Hampton Inn

We went there for a dinner event one evening and were impressed with the décor, restrooms, cleanliness, etc. It appeared to be elegant and nice. It seemed odd then that the bar would only serve drinks in plastic cups. Even wine was served in a plastic cup. Really? This isn’t a college party. It felt very cheap. When dinner was served the plates and silverware were also all disposable. There was no salt or pepper on the tables, no water service, actually no service as all. It was a buffet style with employees managing the buffet but no one ever came around to the tables. If you needed something you’d have to get up and get it yourself (i.e. salt), and you had to clean up after yourself to keep your table clear for a plastic cup cocktail after dinner. Just seemed weird. Wouldn’t it be cheaper to use real dinner and glassware that is washable than to purchase and throw away disposables? It was a beautiful first impression demoted by low class service.

Great place. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. I have been here for two weeks And will be coming back for another two. I could complain about a couple of little things but over all it has been a good stay.

From a guy that used to travel Monday through Friday, this is the Nicest Hampton Inn I’ve ever stayed. Excellent staff, clean rooms, and top notch amenities. We rented out 2 rooms on a Saturday for my daughter’s 9^th birthday and the kids had a blast. The huge pool area is one of the better features of this hotel. A very nice hotel, i highly recommend.

Yes! A hotel that gets it… clean, quite, convenient. Superb staff. We will be back.

I am a little OCD (my wife would say a lot) so with that in mind this was a good hotel. Things were clean, staff was nice and I would certainly stay here again.

Stayed here on business, very nice room. Clean and quiet. Plenty of room to move around the room without bumping into walls and other furniture pieces. Nice size bathroom and sink area.
Coffee maker, fridge and freezer in room too.
Property Manager Tom S. was very friendly and helpful with some items I needed emailed and printed at the hotel.
2^nd Hampton Inn I’ve stayed at in a month, both were pleasantly nice.

Stayed there for a second time because the kids loved the pool the first time. Upon check in, the front desk clerk took a phone call to talk about and complete a reservation and made us wait with 3 anxious kids instead if taking the extra minute if finishing our check in. Other than that our stay was great.

Very nice hotel. Clean and fresh smelling. Nice friendly service. They will help you in any way they can. Definitely would stay here again. Very impressed.

Best Hampton Inn I have come across, and one of the best values too!
I’m from the area, but I’ve travelled about 700 nights for work in the last 6 years. I used my points to put some family members up here and also went to the hotel myself, and was really suprised to see how nice this particular Hampton Inn was.
Newer, clean, friendly desk staff, and we really enjoyed the pool and hottub area, which is much nicer and bigger than most hotel pool areas in the same category.
This is my goto hotel now in the area anytime I need to put someone up for a night, or provide a recommendation!

3 ½ star. Run-​of-​the-​mill Hampton Inn, but it seems very new. Clean. Friendly. Free parking. Free internet. Free breakfast. Not much nearby, but it’s a great spot to stay just outside of Chicagoland.

This location has the best Hampton Inn & Suites I have ever stayed at. It is just as nice as you could want a hotel to be, spacious, new– appearing, clean, quiet, roomy suites (much better than average in my estimation). The breakfast area is very large, and the prefabricated food and coffee is okay. The internet service is reliable but kinda slow — no video streaming is really viewable and downloads take a long time. Otherwise, I’d call this place a nearly perfect hotel. Highly recommended.

Fine hotel! Very clean and service was good. Would definitely stay here again.
I stayed in a suite. It was very nice and well appointed for this type of hotel. I also paid for the hot tub upgrade, which I would not do again. It was located to the side of the bed in the large bedroom. Not exactly the atmosphere we were looking for. The complimentary breakfast was very good.
All in all it was very nice hotel.
