to screw up a burger. My fiancée(who is the least picky eater I know) ordered it cooked medium, had to send hers back twice… once overcooked, the second attempt came out severely undercooked… the third time, at least it wasn’t red and bloody and she ate half. I used to go here a lot as a kid, but returning to the area I went twice… both times disappointed. If you bring friends from out-of-town to this place, you deserve to have them look at you and question your taste. That one star above… like the SAT giving you credit for spelling your name correctly… is just because the place is open and has tables… and mints at the register.

Solid diner that has become a staple on trips to my friend’s Poconos house. Stick with simple stuff like burgers(or try the mash of cheese and meat that is the pita burger if you’re giving up on health for a while). For some reason they list spicy fries on the menu, which in reality are just waffle fries without spice. This was explained by the waitress, who also had no clue as to the reasons behind this discrepancy.
