If you’re on the tiny end of the petite spectrum, there’s nothing for you here. No petite clothing. Little(nothing?) below a size 4 misses. No size 4 shoes. We saw some nice casual pants for my husband, but the person stocking /folding would not get out of the way to allow us to browse or offer us any assistance. A second employee offered help, but only after we asked. Better off looking at Tommy Hilfiger or Brooks Bros.(Yes, the sale prices are competitive!) While the store is neat and clean, service and selection are lacking. I did not see anything in the way of great outlet bargains either. Skip it.

What is this store all about? Is the theme rugged outdoorsy, that’s the feeling I get from its interior, but their website says classic and edgy styles. There’s nothing edgy about their styles, classic? Definitely. It’s a shoe store I think, with some clothes and other miscellaneous items against the walls & about the store. Most times I visit this outlet, after doing some shopping at their sister company stores I’ll receive some kind of Bass outlet coupon. This prompts me to walk in and take a look, but most of the men’s shoes styles are five years behind the current trend so nothing is too appealing for a guy my age. On this particular day Bass is running a buy one get TWO free pairs of shoes free. Sounds like a great deal right? I walk around and find nothing for myself, see some cute shoes for ladies and think maybe I could get something for my sister. Ah here’s the catch, regular price on any pair of shoes at Bass is averaged about $ 90, shoes range in price from $ 65 for ladies sandal’s to $ 105 for men’s casuals. I saw a pair of comfortable looking men’s sandals with crappy tread for $ 105, exorbitant cost I thought. I have no qualms paying high prices if the product is of reasonable quality. For this type of style, I’d rather spend $ 105 at Faconnables casuals from Nordstrom. Ladies sandals; I saw a few pairs that were cute enough that my sister would consider wearing. I got my Ma to try on a few to tell me how they wear. She said they were way to firm and she knows from experience that the feel of the pads would hurt your feet from prolonged use.(Maybe that could be said about many of Women’s shoes, but these are sandals. I’m really trying to get a pair of shoes to score the two free pairs, but there is nothing that catches my interest. I’ll leave it for the next person. I wonder how many others think the same; I don’t often see people with Bass bags. On the way out, my Pops found a pair of men’s shorts, tacky shade of blue in color, but 50% off. With my coupon the final cost was $ 12 dollars. Not bad.
