Not bad… but not great… for tortas I’d go across town to Taco Grill and Salsa Bar, for Burritos I’d head north to El Taco Grande. … but for tacos Primos is pretty decent. There was a noticeable difference in the(better) tacos they serve off the grill outside and the(passable but dry) tacos served inside when I stopped in last night. At $ 1.50 a taco they were well worth the money and I’ll probably be back — but only because they are up the street from my gym and it’s really convenient. The chicken tacos were good, the pork belly tacos were really good, but the pastor and asada were so over cooked that I couldn’t tell the difference between them. The saving grace is that they don’t blast their meat with cheap oil when they heat it(which, with some spicy salsa, is why most cheap Mexican food wrecks people the next day) … so, even though the food wasn’t great at least I can walk straight the next day.
