Hmmmmm… kinda dirty, not set up well. The workers sitting at the bar eating when you walk in. The pay station near the front looks like a storage room. Haven’t had hibachi there but not sure I want to. Actually nothing really to draw me back unless my craving for sushi is so dire that I force myself through the door and explain what Nigiri is. THATSRIGHT! I went in and asked about the Nigiri and the girl said«Whats that?» ha. So anyway, Ive just ordered sushi a few times and though tastes ok, not a great value, kinda overpriced for sure. When you get like 2 rolls and NI… gi…ri…(that fish on rice peeps) for like 40 $ and don’t even come close to filling up… maybe not a great draw. Not horrible. Not great. So just ok and fills the void if needed. But what a great location to want to be average. ok. just ok. Use the Vacuum people. WHEN I LEFT I THOUGHT: How can someone at a Japanese restaurant not know what Nigiri is? Wow.

My family has been eating here enjoying the Hibachi dinner for special occasions. The food is consistently yummy and they are super accommodating of my shrimp allergy, cooking it after the rest of the food. My kids beg to visit for their birthdays and we always go on New Years Eve.

I took my wife here on her birthday and she loved it. The hibachi experience was great. For dinner we ordered the steak and shrimp plate. We also ordered a few sushi rolls as appetizers. Everything was delicious. I’d def recommend it.

Sushi rolls were incredible! Very good price and quality. Pleased with the service, odd, we had at least for different servers! Everything felt rushed! Every employee seemed to be in a hurry. We tried their desserts… My wife got the tiramisu(her favorite), and I got the chocolate mousse. They both appear store bought! They are very small round items that look exactly the same, just different colors! I added a picture for reference. Certainly recommend the food, just not sure about the dessert for the price!

One word for their sushi: WOW. The best in town for rolls!

I love Mt. Fuji! The staff is ALWAYS very attentive and friendly. Over the years, I have noticed that there has not been much turnover in staff, and that always tells me something about a business. The sushi & rolls are excellent. Service is pretty fast. The hibachi is always a fun time once in a while. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Southlands. I thought about giving it 4 stars because it does seem a tad pricy, but honestly I don’t have anything to compare it to — I haven’t been to any other hibachi places in town. In my opinion, the service and food is worth the price.

Disclaimer my review spans years of visits. I have been here on and off for about 10 years. Until last night I have only ever gotten the Sushi. They are consistent in quality. I’d say they are about even with other sushi places for price. Nothing is overly inventive but like I said they are consistant. We went for the hibachi dinner last night. Fun was had by all. I got the shrimp and chicken and my husband the steak and chicken. We both agreed the steak and chicken were good but the shrimp was the star. They did an excellent job of searing the shrimp and getting just the right glaze on them. Their fried rice is flavorful and delicious and the veggies perfectly grilled. A great date night place! We will likely be returning more for sushi than hibachi, but I can honestly recommend this place ad service and food have remained of good quality all these years!

Been wanting to try this place but since the dinner menu is pricier than most, my daughter and granddaughter decided to go for lunch instead. We got some sushi for appetizers and a hibachi chicken and tempura udon for lunch. The spider roll was weird – lettuce in it?!? The Alaska roll was quite tasty though. What can I say about the entrees? The chicken on the hibachi lunch tasted like that Oscar Meyer pre cooked chicken in the package – a weird processed taste. The plate was entirely colorless – nothing green or, to be honest, appetizing. The udon bowl was huge, but all of the tempura was on the side. The stock was unusually fishy with a lot of the fake crab that I hate. My daughter complained about the chicken but the manager(?) didn’t seem to care. The only good thing about that $ 60 lunch was the waiter. He was awesome. Felt sorry that he had to work there.

Sea bass was amazing along with the sushi. Went with coworkers couple of times and sat at the bar. Bartenders are great & friendly. Definitely recommend this place to anyone for delicious food & relaxing atmosphere.

This is one of my brother in law’s favorite place to go but boy, the hibachi was just disappointing. I have been here several times and I would give the sushi 4 stars, no issue there. I tried the hibachi for the first time yesterday and it was so salty. The rice, noodle and the tofu were all salty. It would have been more palatable if I ordered white rice but I didn’t. Anyways, it was a waste of money and the food.

This was tons of fun! Love Hibachi, and the skills of the chefs never cease to impress me! Got broccoli in my face(technically I did catch it with my mouth. sort of) and almost singed eyebrows(yes, I do exaggerate), and it was quite the show. When it came to the food itself my biggest complaint is «how are you supposed to eat fried rice with chopsticks??» other than that it was a great meal, and it was plenty of it. I’ll be back. whenever i’ll be back in CO!

Way overpriced for what it was, service was inattentive and the rice used for sushi was old and mushy. Beware of paying $ 10 for two pieces of toro, it’s frozen, not fresh! The noodle soups were not well balanced, the tempura was gummy from too much flour. A place to not bother return to, go to Monsoon across the street.

This is my new favorite place! I love everything about it! The food is great my partner had the steak and shrimp hibachi and I of course had sushi. The service was very nice. The servers don’t work by sections, they just all help each other which benefits the customer but gets a little tricky when tipping. I will be back!

The sushi here seems to be the freshest. Is that a word? Well, it is now. We ordered one of their boats, cute little thing, just enough sushi for two, plenty of sashimi and the rolls are nicely proportioned, good selection too. Overall clean place and friendly staff. Haven’t tried the hibachi there but from the looks of it, the grill masters or whatever you want to call them can show you a good time!

Awesome portions at a reasonable price. The salmon rice is a unique fried rice that pleasantly surprised me! Out of the ordinary and very good! You’ll only need one order of it to happily feed a family of four. The shrimp tempura could have used a bit more seasoning but overall, I will be coming back again!

I had been past this place many times without a thought of stopping in, but the lure of sushi finally hooked me. The décor is pleasant and I was put at ease to see all members of the wait staff without customers were cleaning. The sushi was average. I enjoyed the spicy tuna roll. It was actually spicy. The rest of the rolls were OK, but just. The service was spectacular. I may give this place another shot and go for the hibachi.

My girlfriend and I were looking for a bite to eat before our movie. We walked by Mt. Fuji and thought it looked inviting so we gave it a try. The main dining area was pretty busy for an early Saturday afternoon. I had the Passion Fruit Mojito to drink, which was pretty good and my girlfriend an iced tea. We ordered the Godzilla Rolls, Spicy Scallop Rolls, Wasabi Caviar Rolls and Octopus Rolls. My favorite was the Wasabi Rolls and my girlfriends was the Spicy Scallop. Very flavorful and everything tasted fresh. Service was very good from start to finish. The only negatives I have is it was pretty warm in the main dining area almost to uncomfortable and when I used the restroom there were boxes and trash stacked up by the exit door, which seemed a bit unprofessional and not something you would expect to see in a busy restaurant.
