If I could give ZERO stars I would this was THEE worst place, wifey and I have been to since weve been back in over a year from costa rica.
BUYERS BEWARE… What I am about to share is, completely honest, and NOT over exaggerated. We also live in costa rica the past year, and this experience was worse than ANY third world country experience we had in eating out…
The horror story Starts: It a Sat night wifey, after a meeting we had at out home decides she like to go out its about 9:30, it was either portillos or anew choice denny’s.Although we have been to dennys what we were about to experience, certainly was a shock, and I will go slowly step by step. I want to say, I do not feel this was a UNUSUAL experience for this place, this place is falling apart and Ill list the reasons why.
We get there 9:45 Everything looks OK, lady geets us lundged over the cash register, how are you all doing tonight, we said great how about you, she continues to tell us how tired and exhausted she was. that I more hour and shes outs there, we continued to the table.
In a normal restaurant, the server would ask if youd like a «drink» the woman asked us what we wanted to eat, I understand she was in a hurry to get done, but as we will find out and discover this woman representing dennys is a firecracker waiting to go off, that will land them in a court of law.
so kindly I brought her back to «lets order drinks first. she seemed sincere and apologetic AT FIRST, but that was all a lie as we will soon come to discover. We ordered coffee as we normally do. The coffee took over 10 min to even have her ask about, then when the coffee finally got on the table, she said she had made a fresh pot but someone from the other side stole it, and she had to make another pot. I was ok with that as it sounded «plausible» but was it?
at this point STILL no coffee she said can I take your order, as I thought this was really unorthodox to order a meal before even getting the drinks I went along with it, she promised to get the coffee, and by the way there was NO SILVERWARE… this lady whom I will let you know told me her name was AMBER actually told me, listen I know you think there should be silverware, BUT this is dennys you are at, and that not how we do things here, we bring the silverware at the end? I was surprised to understand this me and wifey have been to over 25 restaurants in the past 3 months and NEVER had a heard such a odd practice. But again, I was like ok…
I almost walked out, she then came with the coffee and juice. and NO SILVER WARE and no sugar. i literally had the coffee on my table for 10 min… wifey never got her sald and her comes the «store manager» bringing out our meals before I even had silverware on the table,.
there is no point in going any further with this but to know tell you, this AMBER lady actually motionedto other customers that I was crazy., and as the store manager the witness, even said whatever to my complaints to him, he did not reprimand her in any way except saying amber… she again replied what ever, at this point I was getting angry, insulted by a underachiever as a waitress, and a store manager who as «nice» as he was had no authority in shutting up this woman.
she embarrassed me in front of my wife and the other people eating there. I told her I didn’t appreciate what she said, she actually had the odasity to come BACK to my table to «taunt» me asking me if everything was ok with a smirk, this is where we have to draw the line, I rose up from my seat and rebuked her. the store manager said they will see all that happened on the tape, this place also right before we left someone left, and was mad, when I asked amber WHY he had left with his whole family she replied ohh, he just didn’t get what he wanted. and was kinda smirk, chuckling. this amber was a horror story, I feel insulted by dennys as she IS representing them…
as for the meal I had the steak and eggs it was HORRIBLE 2 times the steak was wrong, the 2^nd time was worse bloody. I finally said lets just leave the store manager grabbed a couple boxes gave me the district managers card, and I have every intention on following up with him tomarrow… this was RIDDICULOUS… and a WASTE of a quiet peacefull time away from home.
I am in management from a local based larger company and I can tell you this there is NO AUTHORITY there at all, there is NO order, at all. and the cooks are HORRIBLE as I also cook myself. they even messed up the hashbrowns…
Just a HORRIBLE experience, now I have a headache, from the stress, and a stomache from the food…

I was here yesterday evening. I understand that this is more of «downtown Aurora», but this restaurant is disgusting. we walked in and no one noticed that my Fiancé and I were standing at the counter for a few minutes, then we sat down and ordered. The server we had was a sweetheart, however other employees there, were just standing around on their phones or talking. I am currently seven months pregnant, so I constantly have to go to the bathroom. I went into the bathroom and it looked horrible. Both toilets did not work right, the seats were filthy, toilet paper and garbage was all over the floor, then when I went to wash my hands, there was absolutely no soap. Since there was no soap, that means that the employees most likely do not wash their hands, which is even more disturbing. The food I had was horrible quality, tasted like plastic. I’ve been to this location a few times before, but from now on, I will take my business elsewhere. Please find some staff that knows how to at least tidy up a bathroom and NOT be on their phones or just lounging around talking.

Jessica B is funny and care about her customer and very education and she is smart and she did great service with her customer and me and family definitely will back.

This Dennys used to be good. Good service and good food. Unfortunately the same is no longer true. Our latest meal was less than satisfactory. It appears that there isn’t enough kitchen or serving staff. Plan to wait a longer than reasonable time for your food. I ordered meat balls and spaghetti. When the meal arrived the spaghetti was swimming in the water it was boiled in. There was a little sauce. My wife ordered tilapia. It was over cooked. The waitress was apologetic but had more than she could handle. It’s too bad this Dennys has gone down hill — it used to be better.

I was here at the city this past weekend with some friends on 2÷26÷2016 early morning. Please don’t ever go there! This place was absolutely disgusting, it was an hour wait and had to ask about being seated 3 times with two servers, there were 10 – 15 tables available but all dirty with plates and food everywhere. No one cleaned tables. I ordered a chicken avocado Caesar salad, there was no dressing and the lettuce look like it had not been cleaned or cut properly. I received food poisoning.
It was a nightmare! So many other people that were seated had left! It should not be a 24 hour place if they cannot have the staff to support it!
I was a waitress myself in the past and never have I experienced a place looking like this one!

had an incident with a server, she asked what we wanted to drink and it was just coffee and a milk shake, she took like 15 mins to come back with the stuff and she did not even bother on asking us what we wanted to eat in those 15 minutes. She came back and she asked, we gave her our order. nest thing you know another gentlemen well dressed came and she took his order immediately. We decided to leave because we had been waiting for 45 mins for our food, wen we were headed to pay for the milkshake and the coffee she saw us and asked us if we were heading out and we said yes. as soon as we answered she told thee cooks to cancel the order that we did not want it it anymore in a very loud voice. She did not even bother to ask why we were heading out. They always take forever to bring out the meals. I believe I have one good experience.

I want to say that our waitress was good, but everything with our meal was horrible. I ordered a medium steak and sent it back when it was well done. The next steak I received was rare so I gave up and just asked for some bacon instead. When the waitress returned my rare steak to the kitchen I hear this jerk cook in the kitchen yell «what’s wrong with it now?» Seriously?!? I know it’s Denny’s, but how about a little professionalism. Unfortunately we will not be back.

If I could give zero stars I would. The customer service was horrible. We planned on dining in and then changed everything to go as soon as our waiter walked by agian which was a minute later, which he said was fine. We waited over 20 minutes for our to go order to come to our table and when it still hadn’t come we went up to the front and they said oh it’s been ready in the back and gave us the oh your waiter was on break he must of forgotten to tell someone to bring it out. Extremly annoyed we took it and left. Only to get home and find out that the stuff was wrong. We called to tell them this and the only thing they could offer was for us to come back and grab the stuff they forgot… Are you kidding me? We live 20 minutes away and grabbed the food on the way home. When we asked to speak to a manager they said there wasn’t one there and we could maybe try and call back tomorrow. So I explained that I payed for things I never got, which is them stealing my money. And they lady on the food I think her name was Amber was beyond rude. Avoid this location and dining here at all costs, the way they treat there paying customers is astounding. And I regret leaving a generous tip for my server jerry because he was just as rude as Amber was on the phone.

I don’t know what’s worse to have, a McDonald’s breakfast or Denny’s. They both taste about the same in taste and quality. The bacon is clearly repeatable and the eggs taste like powdered eggs too! The juice is also watery.

We went there after some drinking and dancing. The wait staff was 3 people. So, it took a long time to order, to get a table, to serve us food and drinks. We got zesty nachos and moons over my hammy (ham sandwich melt). We know it is open 24/​7, but seriously people, why would you take your 3 year old bratty daughter that late at night? so, ambiance was loud. The food was meh at best. The ham was salty, and the nachos were a mess. Taco bell has better nachos, and ham sandwich melt is better at Panera. It could have been a lot better. It has flat screen TVs with Direct TV conneciton, but they didn’t put anything on. just the DirectTV screensaver. We should have gone to IHOP or steak and shake, or taco bell or home. Our server looked haggard since she have to serve half of the dining room. She looked stressed, sweaty, and overwhelmed.

I’ve been coming to this exact Denny’s for so long I find the familiar faces to be comforting. The staff really is great and there’s no one I dislike. It is Denny’s but that’s the taste of America I’ve come to really love. Also, I love the redesigned interior. The change is quite nice and thankfully the staff stayed the same.

It was late on a Saturday night and a bunch of us friends needed a place to go after a concert. There is very little open in burboland late at night. Denny’s fit the bill. The food was edible and we were able to continue the festivities. I was told that the blueberry milkshakes were particularly tasty!

I have had pleasant experiences here in the past. However, the place has gone downhill since the summer and after this last experience I will not be going here ever again. The place is filthy. The tables are so dirty and sticky that I could not get it clean with water and a napkin. The service is poor and the manager is horrible. The entire staff seem miserable and depressed. There had been a very cheery waitress here a few months ago, but only the gloomy were there the day I went. If you are drunk, you might still like it here. Beer goggles will hide the filth and if your drunk enough you might be able to cheer up the crabby staff with drunken shenanigans. But if you are sober and want a nice breakfast — go elsewhere.

I come here for breakfast regularly and have never been disappointed. I’ve been to other Dennys and can’t say the same. So I highly recommend this location.

OK, you might make fun of me for giving Denny’s such a high rating but I love them! And this particular location is very clean and friendly! Note I did come here on a Sunday afternoon, not at 3 am drunk.
The service is friendly, quick and efficient. They always get things right and they never make you feel rushed if you want to sit and talk after your sunday brunch. Not to mention they have awesome prices. And honestly, the food is pretty good. The red, white and blue pancakes are yummy!

This is one of my favorite non-​sober places to eat around here. I’ve made a couple of late night trips to this place to feed my bad food cravings. I can’t really say if the food took a while to get out, because, like I said, this is one of my favorite non-​sober places to go! But our servers are always really nice and I always leave happy. We usually start with the appetizer sampler, and try to switch it up on the entrees. I usually get the breakfast food bc I LOVE pancakes! I could enjoy this place sober or not sober. I generally try to eat healthy so this is one of my guilty pleasures only to be eaten on occasion.

I dont know what the other people reviewing this place expect… but I like this place. It is affordable, and for that affordable price the food is good enough, service is fine, and the place seems clean. (just know what you are getting into, this is a budget diner)

Our server was very nice. so no complaints on that part. but it took a while for our food to come. um its pretty much what you would expected from Denny’s…it doesn’t wow u but ugh I guess its edible…

Okay for when you’re drunk and only because your taste buds don’t know any better. It’s also best to come in hammered. That way you won’t notice the multitude of creepers and drunk high schoolers that seem frequent this place late at night.
I recently hit this one up after a Sox game. It was late and I wanted something other than tacos. I probably should’ve just went with that instead of eating here.
Service absolutely sucked. We waited a good 10 minutes before anyone came over to acknowledge us. «Changing shifts» was the excuse. The food was edible. I ordered a buffalo chicken sandwich (which I actually do enjoy) with a side of hash browns. The bread is suppose to be toasted, this was not. I also had to ask several times for a side of ranch dressing. My hash browns were burnt. Plus my glass of water was never refilled.
I know it’s not high class dining but damn it, get it together Denny’s or the next time I’m drunk I’ll stumble somewhere else.
