Horrible service. The bartender was a complete airhead when I Went there on 5−21−16 at about 2pm. She was very slow and forgot my order 3 times. When the food came out, the order was still wrong. How hard is it to remember a buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. i hope IF I ever come back, she is not here. horrible horrible horrible.

Terrible. Went there for their Sunday brunch buffet and what a waste of money. 50 $ for two people. Food was cold, kept running out of food, and the food that was hot tasted like garbage. If you value your money then don’t go here and waste it.

Nice waitstaff, bartender was somewhat curt. Food was ok for the price. Fair to Good beer selection. We did not have any of the Irish fare so I’ll go back to try it sometime. The medium burgers and fried chicken we ordered were overcooked — Fries were run of the mill, not freshly hot. One of the baked potatoes was great, one was not thoroughly baked. If the place were very busy it might explain those results. It wasn’t busy or rushed so the kitchen gets a ‘D’. We saw other tables with pizza that did look good.

Well we where there for a Friday dinner, the service was good, however the food another story. We both had baked onion soup and it was so full of paprika that, that was all you could taste. My friend had the Cod dinner, It was so under cooked that the batter just fell off the fish and the fish was watery inside. It just was not good. The management did reimburse us for the soups and the fish which was the right thing to do, however, I would say that there food is just OK. It’s a better place for drinks with friends.

I really wanted this restaurant to be awesome. First time I went there it was a good experience but I went back 6 months later to show my cousin how it was and the bartender was to rude. Everyone is entitled to their bad days here and there but it took us 15 to get her attention(mind you there were only 5 or 6 other people sitting at the bar). She gave us nothing but attitude, asked for our ID’s, I reached out to get them back and she literally threw them down on the bar and didn’t even look at me. I said, «woah, never mind», she’s didn’t even say anything and we walked out. I never experienced such rude experience!

I’m writing this review as I stare at my empty beer, which has been empty for 20 minutes now. I barely type, as I am wasting away from hunger. I ordered an appetizer about 30 minutes ago. I’m sure there is an explanation, but I wouldn’t know because the waitress never came back. This place sucks.

I always see this restaurant when I go to the Farmer’s Market in the parking lot on the west side of Aurora. Well, today we stopped in for the first time and had a wonderful time, excellent food and a great waitress. The reuben was one of the best sandwiches I have ever had. The prices for drinks is ridiculously low but please don’t change this detail! We will be back!

My husband and I cannot thank the folks at Brody’s Irish Pub for making our sons First Holy Communion a tremendous success!!! First of all, Jeff was great in setting up the logistics of the party. No issues or anything, he was very accommodating and pleasant to work with. Second in putting together the menu was super easy Jeff was excellent in making it easy and meeting our requests and then some. On party day they all took care of everything in setting up the room to making sure our guests where we’ll taken care of. We have received so many compliments on the facility, service and food! We continue to get compliments!!! The garlic nuggets, cheese sticks, pizza, beef, chicken was excellent! So much food, tasted great and quality exceeded our expectations. The servers were great, thank you Jimmy and Megan!!! And the manager, John(we are hoping we got his name right) was super accommodating. Thank you, we are big foodies and will spread the word!!! Great place!!!

We have been here a few times. Great place to come for a beer and munch on some appetizers. Quality of the food served is inconsistent. The fish was a real draw for this place when it originally opened. Just a simple fish fry. The expanded the menu choices this spring and the quality of the food has gone down. The servers are very friendly and attentive. They need to be careful they don’t try to save money on the ingredients for their meals. I desperately want this place to be better as it has a very enjoyable atmosphere which is in short supply on the west side of Aurora.

Went in for a Guinness and the bartender poured it like it was a miller. I told her there’s a specific way to pour a Guinness and she said«no we dont pour our beers like that and we dont have to». I got up and left! Why have an Irish pub if you’re not gonna educate your bartenders on how to properly bartend?

This place continues to get better as the owners and management work out all the kinks. Menu is now smaller and mostly pub grub but much better now. As a bar, it’s best when Diana is bartending. As a restaurant, the food is much improved and the service is decent. It was terrible when they first opened. They have an experienced manager now and it shows.

Great place to eat and drink, friendly waitstaff. Jimmy was exceptional with his customer service and very attentive, Diana, the bartender was also awesome and made sure I was taken care of. Will definitely be back. A lot better then the Cuban place before.

Stopped in hoping for something different. It wasn’t. Nice enough wait staff but had an interesting discussion with one of the«owners». Food was typical bar fare. «How’s the fish fry?» «Ugh. I’m from Alaska and know great fish and I don’t eat it here» «Have you tried any food on your menu?» «No-that’s what the others are here for» This place will eventually crater into mediocrity, which is a shame. There needs to be a good place in the area known for something other than«Just shut up and eat it and drink it»

I wanna give it 0 stars, but it won’t let me. Hardly ever open, and when they are, they close super early.

Stopped on my way back to Chicago. It was a Sunday afternoon. Brodie’s pub look great from the outside. Comfortable inside. Ordered a gin and tonic. Ordered the Reuben sandwich. The sandwich was great. The fries that came with it were excellent. I would highly recommend this pub for the food I had. Would like to try other things on the menu. Hopefully next time I’m in the area. P. S. They gave me a sample of their Irish nachos. Absolutely tremendous. Try it or ask for it. Bob B

This was our first visit to the latest restaurant to be in this location. We really wanted to enjoy it so much more, but unfortunately the experience was just ok. We walked in about 4:30 and were greeted by a server and told we could sit where we wanted, so we picked a booth up front. It took about 10 minutes for our server to greet us and she seemed almost annoyed that we were interrupting her. We ordered our drinks which took another 5 – 10 minutes to get and all we ordered were 2 iced teas. We placed our order for a bowl of the soup of the day & a wrap for me, with chicken tenders & mozz sticks for my husband. The server immediately placed the order, but just stood for 10 – 15 minutes talking with another female employee that I’m thinking must have been the bookkeeper or office person. She finally came our way again to check on the booth behind us and I asked for my soup(She didn’t think to bring it out before the entrees?) And I told her what dipping sauce was wanted for the tenders. The soup was ok. The flavor was nice, there were chunks of tomato in it, but the consistency was a little too thick. Our entrees came and hubby’s tenders were way too done, but the mozz sticks and my wrap & fries were tasty. Once again, our server was way too busy chatting with other employees and never came to check on us until we were about ¾ done with our food and my drink had been empty for awhile. There were only 2 other tables when we walked in, so I have no idea why the service was so mediocre. Also, I was really hoping they’d update the back of the restaurant more. It’s always been so dark back there. The new longer bar is nice, with great photos of Ireland. We’ll probably try them again in hopes that the service is better, but Hounds Blue Moon across the street lost us and many others due to their careless service, especially from the owner and his wife. It’s too bad, because we strive to keep local businesses going, but they need to earn our loyalty.

We were greated by 3 people. After 15 minutes they took our drink and food order. The fries were cold and the fish greasy. The Reuben was good. The slaw was so small and probably from a container. We won’t be back. Wait staff stands around and chit chats too much. Not professional. The sign on the door stated enjoy our home made meals. There was nothing home made about this experience.

Had a wonderful time here. Friendly service and phenomenal food. Loved the tenderloin! The owners Dennis and Jeff came by and welcomed us too. Will be back often as this is a great place for a beer and food. Keep it up!

This is the old Patrick’s on the west side in Aurora. The place looks very similar to when it was Patrick’s, but it has a more open feel. The bar is longer and the back room is opened up. The food is good and reasonably priced(try the pork chop tenderloin). The beer is also reasonably priced. The service at the bar is fantastic — friendly and I never had to ask to have my glass refilled as Diana keeps a good eye out on all of her customers. I’m glad to have Brody’s on the west side. We needed a good neighborhood pub.
