Remote Control Hobbies – Smoky Hill

I have been shopping here since they opened a few months ago. These guys are awesome. Their knowledge of RC is great. They have always been able to answer our questions about our RC’s. We own Losi and Traxxas, and they carry an extensive part inventory for both, the most extensive I have found in the Denver area. They are always friendly and helpful, even doing some minor labor work, like soldering some connectors for me, for free. In fact, we ran into three of the guys from here at an RC track and skate park a few weeks ago, and when something happened to one of our vehicles, they quickly offered to take a look and fix it. It was their day off and they were bashing on their own, but still were willing to give a little customer service.
Family owned and run, great staff and more knowledge of RC than I have found anywhere else. If that isn’t enough, you get greeted by Sage, one of the sweetest black Labs I have ever met. This is my RC shop.

Customer service was non existent!
When your son opens up a present and says «Dad, don’t think it is for me» and you go to return it and they say, «Sorry, mate’. I can’t accept it back because I lose money».
We know who they are looking out for, certainly not the consumer…
In retail, as a consumer you can return anything with a receipt and as long as it is in good working condition. Not the case here… if you buy it but change your mind for any reason you are stuck.
They won’t be in business long with that kind of attitude.
Any other retailer in the business of dealing with consumers doesn’t act this way. Just think of all the returns/​exchanges you made after Christmas and how many told you «no». The only one is this store!
The price of a bad experience in terms of lost sales is tremendous.
With social media how many people do you think I will tell about my lousy experience?
Unfortunately, for them too many!
You may have saved your $ 80 but you certainly lost your reputation! Too bad you are penny wise but so pound foolish!
How many consumers can you afford to piss off?
