Nope. Husband waited in drive through for about 20 minutes and we got cold, partially raw tacos out of the deal at $ 2.50 a pop. Tacos y Salsas is better for the money and authenticity. I’m guessing the«rusty» part of the name is they haven’t made a damned taco in years and are getting their bearings on it back? Rusted out cookware so everything is microwave? Just go somewhere authentic.

Rusty Taco, we love you but please get it together! My fiancé and I go to Rusty regularly because you have great flavors at an affordable price. We probably spend between $ 100 – 200 a month on tacos, so it pains me that the service has been so lacking lately. I’ve recently waited 20 mins for 3 tacos, only to be told the shrimp grill was not working, and having to wait longer to end up with cold tacos. Tonight we went in around 6:30 and it seemed obvious that employees were trying to close early-a car was parked unattended in the drive through, and when I went in, many of the tacos I love were not available to complete my order(we had to order mostly vegetarian). Several customers after me were similarly frustrated, and the lady behind mw got shorted in change when she had to change her taco order to a less expensive vegetarian option as well. Communication seemed lacking as well since my chips and guac were set on a platter and not packaged with my to-go order.(I don’t believe the cashier communicated this to the server). Having worked in food service myself, I get that that last half hour is for prep time & clean up but it looks unprofessional when the drive through is blocked and employees are so under prepared for that last dinner rush. We love your tacos so much because of their taste and convenience, but recent experiences are making it not as worth it. It makes mw wonder if there has been a recent management change or something. A few simple changes in customer service could make a huge difference and create a better experience for all.

We love Rusty Taco! The food is great, portions are more than enough, and service is always polite. Sometimes they’re a little slow, but it’s because they make each taco to order. One of our favorite taco places!

Gross! I’m pretty sure that my husband and I both have food poisoning from this place. Our tacos were COLD by the time we got home(we live five minutes away), it seemed like they had been sitting under a heat lamp or something because they certainly weren’t fresh. I got a «crispy» fish taco — it wasn’t crispy at all, more like soggy fish taco. Barf. Anyway. It’s well into the next day, and I’m still suffering. Eesh.

It’s too bad the employees can’t get their act together here. The food is pretty good, but I’ve never waited so long for a beer and two tacos… with no one else in the restaurant. Turns out they forgot our order, then when the order did come out it was still a few more minutes until the beers followed. This used to be one of out favorite places, but after a few similar experiences, we’re done here.

I am in the vicinity and take lunch in diff places every day. Rusty T was always attracting my sight, but i did not have a chance to go and try it out until now. Honestly this place actually exceeded my expectation, great menu, good service(!) Food was prepped timely and tasted absolutely great, not to mention reasonable prices. So, being said all this i would recommend visiting this place if you are on-the-go and get a «quickie» — i am talking about food of course 8))

Food is ok, but not worth waiting 30 minutes for, especially not when served Luke warm. With better trained staff and more of them, it could be much better.

AVOID the drive thru. I have been in line now for over 15 minutes and there are still 2 cars in front of me. That means in the last 15 minutes, they have served ONE car. When I FINALLY got to the window after 20 minutes, my tacos were«almost finished», so I left without the food. There was NOESCAPE from 20 minutes in the drive thru line. If I had had the courtesy of a warning that they were not planning to serve lunch I would have LEFT… It’s not like the walkin, where you can leave. Horrible customer service

If I could give less I would. I’ve never seen such poor service consistently for the last 10 visits. I’ve come back because the manager has apologized thoroughly and has urged me to come back. I’ve watched a dozen or so cars get their drive through orders before me while I’ve been waiting for over half an hour for one taco. Thanks for wasting my work hour yet again with nothing to show for it.

Tucked in a little lot off of Havana, this taco joint is a pretty decent spot! This is my second time coming and unfortunately they were out of the rusty taco a second time. Oh well, I decided to try some of the other Tacos on the menu. Each Taco here is a creatively made combination of meats, veggies and a tortilla. Each one is $ 2 with some of them being a little more, but that’s affordable considering you can stuff yourself when tackling 3 or 4 of them! I decided to try the egg and bacon taco, the fried chicken taco, and the fish taco. The egg and bacon was kinda plain, nothing special. The fried chicken had the BEST ranch tucked underneath juicy, succulent chicken! And the fish taco came with a special spicy sauce that really helped my tastebuds enhance the fish flavor. Yum! I can say that this was a pretty sweet spot! Not a bad idea for lunch; it was pretty packed at that time too!

I give it 4 stars for the Texas style tacos(breakfast tacos are my favorite), but it falls to a 1 with the service. I have 5 check-ins, came in today to pick up breakfast tacos, had a free taco offer from a previous Unilocal check-in(yes, Unilocal allows you to use them later if you want, without an expiration date). I ordered what I wanted, and then I showed my Unilocal app on my phone, it had the redeem free taco offer now? displayed. I selected to use it and all I got was«I have to check with the manager.» After talking with the manager(I’m assuming he’s new and doesn’t appear to have a very friendly, customer focused demeanor) IMO, I was told they no longer honor Unilocal coupons. Even though my phone app had the«Use the offer now» displayed, I then discarded my offer. Hmmm. Now, I typically don’t write a review after one visit, in this case I waited and I’m glad I waited. I’ve run into this in the past, where you leave a great review on Unilocal, then something like ownership or management change, and viola, the service is horrible. So, I got no apologies at all, was just told we don’t honor Unilocal.Yelpers, remember you have the power to make or break a business, but don’t expect to receive your free taco(with purchase) offer if you go here any longer. So after I paid, I checked in again using my Unilocal app, and guess what? I got another Check in offer for a free with purchase taco! LOL. What a terrible customer experience. I didn’t bother showing the new offer to «management» figuring they wouldn’t care. I deleted my new check in offer, removed my Unilocal bookmark and will not be back. I loved the food, but with attitude of the management like this, it’s not worth my time to return. Unilocalers, expect high quality food, in a timely manner, but DONOT expect to be able to redeem your offer here!

I think 2.6 stars are appropriate. Pros: drive through window and somewhat speedy service. Price. Location: right next to my place of employment. The mild sauce was delicious. I have eaten the chicken fajita taco, need fajita taco, roasted or pulled pork, and black bean taco. The best one was the black bean. It was the biggest and packed the most flavor. The beef was too dry and tasteless. The pork was overly salty. The chicken was dry and tasteless. None of these tacos would have been worth eating if it weren’t for the loads of mild salsa they provided me with. This place is good if you want cheap fast convenient tacos that aren’t «fast food.» I got 4 tacos for 9.99. If it weren’t next door to my work i would probably never go again.

A little slice of Texas in Colorado! Artisan tacos of epic proportion!!! I recommend the pulled pork with pickled red onions & the BBQ Brisket Taco. I’m only giving 4 stars since the chips & queso aren’t on point. I think they have to microwave it when you order. It usually comes out at the end of your meal instead of the beginning… And the cheese goes back to its solid form b 4 you are finished eating it.

Wow!!! What a tasty surprise. In an area where most choices are chains, Rusty taco is a delicious find. Worth going out of your way for. Mom just said«this chicken one is seasoned really well»

I was in the Aurora area, near Jewell and Florida off Havana and I was feeling the pangs of hunger but was resisting fast food when I saw the sign R Taco — aka Rusty Taco. It just caught my attention and the fast casual atmosphere was appealing but I still had errands to run before the night was done so I chose the drive thru. I was so happy I decided to try their handmade tacos. Made with soft corn tortillas and priced in the $ 2 — $ 3 range with a varied selection. I selected the beef brisket and grilled fish taco. When I was asked for a type of sauce, I got 1 habanero and 1 rojo. I loved both the brisket(which was quite tender and appropriately seasoned and even had a bit of mango — I think) and the grilled fish taco which had the purple cabbage, which i prefer over the regular cabbage. I mixed the sauces about half and half and I really enjoyed the flavor and the fact that it was not some packet, rather it was a fresh made sauce that had some substance and really good flavor on both. I loved that they told me that the habanero was hot and it actually was spicy like you would expect!!! Thank goodness this place has been here a little more than a year as it means it may be around for a while! The only complaint I had was that they could have been warmer — despite being wrapped i a foil wrapper, they were not warm. It was a cold snowy night and I had places still to go so I didn’t come back to ask for a reheat.

The chips and salsa are good. Make sure you check in on Unilocal and you get a free taco.

My husband and I were looking for a spot to eat, so we figure we would go ahead and try it out. We went through the drive through and were impressed by the eccentricity of their tacos. Their combinations sounded delicious! We ordered two of the beef tacos(1), two fried chicken tacos, Baha shrimp taco, pulled pork taco, and chorizo nachos: we fell through here. The service was awesome and appreciated the kindness of the staff. We immediately pulled over to eat and started eating and were not impressed. The beef tacos and the pulled pork were beyond dry. The pork taco would appreciate a sauce… the dry cheese didn’t help the already dried meat. The chicken tacos and the shrimp taco were doused in sauce, so much so, it was uncomfortable to eat as a taco. I had to open and eat the meat by itself. The chorizo nachos were flavored well, but the chips very soggy. Overall, the ideas are awesome behind the tacos but the execution of the tacos failed to present itself. Good job on the customer service though. There is definitely much needed room for improvement.

Not sure if this place has new owners, or new manager, or what. It has turned to complete shit over the last six months or so! Terrible customer service. Food tastes like garbage. Shitty atmosphere! What happened to this place?!

After about a minute standing at the register, the girl stopped texting and noticed me. I loved rusty tacos but lets be honest. All of us use our phones while pooping, would you want someone texting in between making your food? Everyone was on their phone, no gloves at the food prep area. As i ate I watched a woman put her purse on the food prep table, pull out a wad of cash and give if to another woman before going back to prepping food. I loved Rusty Taco but dont love cholera or on the job drug deals. Sadly, i will not return.

I unfortunately have to agree with most other reviewers. This place is underwhelming. I hd three different tacos and just wasn’t blown away by any of them. I suggest the owner of this place take a trip to texas, specifically to Tacodeli in Austin, and do a comparison. Also the«brisket», is by no means brisket, it is like dry fajita meat… Tacos aren’t terrible, atmosphere was nice, staff was friendly. Just not impressed with the tacos. Again, for Aurora, not bad. Ive certainly had worse in Aurora. I think they could do better. Also why was my beef taco cold? Weird
