Laid back atmosphere. Friendly, courteous staff. Great tasting Soyuz Stout. Great location.

Listen… the term diamond in the rough is the perfect way to explain this place. Nestled between a 7 – 11 and a coin laundry is «Launch Pad Brewery»…let me tell you, it’s amazing!

I tried out Launchpad on a weekday. They had a large selection of beers and the taster tray was very reasonably priced. I really appreciated the pricing on the taster tray, because when I go to a new brewery I like to taste everything to see what I like/don’t like, so having the full range of beers at a reasonable price(some breweries charge an arm and a leg) was refreshing. The beer wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. They had a lot of different things, but nothing that just put me over the top. I wouldn’t mind going back again for a pint or two, but it’s out of the way from where I live, and the beers were about average. Their service was quick, and our server was attentive and made sure we were doing alright. The décor of the building is really neat though. It has the garage bay doors, and the decorations are very military focused with it being right by the base.

As a wise man once said… DAYUMM!!! THISPLACEISDOOOPE!!! Ahem, pardon me. What I am trying to convey is that this is probably the best brewery we have tried this year, if not to date. It’s close to us, which is great that there is now a few choices available. But proximity be damned if the beers ain’t good. And their beers ain’t good. They’re bloody fantastic! One thing that stood out is that they don’t have the hoppy IPA selections that run rampant through Colorado breweries. Don’t get me wrong, IPA is typically my go-to, but I love to see a place do their own thing. One thing that really impressed me was the Belgium, which I normally dislike greatly. Mark suggested it in our flight, and I’ll be gosh-darned if I didn’t go right ahead and order a full glass. Wow. And the brown is something that needs to be tried. It’s been a long time since I tasted a brown that blew me away. Had to fill a growler with it, you understand, right? Mark, by the way, gets my vote for best damn brew-tender in town. Never have I enjoyed the service so much. Give that guy a raise, whomever is in charge. DOIT! There is nothing bad to say about Launch Pad, I cannot wait to come back here! Cheers!!!

Can I just tell you how very excited I was to see that a brewery opened so close to the house? Can I then also tell you how excited I was when we visited it and it was freaking awesome?! I found Launch Pad on Unilocal with nothing but amazing reviews so of course we had to check it out. The brewery is in a strip mall. The interior is pretty typical of breweries, open, garage doors and beer brewed where you can see it. Please don’t misunderstand, this isn’t a complaint at all. I feel comfrotable in this environment, it helps my beer zen. They have the start of a pretty awesome sticker wall. It was cool to see how many other breweries had visited already. We were greeted by Mark who might be one of the friendliest people I have ever met. He was very welcoming and offered fantastic knowledge of the beer and great conversation. We started off with a flight of buff brown, patriot pale, peacekeeper porter, red rocket rye, soyuz stout and the bt-x-1. We liked every single one of them and that’s pretty rare for us. We followed it up with a couple of pints. Jeff had the Belgium which says something about how great the beer is because Jeff is not a fan of the Belgium. I had a trippel. Though not one we had in our flight, by this point I would drink anything Mark handed to me and be happy about it. I wasn’t dissapointed. We even brought home a growler of the brown(secret, it didn’t last long). I am beyond impressed with the quality of beer here at this fledgling brewery and am REALLY looking forward to what the future will bring… in the form of beer for my face!

I really like several of the beers they offer here. They have a good variety to please a wide array of tastes. They can get pretty busy, even on a weekday, but if you are a fan of craft beers make this one of your must visits. They don’t serve food, so BYO or order from a restaurant nearby. My only complaint about this place is it’s across town and hard for me to get to on a regular basis.

Paid Launch Pad a visit on my most recent trip to visit my fam in Aurora(before the blizzard woo hoo) and i’m always keeping an eye out for new microbrews in the area, and was glad i made it out to this one. Thanks for the tip on letting me know it was behind 7⁄11 fellow Unilocalers it made it easy to find. Because when in Rome… you gotta try them all, and that is exactly what i did, tried all the beers they had on tap. This place makes my inner space geek giddy with their theme, also had the pleasure of talking to Dave about beer and space and its a small world considering where we both work for a living(just different states). Anyway he was nice enough to share some of the yet to be released barley wine with us, and was i ever grateful! Thanks for quenching my thirst while visiting the area, i will definitely stop by when i’m back in the area for Christmas!

Launchpad is like the Cheers of Aurora. Great atmosphere, great people, great beer, and the environment you would expect for a true American establishment… Full of hardworking, America loving, beer drinkers. Many people complain about the location but it adds to the luster of this Aurorian gem. If anything the location keeps the hootie tootie hipsters who claim to know what life and beer is about, with no life experience to back anything up and the work ethic of a sloth, away. Recommendation: try all the beers. A few times. Then strap on your adventurous panties and start mixing them. You will be impressed the additional flavor so you can pull out with this approach. Not sure your tastebuds can steer you? Ask the staff for a recommendation. They know the secrets.

I’ve been here about six times now And have tried about half of the beers on tap. It is a very solid brewery and the staff are very accommodating. They also have food trucks on Friday and Saturday nights so that is a plus. I was surprised to find something like this in this part of Aurora but nice surprise!!! Definitely step by here if you’re in the area it’s well worth it. It’s kind of hard to see from the street but it is in the strip mall on the corner of Kentucky/Buckley right behind the 7 – 11. Awesome brewery stop in!!!

Any brewery that pops up in Aurora peaks my interest. I read this one was open, and wondered how I could have missed it. I decided to seek it out and drove past it twice, before realizing that you cannot see it from the street, due to it being directly behind a 7 – 11. Location and lack or signage aside, this is a nice little brewery. I admit it doesn’t look like much from the outside(in fact it looks like a mechanics garage), and the inside is small, but the beer that they are turning out is wonderful. I had the Soyuz Stout. Russian Imperial stouts are usually not my thing, but this one was so flavorful I will be back for more. The staff was extraordinarily knowledgeable and helpful. They offered to let me taste a few beers before making my decision. I will return again, but I hope they get a sign soon so more people can find this hidden gem… on second thought maybe I can keep it all to myself.

This is a very good brewery. The staff is great and the owner actually spends time with many of the patrons. I love the small business vibe and the fact it is prior-military owned. They’re always putting out new beers. I actually bought a membership which comes with additional benefits and discounts. Thanks guys!

In a city saturated with incredible breweries, Launch Pad is a gem worth trying. These guys are the real deal. I tried the Voyager Vanilla Cream Ale & Soyuz Stout(Russian Imperial Stout). I highly recommend both.

Gotta love new breweries popping up in Aurora, or really any place outside of Denver! It’s a little hard to find as it is not visible from the street(blocked by a 7-eleven right in front of it), but well worth the search! There is plenty of seating inside, high ceilings, and a nice friendly ambiance. The owner’s wife chatted with us for a long time and was super inviting and upbeat! The beers were pretty good — being a new brewery i’d like to give them a little time to iron out any sort of brewing kinks that may have come up when we visited! Either way, an awesome addition to the neighborhood and I will certainly be back!

This place is absolutely wonderful! I have been here many times and enjoy the atmosphere and the people running it. The owner(Dave) has done a wonderful job in making sure that it is a laid back place to enjoy great beer and in good fashion. Not only this he has stayed true to his military persona by displaying the great banners and patches from local and out of state military units. If you like craft beer this is definitely a place to go if you are from town or out of town. You will not be disappointed!

What a fantastic new startup brewery. I love the style of the place, a converted auto repair shop and they kept the garage doors! Great tasting beer!

Pretty good, mind the location. The main problem with Launch Pad Brewery is that you can’t see it from the street since there’s a 7 – 11 right in the way. However, that problem aside, I walked in and found the brewery to be nice and neat, and the staff really friendly. Plus, the extension of beers available is impressive, and very, very tasty. I do have to take a star off because they have no relation to Launchpad from the Ducktales cartoon. Heh. Otherwise, a great brewery, once you find it. :D

Clearly, Candy H. does not understand American History… reading is tricky. This place is fantastic. It is supportive of ALL lifestyles(not that this should matter as an American business, since our troops fought for the right to have alternative opinions). The beer was great, the service was great, and the fact that it is veteran owned and operated is better than great. They offer a military discount and I would HIGHLY recommend this place.

So happy to have another brewery close by that has good beer! We had a flight minus IPA’s. They were all very good. I’m partial to wheat beer so that was my favorite. My husband really enjoyed the stout. The bartender Victoria was very friendly. We had a nice talk with her about beers. Very happy that they are here!

I’m here on opening day, 7÷24÷15, and I’m truly thrilled that they’re here. This part of town needed a good brewery, and launchpad has definitely filled the void. The owners are very nice, informative, and make great beer! Launchpad will be a great boon for local eateries as well, since nothing goes better with good food than good beer!
