I am writing this review for Marvin Reeves and Mile High RetroFoam because Marvin is a good, honest man. I called them after hearing an ad on Colorado Public Radio because I have a very old house and a cold living room. He came to my house and deduced that my house is solid brick, with no place to insert his foam product – except possibly in one area in the coldest corner where there is a window seat, hollow sounding walls and cedar shingles on the outside. Long story short, Mr. Reeves and his son brought their truck and trailer to my house, drilled a hole under the window seat portion, and determined that it was built in a way that their product wouldn’t do me any good. He charged me NOTHING for the trip and their trouble(they patched the hole, and would have painted over it if I had let them). I don’t remember the last time I had anyone not charge me at least a trip fee. So – I can’t speak to the quality of the product, but I can speak to the quality of the man. Based on that, I would certainly recommend Mile High RetroFoam and Marvin Reeves, the owner.
