We went here for lunch on Friday w/my co-workers. It was fine, the restaurant was almost full, waiters and host were busy running around. Hot dish was pretty fresh and tasty. i like the Korean Chicken and chesse mussel, and the chicken wings, that wing is the one of best wing i tried in any chinese buffet, much better than KFC. I would say that is the best buffet in the Aurora area. We all agreed that we be back. keep up the good work…

A Quick Caviot this is the First review of this place after the 20th time we have been there. This place 2 years ago used to be great, the food was good, it was fresh, and not to much MSG. The service was OK, and the management was always rude… Well my updfate on this place me and wifey went here after we found out the place we were to go was closed, so this place was close, we vowed not to go back for awhile, but lo and behold 2 months latter we came back. Was it worth it? This places management is very rude. the servers are nice, we sat down got our 2 waters and we were ready for the buffett BUT was the Buffett ready for US? we came in alittle after 7pm they close at 9pm there were a good amount of people in there. Something wasn’t right at all, the food was NOTHOT, barely warm it was OLD, the new stuff they did bring looked like it was warmed over. II am really starting to question, the safety of going here, after I saw the noodles fresh and piping hot, they looked mushy and almost watered down like soup, I picked up the spoon moved it around a bit and put it back down… I even told my wife to stay away from the mystery meat on a stick. We don’t eat crab, and one time we asked the guy what the item was he said no crab in there ALTHOUGH it tasted like crab ragoon, I asked another person another time. he was very chineese he said OHWWDATSCRABBRAGOON, I wasn’t happy. to spend 20 bucks on 2 buffets which for this place is a bit pricey, I say there is MUCH better and HEALTHIER. were tempted to try Babas next door door. Odly this place is playing classic rock on a loop tape for the customers, an odd choice, they much talk to PAPABEAR((see my review)) THe Verdict: I would say NO… this place is getting worse and worse and certainly shows in the QUALITY of the food… The service and management will be forever rude that’s not changing.

Food was two thumbs down. The food wasn’t fresh, not worth a picture. I’m not much of a picky eater but I won’t be going back here, ever! Staff was pretty nice

We went here awhile back for lunch. It was just ok. We started referring to it as the mediocre Chinese buffet, but it was the best in the west aurora area. We went back tonight for dinner and the three of us decided they had really improved. The food was fresh and tasty. A very nice variety of seafood including mussels, salmon, shrimp, squid, and crawfish. There were a number of chicken and American dishes. There was a large dessert table with fresh fruit. And some very good buffet level sushi. Two adults and a child was $ 30. It felt like a fair price. Glad to see the improvement. I did choose to drop them a star. We went back yet again and the quality seemed to have dropped a bit. I could call it the cheap Chinese chicken buffet. Seems like most of the dishes are chicken based. Little to no pork or beef.

A great place. Staff are always quick and helpful. It’s so cheap and the hibachi makes it well worth the price with shrimp in the mix. Wish they had more sauces but I deal There is sushi too! Otherwise standard fare but again for around $ 8 for lunch and $ 10 for dinner approx I appreciate this place

Much like the only other person to review this restaurant, I had low expectations when I first walked through the doors. It’s cheap chinese buffet, no frills just the same slop I grew up eating at all the chinese buffet’s over the past 15 plus years. The only reason I am giving this place 4 stars is because they have pretty good hibachi, and they do not charge extra for it. So for $ 6.99 lunch price hibachi, chinese, and a few rolls of sushi count me in! Just remember to lower your expectations, this ain’t PF Changs.

Sometimes you’re just in the mood for some cheap food and a lot of it. Hibachi Grill and Buffet offers just that. It’s in some run-down strip mall in the middle of Aurorexico. I never have high expectations for Chinese buffets, so I wasn’t let down. The food was decent. They even serve those Chinese buffet staples like mayonnaise-slathered mussels and warm mayonnaise-slathered imitation crab meat. The only things missing were the cheesy spinach casserole thingy and leathery overcooked prime rib. At $ 6.99 for lunch, the price was just right. I think I got my money’s worth from the 3 plates of clams and crawfish I shoveled into my fat face alone. Next time I’m in town visiting my meth dealer or my Craigslist mistress, I’ll probably stop by for more authentic Chinese buffet food like canned chocolate pudding and heat lamp pizza.

I at first had mixed feelings coming here as the facility used to be the Jumbo Buffet that I visited only once in 2008 with a friend and it was horrible. However, I took a chance to start coming here when it first opened. I was impressed by the variety(compared to Jumbo) of items to choose from though mainly chicken. I loved the egg drop soup and some of the other selections of chicken with rice. What sold me or got me to like the place was the chicken pieces I believe breast and/or leg portions that was seasoned so well. I have become a regular customer and for me it is a fine place to dine for the buffet at least. They truly want to serve me well and have read and listened to my comments at times and have made improvements where needed(at least for me) :). I cannot find too many decent Buffets of this kind in the area or anywhere and so I keep coming back . I rate it the highest I can, because it is clean and they listen to the customer and please the customer and the food is fresh for the selections I choose. Thank you.

Let’s see how should I describe it in one word. .. DISGUSTING. You want the best and cheap chinese buffet. Head over to Fox Valley Buffet in the mall. The freshest sushi you will ever have, the best egg drop and hot and sour soup. They have a wide variety of American, Chinese and Japenese items. Lunch is $ 7.00 and dinner is $ 12.00. On the weekends it’s all seafood with crab legs. The staff is AWESOME.

So we received an ad about the grand opening of this place… We decided to try it out. Don’t waste your time! The service is worst than below par. When attempting to ask the staff any questions they would ignore us and walk away. Our server at least came back to our table a few times to clear our plates and refill our drinks at least. The food was even more disappointing… It looked as though it had been sitting on the tables for hours but it had just been put out fresh. The quality of the ingredients was so low that I really don’t think we should have eaten it. There was imitation crab and egg in all the«sushi» they were serving.

As the previous reviewer noted, this is the former«Jumbo Buffet». I was a patron of Jumbo Buffet for many years until I had consistently poor dining experiences: bad service and poor food quality to be specific. The place was basically empty at 7:00PM, yet my server disappeared shortly after seating me. The restaurant has an «Hibachi» area, as the other did. The former restaurant had the Hibachi items out to assemble. This restaurant did not; still not sure where they were hiding the items. I did not ask anyone, as they seemed too busy chatting in a nearby booth to be bothered. The buffet items were essentially the same. I think they simply changed the name and redectorated a bit. One thing they changed were an addition of more sushi items. The troubling part, though, was that none of the sushi was labeled. I agree that $ 9.25 for dinner was a bit pricey, considering what you get. Sorry, Hibachi Grill & Buffet(Jumbo Buffet), I will not be returning.

We recently received a advertisement in the mail for«Hibachi Grill & Buffet». I recognized the address as the former«Jumbo Buffet». Now, since there was a new Chinese buffet replacing an old Chinese buffet, I really did not expect too much of a change !! And I was correct. This is the normal/average American style Chinese buffet. The food while not disappointing, is almost the same as the former«Jumbo Buffet» that it replaced(I can say at the time we ate, it was all very fresh). At $ 9.25 per adult at dinner time, it is a bit on the pricey side for this type of restaurant. I will try Hibachi again, but for lunch. As I am writing this, I notice that the phone number is the same as the former restaurant !!
