Brought my teens here for dinner, it’s right next to Panera which is one of our favorite go to places for«fast» food. Tired of their shrinking portions and increasing prices I suggested Pockets. I had seen it before and wanted to try it. They reluctantly agreed. I usually get soup and salad everywhere, They were out of their soup of the day(it was about 40 mins before closing). I got their chicken chili, huge portion. I couldn’t finish it, and both girls sampled it too. We all agreed it was really good. I wasn’t offered cheese or onions but saw on the menu it was available. Side salad for me with Greek dressing, very good. Fresh. Also came with a «pocket». Their wheat bread, delicious. My girls split the 10″ BBQ pizza, they grumbled a little about it being on wheat crust, they both admitted that they liked it after all. We agreed we would all return another time.

Nice healthy alternative. Great flavor, especially the bread. Wish I could find out where they get it from. Never had their calzone but my son in law loves it.

Don’t see the appeal. We tried this a while back and got the calzones. Service was not friendly and it was awkward waiting ages for our food! Like more then 30 minutes. It seemed like more then an hour. We were just watching everyone eat and when we finally ate it wasn’t all that great. And the food is really pricey too. My boyfriend’s cousin doesn’t like them either, wish we would have known.

This is place was a huge disappointment. Basically Subway on a pita. Everything was bland and a waste of $ 25. Do yourself a favor and eat at any of the casual dining restaurants right next door. Panera, Jimmy John’s, Chipotle.

When I first walked in this place, it felt like I was walking in to a Subway restaurant. It just has a different menu with almost same ingredients. Service? Subway it’s a little better. I felt rushed, and I felt he didn’t even want me to be there to begin. The food really wasn’t that good and for a pocket sandwich I paid almost 10 dollars. Not worth it.

Pockets had been the first place I wanted to visit ever since I got off the plane. This was because I missed it. There is no Pockets in NEWYORK! Yes, there’s plenty of good food in the Big Apple but for me nothing beats food back home. I was really excited to grab a bite of that mouthwatering Original Turkey Pocket full of crispy lettuce, juicy tomatoes, fresh ranch, mozzarella cheese and savory turkey slices. Mmm… mmmm… just thinking about it made my mouth water. Why oh why can’t I forget it. Maybe it is full of flavor. Maybe it is fresh. Or maybe I just grew to love pockets.

It’s fresh, which is always good so it gets stars for that. Skimpy portions of veggies. I remember getting way more veggies in the past. Really slow getting you food. Not kinda slow — REALLY slow! While we waited for food, they had three people on the line to make our two pockets.(I have no idea why) Two people walked in and waited for service. After not being acknowledged, they walked out and I saw them walk over to Panera. People making our pockets were too involved in their personal conversation to notice the potential customers or care that they left. Not really impressed with their customer service. It’s too bad. I remember when they opened and the owner was involved and really excited to be there. Last couple of times I’ve been in, it’s the same group of employees running things — seems like things have slipped. Probably won’t be running back there anytime soon.

I decided to go to Pockets because I wanted a small pizza and after my husband told me that he saw the restaurant online I thought it might be perfect for what I was craving. It was 8:22pm and Unilocal said it was open until 9pm. Since I only live 2 minutes away I thought it would be no problem to pickup something quick. When I got to Pockets before 8:30pm it was already closed. There are no signs on the door to tell you the store hours… if the time has changed. I was not happy about this at all. They need to update their store hours.

You’re better off eating at Panera or Chipotle! We paid $ 40 for 2 kids meals, a garden salad, a half pocket, two potatoes and some drinks. We could have all eaten at Chili’s up the street for the same price and the service would have been much, much better! It took over a half an hour for us to get our food. We were the only customers when we walked in. Several other customers came in, ordered and left with their food after we came in. The staff never said anything or apologized for the slow service. The food was average at best. The potatoes were under-cooked and the salad I had wasn’t anything special. You can get the same salad at Subway for half the price and it only takes a few minutes to prepare. We will never eat here again, and we encourage anyone that’s considering eating here to consider one of the other nearby restaurants instead.

Normally I love Pockets, and have for years. Ive disregarded the price increases since they were $ 5ea because its good, healthy food. I recently went to the Orchard Rd location and was thoroughly disappointed with the portions. Got 2 pockets to-go and got home to find 2 salads that were 1.5 cups each. Seriously? Either the guy making them just didnt care, or the owner is just getting very cheap. Its lettuce and vegetables. Between the salad and bread, whats the cost? $ 2 – 3 at the most? I called and spoke to a manager. He offered me a refund or new salads. I live 30 min away so i couldnt go back to the branch. He never did apologize or explain the tiny portions. I also emailed the owner. No response. It was a good run but youve lost my business. For $ 9, i can go to Freshii or Portillos and get more for my money. If you go to Pockets, watch them make it so they dont cheat you on your salad.

Everything was fresh, even though we went late on a Saturday night. My wife had a salad and soup-of-the-day, I had a Greek pocket. A little overpriced when they are going to give you the flimsiest cheapest plastic fork I’ve even used, to eat with. My advice: go for the food, but take your own utensils.

Not too bad if you’re looking for a quick alternative to fast food, but nothing special. they offer cold stuffed pockets which are decent and they offer hot pockets too, but be prepared to wait 15 mins if you want something hot. The salads are decent but a little bit expensive. I would rather spend the same amount of money on Panera 2 doors down. This place is by no means bad, just nothing great. Do have a lot of healthy options if that’s what you’re looking for.

If you like the food here, but you are fed up with the service, there is a fantastic pockets just a short drive away on Farnsworth. There is a different owners, dedicated staff, some additional options and far, FAR superior service.

Pockets was a great alternative to Panera for lunch today. I ordered a salad, but I’m not sure what the difference between the salads and pockets are. The salad came with a half round of bread which my guess is similar to a pocket. I ordered the taste of Italy that came with everything delicious in life. I like that you can create your own pocket, salad, etc which I will have to try in the future. My only complaint is the size of the salad dressing. My salad came with a very small container of vinaigrette whereas my company’s salad came with a larger size dressing. Luckily, the friendly employees were happy to give me another, but I think they should make the containers equivalent. Overall, this place has a really cool concept and an adorable kangaroo mascot!

Pockets is my go-to place for an amazingly tasty Greek salad. The southwest calzone is extremely tasty as well!

I prefer panera but it is a healthier and quick lunch option for fast food. You can get pizza, salad, or sandwich. It’s all natural and on whole wheat bread. You can make your own which is nice. Not the best taste wise but it’s ok.

Just like sign says. Good fresh fast food. Had greek salad. Fresh ingredients. Tasty dressing. Warm bread. Delivered to table in about 3 mins. Friendly service. Will come again.
