Great place to go if you want your eardrums blown out on a Wednesday night and drink some Lagunitas Lil Sumpin Sumpin that tastes like something crawled up the tap and died.

I stopped here on a quest for lunch after a spin at the outlet mall just up the road. We sat down, was greeted quickly and had our orders taken even quicker. The turn around time for the food is a bit slow, but nothing awful. Since it’s Saturday, cheese pizza is half price. We ordered that, along with beer nuggets as an appetizer. The beer nuggets were absolutely fantastic, and the pizza is as well. I think we’ll be back the next time we are in the area.

Went there for dinner last night around 8. The first thing I noticed was how many empty tales there were for a Friday night. We were greatedvby a waitress rather quickly and we were given 3 menus for 5 people. The food came quickly except for mine. .I had quesidillas. My food came around 3 minutes later and they were soggy. I sent them back and they quickly returned with a new plate. The waitresses were seated at a table nearby drinking and eating instead of working. Not a good experience

Decided to check this place out on Sunday July 13th. Went in and there was 1 waitress/bartender. They have a beer tap that shows Miller lite but didn’t have any so I took the bottle of Miller Lite. Ordered food, took quite some time, especially since the place was pretty empty. When other people left their tables were still dirty with plates and cups on them since there was no one there to clean. The food was bland, the burger was just meat, no flavor to it, and my girlfriend got the wrong bun on her burger. And the best part was they advertised 10% off but did not apply that to the bill. With as many bars are out there I will not be going to this one again.

I can’t even give this place a single star. We used to frequent it 2 to 3 times a week until my best friend was physically assaulted unprovoked by a bartender one night this week. She spent the first hour we were there puking in the bathroom, then came out and recognized us, hung out with us, then snapped. He has physical bruises that have been photographed and will be given to police. The night of the incident we refused to press charges. But have since gone back and we’re treated like garbage even though, we be nice that night. Let’s just say, they’ll be getting our lawsuit papers next week.

I cannot believe that the hostess asked us if we wanted a naked picture of some girl for a donation of five bucks. I was there with my husband, my daughter, her husband and MYTWO very young GRANDAUGHTERS. Really tasteless gesture there sweetheart. Will NOT be back again!

Went there for the first time last night– so disappointed– while the service was good, the food was not. Pizza was absolutely horrible– staying at home and eating a frozen Jacks pizza would have been more satisfying. Don’t put your money in the dartboard, because it doesn’t work properly. Did observe the owner hitting on clientele as opposed to making sure the place was being run right. Oh, and they don’t accept the Unilocal50% off check in pizza discount either. Will not return, and would not recommend this place to anyone-sorry.

Ok place for games. Mixed crowd which is cool. We used to come here at least a few times a week. Hate to paint with a broad brush here but service is horrible. Wife and I sat down wasn’t that crowded… waited 15min and NOONE came over to ask if we needed menus; drinks etc. So we up and left. Funny thing the owner was 2 tables over saw us and did nothing! While the owner is visible don’t expect him to come around and greet his patrons or help out in ANY way. Now to the food: inconsistent and steadily going down hill. Pizza used to be good when they opened now you’re better off ordering dominos and having it delivered to JJ’s. If ordering the Philly Steak it doesn’t come with cheese but instead some disgusting horsey sauce. Now the bruschetta, buffalo chicken wrap, sante fe chicken salad, angry burger, eggplant parm all solid choices. While there really isn’t any competition close(North of 88) this is not my first place to choose for food or hanging out. This place needs to figure out what it wants to be, sports bar, dance club, underage hangout. I love all kinds of music but my god it doesn’t need to be blasting to the point you cant hold a conversation with the people at your table. Guys please get your act together and focus on your customers…

Here’s a play-by-play of what happened the evening my friends and I came here for a Blackhawks game: +3: You’ll probably have to park in the back on game days, but there’s a nice big parking lot. –8: There were«no menus available» when we were seated. –3: The TV by our table wasn’t working because the owner’s kid was playing xbox on it earlier. +10: There were plenty of large TVs scattered throughout the venue. +8: The boys ordered the beer of the month for $ 2– and liked it. –9: We had to steal food menus from a nearby table so we could put in food orders. +7: The owner fixed the TV and bought us a round for crawling on our table for half an hour –6: Our waitress was impossible to flag down. –24: My vodka soda was served to me sans carbonation and garnish. I asked our waitress to check if she put in the order incorrectly or if all their club soda is just flat. –47: A server(the owner’s son?) kicked my seat. I almost fell off and he didn’t even react. +11: The garlic cheesy pizza was yummy. Ask for a side of marinara sauce! –5: The batter on the fish and chips was soggy and unappetizing. –2: All condiments came in one-time-use plastic containers with lids. –300: The waitress came back and said that all their sodas are flat and that I should just drink vodka with water because«that’s how I take it.» –400: Said waitress walked around with our credit card for a good 20 minutes before she decided to swipe it and hand over receipts. +253: Hawks win! Total score: –532 Unfortunately, nothing was made up and the points do matter. Sorry, JJ’s.

We get a table, and wait nearly 20 – 25 minutes for someone to get us menus. I pick up menus from a neighboring table that was done ordering. We finally get service, and it takes nearly another 20 – 25 minutes for the drinks and appetizers to get back to us. One of my friends’ drink gets screwed up, waitress plays dumb which did not make anyone any happier. The TV right in front of our table was out so we were not able to watch our Blackhawks play the Red Wings. We did get a free pitcher of beer though. The fish and chips were not too exciting, honestly it fells apart way too easily. As you can sense I was not too thrilled with this place, but the waitress really killed any possibility for me to come back. On top of the consistently substandard service, I missed the winning goal because I was trying to tell her that we were not happy with her service. I probably spent more time flagging her down than I did watching the game. Her service was so bad I actually walked our credit cards over to the counter to be swiped because I just did not want to be there anymore even though our Blackhawks just won and ELIMINATED the Red Wings. Oh, did I mention I missed the winning goal because I was trying to tell her that we were not happy with her service? Probably not enough times. Bad service, average food, loud/rowdy environment, typical sports bar, stupid Red Wings fan hollering.

We met 2 friends here since it was a halfway point between us, and one thing I noticed on a Thursday evening was how dead this place was. The location is spacious with lots of tables and bar seating, this space is too big for its’ britches. Our burgers were good, everyone seemed satisfied with their food. I had the Angry Jack burger, but the grilled jalapeño(they left the seeds in!) was too hot for me, I could feel the skin of my teeth burning. They also have a $ 5 burger special on Thursdays for 1⁄3 lb. burgers, as well as specials on domestic drafts and well drinks. There’s a special every day of the week, and they’re actually solid options like 50 cent wings, half price pizzas, cheap beer, etc. I also had a rum runner, which was really good, but we waited an unreasonably long time for drinks. And everything else. Slow in delivering drinks and our food, and increasingly slow inbetween. We didn’t get napkins or silverware either until we asked. The service here needs some polishing. Honestly, if I were in this area again, I’d prefer to go someplace else. Food is satisfactory. Service needs work.

Went here for some food and drinks with some friends. The food was sub-par for pub food. We had a pizza, which looked and tasted like a frozen one. Wings and other appetizers were nothing to write home about. Had to send a couple beers back because they smelled funky. Turns out it was the cups that smelled funky. Total buzz kill. Reasonably priced, but I don’t think I’d come back.

The set-up they had for their live entertainment was a bit crowded, but the place was packed for the country band we saw. Their garlic and olive oil pizza was delicious, and their drink specials were pretty stellar. I had a great time here, and the fact that it was a stone’s throw away from my apartment building was pretty awesome, too!

This is not a place to go on a Sunday for football. The service is awful(20 minutes after ordering a pitcher I received… empty water glasses), there is a strong chance if you are watching a game outside of the Bears it will be changed(and then upon identifying the situation… the bar owner told my group to move and he would set us up on a different t.v.), and the food isn’t good. Don’t waste your time.

Was here on a Sunday afternoon 10÷7÷12 to watch Da Bears! This is the first and Last time I come to this place! morning games were on and we were waiting for the Bears to start. Then the Bears started and Morning game stayed on all the screens as well as the sound. Then minutes pass by and Bears game on 1 tv. The big screens you could barely see the players. U had to watch on the smaller screens. It was getting frustrating. We were a group of 6 waiting to just leave this experience. Then they finally changed the tvs. I ordered ribs basket, meat was so tough i thought i was chewing gum. Was gonna try the cole slaw, had no utensils. My fingers were all soaked, no napkins! Wtf! I was still hungry due to the small portions We ordered nfl nachos. They came out n looked good. Once in your mouth, not good. Cheese was watered down!!! Hopefully my stomach doesnt go crazy! Only one waitress dealing with a bunch of tables. This experience, the worst. I would Not recommend this place on NFL Sunday!!!

There is a Skee Ball machine in this bar! Sold. Note: only takes quarters so start collecting! Open atmosphere, good service, live music. Lots of big tables available if you’re coming with a group. But seriously, the skee ball machine is key. And I will keep returning for this fact alone!

Great atmosphere for sports fans. Huge TVs in every corner surrounded by many smaller ones everywhere you look. The servers are friendly and casual. Tony is a riot. The games are fun… but don’t play beer ball if you have an addictive personality! The food is really good. These guys know what good tasting bar food is all about. Oh, and the other great thing about this place is the beer selection. They have like 20 beers on tap. Great, friendly bartenders serving ya, too. Highly recommended… especially for sports fans.

This place is actually pretty fun! I thought the prices weren’t too bad and the food was great! My girlfriend had a garlic and olive oil cheese pizza which was very good and I had a bleu cheese burger. I liked their fries and the burger wasn’t too bad. And they had lots of TV’s and a large projection in the middle of the bar. So great for sports games! They had live music the night I was there, country cover band, and the sound was excellent! There were people of ALL age groups and everyone seemed to be having as good of time as the group I was with. I will be returning to JJ’s and I am not sure if it was just a special that Saturday night or what, but any bar that has $ 2.50PBR tall boys gets a special warm spot in my heart!

I’m giving Prime TIme 3 stars because I haven’t had the food. My husband and I stopped by on our way home from a dinner out without the baby. My first impression was that it was a typical sports bar. Tons of TVs and a lot of people were wearing jerseys. I liked that 1. they had Woodchuck on tap! 2. there were purse hooks under the bar 3. everyone there was looking to have fun, have a beer(or other alcoholic beverage) and enjoy the game, not just«get wasted!».

The food was ok. The service was odd, the waitress was chatty and helpful at first which I like, but then I had to ask for the check 4 times over the course of a hour before she«had time» to bring it to me. Then after I left, and paid her cash with a significant tip, she had the nerve to tell my friends that I stiffed her! We went there for a Bears game and there were way too many Packers fans there, so the bar had dueling football games going on. When I go out to a bar to watch a Bears game, I want to be with Bears fans. I won’t be going back, nothing special here. Update: ok I did go back :-P. The good was ok and it was more fun, no annoying Packers fans.
