If you are a model airplane or model rocket flyer this is a great place for you. The city of Aurora Parks and Recreation Department has done an excellent job in supporting both hobbies by providing them with an excellent well maintained field. It has paved parking and has hosted multiple regional meets and local club events. It is busy nearly every weekend from March until November with family oriented activities. Visitors are always welcome and encouraged.
