Crestwood Suites-Aurora

I am happy to say that there is a great place to stay in Aurora with outstanding prices, comfortable rooms and great management on premises.
After experiencing other extended stay type suites with disappointing results I can honestly say that Crestwood Suites is far and away the most pleasant and well maintained establishments I have ever experienced.
I would highly recommend Crestwood Suites to anyone looking for an affordable and beautiful room with full kitchen, look no further!

The Crestwood Suites Extended Stay in Aurora, CO was absolutely disgusting. I booked this hotel because of the «4 Star» ratings Expedia gave it. As soon as I arrived I saw «scetchy» looking people everywhere and when I entered the hotel the strong odor blew me away. I went ahead and checked into my room hoping it wasn’t that bad and maybe the lobby was just the only bad part, but upon my arrival onto my floor I realized the entire hotel is in deplorable condition. Garbage all over the floors, dirty carpet throughout and my room was in unacceptable condition. I didn’t even want to sit on the bed. I immediately checked out and asked for a refund to which they told me I had to go through Expedia to do that. Do not stay here.

Absolutely horrible!!! Drove up and saw cars with broken out windows, folks were coming out of the hotel that looked like they were homeless!!! I booked thru Expedia and tried to get a refund, with no luck. Didn’t actually stay here, I guess I won’t use Expedia anymore either!!!

Positively deplorable conditions and service. Rented this room through Expedia (who has not been of much help as of yet) for a friend who was flying into Denver last minute. Expedia reviews showed they had 3 out of 5 stars so we expected it to be OK. Boy, were we wrong!
Upon check in it was discovered that there was notable filth on the surfaces, no sheets on the stain ridden mattress, pillows on the couch, a semen filled condom in the toilet, the list goes on. We checked my friend in and had to immediately go to a wedding, so we weren’t able to complain until later that night. When we returned to the hotel the front desk had a steel gate from the ceiling to the counter and no one was available. We then found a man named Jeff, poor guy, who did help us. Jeff was a security guard who handled our complaints in stride and cleaned the room himself to the best of his ability. Through the night people jiggled the handle, trying to get in, rendering the resident of the room understandably frightened.
The next morning when the front desk reopened they were confronted with the facts regarding the room. (It would have gone a lot differently if I had been there, not just my friend for this part) My friend explained what happened, the lady at the front desk blamed Jeff and said he shouldn’t have checked him into a dirty room. When told it was actually HER that checked him in she just said there’s no way and she had no idea why the room was dirty. I have cleaned up the grammar as the speech, grammar, and conduct of the front desk personnel in itself is reason to complain.
Worked with Expedia over the phone trying to get a refund for more than 40 minutes only to be told to call Crestwood Suites directly and talk to their director, though they didn’t have a name for me.
I called Crestwood and tried to get through for 15 minutes. Still trying. Total NIGHTMARE.
Since moving to Denver from Phoenix, I have yet to find anything I could truly dub as ghetto. (In Phoenix it’s pretty easy, but Denver is really nice. I guess my mistake was booking a hotel in Aurora…) But this experience is the one truly GHETTO place/​experience we’ve been subjected to since I moved here.
DO NOT EVEN GO TO THIS HOTEL! IT’S POSITIVELY DISGUSTING!

HORRIBLE! Stay away. EVERYONE IS RUDE AND WONT HELP AT ALL. They told us they clean the sheets once a week and if we wanted new ones to put them on our selfs. Don’t do it! Not worth it. DIRTY! Worst service ever! Turn away

First Of Everything, this place is not the cheapest extended stay.
The Best Inn off of Quebec St in Denver, CO & I-​70 is the cheapest extended stay I’ve been to so far. This stay did the trick just for a place to stay. The security men here does not have to be so loud and rude. The staff here does not need to lock the door while your staying there & for no valid reason! I Do Know, ‘you get what you pay for.’ The trash for sure doesn’t get taken out & YOU may not get all the things YOU need for the number of people YOU have with YOU for YOUR stay there. The LaQuinta on Abilene St in Aurora, C. was WAY cheaper than here. LaQuinta was not listed as an extended stay but had everything Crestwood had, but did not have the kitchenette, and was a 100 times a better stay than Crestwood & had no problems helping us extend our stay, giving us most of what we needed for the room. Most.

DO NOT STAY. NASTY ROOM. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE.
Rampant drug sales and use, prostitution, nasty dirty room, stale cooking smells permeate hallway, extremely rude staff and a sleepless night filled with loud rap music pounding from the room next door. No staff on duty AT ALL after 11pm. None. Please read and believe the other reviews. I didn’t and now I’m stuck here for 2 more nights bc my company made and paid for the reservation at my request. Hopefully, my car will be here in the morning. It’s that kind of place.

I wish I could give them negative stars!!! This place was BEYOND horrible. I got a call from the hotel desk clerk… as I was getting off the plane. saying «we don’t have any rooms». Yes, I booked through Expedia, but that was 4 months ago! Went to the hotel to find out what was going on and the place smelled awful! The desk clerk was rude and didn’t care. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay there even if they had a room! STAY AWAY! RUN!!! Don’t even think about staying at this place! Dirty, smelly, employees are rude!

An hour outside of Denver, someone called me from the hotel to tell me they couldn’t honor my reservation. No explanation, no apology, just that they didn’t have a room for me. After I got out of traffic and was able to call them back, no one would answer the phone.

Omg this place is beyond horrible. We showed up & they gave us a single instead of our Deluxe room. Front desk said «oh well, we don’t have anything available». Besides the fact that we were forced to sleep on the floor. The place is Non-​smoking but the entire hotel is saturated with smoke. The bathrooms towels were used (full of dirt). We went to the store & came back to find the hotel SURROUNDED BY POLICE!!! Apparently, some people ran into the hotel & were hiding inside the hotel!!! It was a disaster after disaster. We had 2 young girls with us that were playing in a tournament the next day & we didn’t feel safe. They refused to give us our money back for the remaining days. Once we complained to managers. The manager turned our keys off BEFORE we were able to check out. We had to go back to the desk to tell her to turn the keys back on so we can get our stuff. The whole ordeal was so crazy. I’m still in shock.

Absolute garbage. Screw this place. They took my reservation through expedia after closing hours, then, I get there and this security guy or whatever, pretty much a glorified door man, said they were closed and kicked me out. What a douche. Didn’t give a poop that I made a reservation or that I had nowhere to go. I wasn’t even being rude. I was being nice cuz I thought he’d try to help me. No trying to resolve anything or help me out. Place looked like a dump anyway. Smelled like garbage. So, now I’m sitting in my car at 2:30 in the morning looking for a place to stay. They took my money but didn’t give me a room and the douche was completely rude. The reservation said my room was confirmed even for late check in. Nightmare. They better give me my money back. F this place. Run for the hills. I found a room at the Extended Stay down the street. They’re super nice and helpful and the room’s pretty sweet. It’s like a little studio apt. i booked a room and get the confirm e-​mail, and I drive to there, I asked front desk she said I need to wait one or two hours until they get the information, how they can let customer wait so long time at the cold day? After customer get the confirm e-​mail? And when I talked with front desk women her several children make a lot noisy at lobby, how worker can bring children at their working time? And attitude is rude ! No more !

This is place is gross! I found this place on Travelocity. I don’t know how they got 4 stars from that site but this is barely a one star place. The first thing we noticed coming in was the smell in the hallways, can’t explain it… I don’t even know. Then we get into the room and the cupboards are either missing doors or are falling apart. There’s some gross brown goop on the wall. Some of lamps don’t have working switches you have to turn the bulbs! We requested a room with 2 beds but got one with a pull out couch which would have been fine except there is a bunch of crumbs and food under it when you pull the bed out and they could not provide bedding for the pullout because people have been stealing them so they didn’t have extra! What!?! Where am I?! I could go on but won’t. If you need a place to stay long term and are on a really tight budget this could be a place to stay but honestly pay a little more…

The first thing my girlfriend and I noticed when we drove up was that there was loud hip hop music blaring out of the second floor window. There was a police car across the street monitoring, never a good sign. After entering the hotel the place just got more sketchy. Many people live here full time. The whole place is ghetto and smells gross, people are partying and loud (it was also a Wednesday. Def saw a guy checking in with a prostitute. Yuck. We asked to get our room switched because we were next to the party room, but she couldn’t help us because all the rooms were sold out. Got this hotel through a deal on Expedia. Never am I going through Expedia again. Yea its cheap, but def not worth it, go to the motel 6 down the street, looks a lot nicer.

This place was sketch. Ended up staying at this place after my girlfriend found some online deal where you choose a hotel at a good rate, and find out what the hotel is afterward. Disappointing to say the least. So when we arrived and parked, first thing I saw was some oversized cholo going into the place with two heinous looking women in the tightest and shortest dresses you’ve ever seen; clearly prostitutes. The halls smelled like piss. The room smelled like something sour i couldn’t identify. The refrigerator in the room hummed soooo loudly ALL the times. The old tv buzzed like it was going to explode. They did have free internet (that was nice). at night you’d hear lots of odd noises coming from odd sounding people. and the staff was not what I’d call friendly; first of all I don’t think they like well dressed white people. and when i say well dressed, i mean we dont look like complete white trash. also, check out was at 11AM… I got to the front desk to check out at 11:05AM…the frontdesk guy says, «you were supposed to be checked out at 11…» and got this annoyed look on his face… then told me I’d be charged a $ 20 late fee… I asked him if he was really going to charge me for 5 minutes… and he said it’s a «system thing» and that’s just the way it is. I call BS but whatever. I mean the place is cheap, so you cant expect tooooo much from a place like this; but even for the cost this place isn’t even close to worth it.

In search of a good deal for my recent trip to Denver, I decided to buy a package deal through Expedia (flight/​car/​hotel). Other than the flights, I don’t think my bargain hunting did me any favors. Expedia isn’t ranking high on my list of favorie websites right now.
This place is definitely for those seeking a more long term solution (those on extended business/​house hunters). It is what it is but make sure you ask for a non smoking room because we received a smoking room and the smell of stale smoke permeated everything in the room. There were even cigarette ashes still sitting on the air conditioner and floor. Impeccably clean it was not.
It isn’t great but it will do if you are looking for a bargain and close access to the highway. I think next time I will take my friends up on their offers for a place to stay though.

I’m not rating this place on hotel amenities and what not, just to be clear this place is not high luxury.
When I got stationed here I lived here for about 4 months until I bought my house. With that being said I wasn’t the only one living there. At times that was very annoying, but a quick call to the front desk solved any problems I may have had.
This place doesn’t have a business center. They may have a shuttle, but I never saw it in my 4 months there.
Honestly there’s not much to say about the rooms, There clean, no flat screen TVs or anything like that. No deluxe bathroom or kitchenette.
So why the high rating?
The staff.
What I can say about this place is that the people that worked there looked out for me on several occasions.
Whether it be brewing the complimentary coffee a little earlier when they noticed how early I had to get up.
Or the time they didn’t throw my stuff out and lock my room when I forgot to extend my room one Friday. They just held my room, and left a note saying that I probably forgot and to just pay for the next week in the next morning.
They gave me a great government rate that kept my credit card bill low during the house hunting process and they even gave me some intel on the neighborhood I was moving into once I found a house.
Was it a great facility, heck no, but the people where great and I’d recommend it to anybody in a similar situation as I was in.

I stayed here while house-​hunting for about a month. While not luxury, it was definitely a good deal for the price ($ 40ish/​day if you stay more than a week) and space (2-​room suite with kitchenette). Be aware that «extended stay» means you only get housekeeping once per week. If you need fresh towels before your restock day, you can exchange them at the front desk.
Pros: Space and cost, as mentioned before. It was clean, quiet, and extremely close to at least 4 or 5 decent restaurants. Easy I-​225 access. Only $ 50 to keep pets in the room. Nice kitchenette with relatively new fridge. Very clean laundry room with lots of brand-​new appliances. Pleasant/​polite front-​desk workers. Great location.
Cons: It didn’t smell the best when I first came in, but that’s fixed with an air freshener. The free wifi wouldn’t work from time to time. The garbage disposal only worked intermittently.
If your goal is to find the least expensive extended-​stay hotel in town, this is it. I don’t recommend using this place as a normal hotel; there are plenty of inexpensive hotels in the area that will provide daily housekeeping. However, if you’re looking for a place to call home for a week or more, you can save money and be comfortable staying here.
