A selection of hiking trails lead one through the woods past a plethora of large ponds and marshy areas. An interesting place if you are into birdwatching or wildlife watching. I saw a cute little frog on the trail, some great blue herons, and evidence of beaver activity. No hunting, no fishing, no bikes, no dogs allowed; as this is a nature preserve. Insect repellant is highly recommended as this is a wetland area and they can eat you alive in August!!! Parking lot is on Old Mill Road by the railroad tracks, trails lead off in both directions from there(cross the road to access most of the trails, there is just one short trail on the parking lot side leading to a short observation deck). This is a very quiet relatively remote spot given that it is still within the greater Cleveland/Akron metro area, you can faintly hear a bit of traffic from a highway in the distance, but there is nothing noisy close to hear except when a train goes by on the rail line. Your feet will stay dry because although the trails pass many wetlands they are on slightly higher forested dry land.
