I signed the lease february 2015 when it was alara at summerfield. It was great. I felt same, my first time on my own and renting. At the end of fall season, the new company took over. They got rid of all employees and brought in everyone new from the office to the maintenance employees. Few weeks into this change The doggie bags changed(cheap), the dumpsters changed. Creating less room and an overfill of garbage. Garbage day pick up turned into every saturday morning at 5 am. My day off… with no sleep. At this time, someone not forced entry which leads me to believe it was an insider who let themselves into my apartment stealing some valuable belongings. I ended up filing a police report. Apart from this there is an issue with rodents as well. My furnace shut off at least 4 times that i can count each time within 2 weeks apart. Happy to say that i will no longer be renewing my lease. This was the absolute worst experience. Please be wise when choosing a place to rent.

I’m sorry to say that this complex changed a lot over time. I mean no disrespect to the staff members on a personal note. They were all very considerate and kind to me. My biggest complaints were related to ignored service requests. I entered multiple work requests that were NEVER responded to. I eventually gave up and simply dealt with the issues on my own. In 2014, I signed a new lease… mostly because I hated to move. Also, I wanted my daughter to stay in the same school district until she finished elementary school. Like some of the other reviews posted here… I can tell you that my rent increased significantly on a yearly basis. At one point… as «long time resident» and to thank me for signing another lease I was promised a «bonus». The bonus offered the choice between a new microwave(above my stove) or having the apt re-painted. Despite telling them that I wanted the microwave… it never came. I told the staff three times in person and the last time I was informed, «we will see what we can do.» I gave up even asking after that. I mentioned in a previous review that the landscape by my front door was barren. I filled out several work orders and notified staff directly and nothing EVER happened. There were two dead tree stumps outside my door for the entirety of my 5 year stay. I watched the landscaping service spread wood chips and plant new trees EVERYWHERE except my end of the complex. It was a joke between my neighbors that we were forgotten. I lived there from December of 2009 to Jan of 2015. It turned out to be a good thing that I wound up moving. I’m a lot happier at my new location and the rent is more affordable. Again, on a personal level I mean no disrespect to the staff. I got to know several of them quite well and they were good people.

I’ve been living here in a 2 bedroom for about 5 months and before that, my girlfriend stayed in a one bedroom for a year. The interior is fantastic. Brand new appliances and maintenance is always here to fix/check up on things right away. The only complaint is the insulation around windows and doors. It gets way to cold in the winter which leads to higher utility bills. See Michelle in the office for great customer service! The pool is awesome in the summer as well as the free community grills they provide. Our guests always compliment us on how much they love our apartment.&

I’ve lived here for three years. As of late, when I’m out walking my dogs, I’ve noticed that the back parking area by the shop on Northpoint has become a hotspot for carloads of teens to sit and smoke weed. It’s super obnoxious. There’s also tons of middle school to high school age kids in the parking lots loitering on residents’ cars at night. I don’t know what has happened as of late to draw these people to hang out in the parking lot, but it makes me wish I hadn’t signed a lease for another year. It’s strange because I’m pretty sure everyone’s rent got hiked when the property changed systems this summer. I don’t know where all these hoodlums came from.
