Tag Heuer

Purchased my tag calibre S perpetual here. the two staff girls were very helpful in description and functionality of every watch in the store makes you easy to decide which is to buy and which suit your taste.

Yesterday I visited the outlet mall for first time in like 5 years. I was very impressed with the service at this Tag outlet store as I walked in looking like a bum… baseball cap, sweats, t-​shirt and the lady at the counter still took a lot of time with me letting me try on a bunch of watches. I’ve been looking for a Tag or Rolex to buy for quite some time and the one Tag I wanted was selling for a good price at this outlet store with a full factory warranty so with her help I was able to purchase a beautiful Tag. Anyways I gave it a 4 star for the price and the helpful lady behind the counter. Needless to say I also made her happy with the sale :)

I will review as briefly as possible my experience with the staff at this location and the overall brand quality, workmanship and corporate customer service of Tag Heuer.
I drove an hour out from the city to visit this location. I was helped by a wonderfully bright and helpful young lady, of which I unfortunately do not recall her name. Everyone was pleasant. She in particular went above and beyond to take care of my needs and did it with a sense of poise and in an expeditious manner. It’s unfortunate my 1 star review doesn’t reflect her personal dedication to excellent customer service.
However, my $ 4000 Tag Heuer Carrera Day Date Calibre 16 Automatic waste a pure utter waste of my hard earned money. $ 4000 is a lot of money for most, probably 99% of the citizens of this country would agree it’s a LOT. I had long desired and saved for this watch. The Carrera Day Date is probably, in my opinion one of the most elegant and well designed timepieces, period. However, after 6 months of ownership the movement stopped. I sent it in for service and it came back a month later working fine. The service was covered under their two year warranty. Fast forward 2 more years and I am now 6 months back their «Two Year Factory Warranty» The repair center sent me an estimate of $ 400 + a bogus tax of $ 37 for a complete overhaul, to fix the issue that had occurred just 2 years earlier. I was hopeful that with the service history and based on the circumstances of the watch barely being out of warranty on what I believe to be a defective watch-​that I would receive some sort of accommodation or flexibility. I certainly didn’t expect some professional watchmaker in their New Jersey repair center to work for free. However, I did expect Tag to stand by their brand and accommodate my unique situation with some flexibility. Since you cannot contact Tag by any means outside of their #866 number or their written postal address, I was stuck talking to their customer service department whom showed no concern about this situation. They stated their policy, Tag does not accommodate anyone to any degree or capacity even if it is one day outside the warranty. A timepiece that I hoped to pass to my son and the generations to come while I grew my Tag Collection is basically a disposable bracelet that shows the time correct, twice a day. There’s a reason why you can’t find the contact info for any of Tag’s executive staff — let alone a single email address on their website or anywhere online. So my venting commences, here unfortunately.
And to really light a fire in me, they mistakenly charged and then refused to budge on the SALES TAX of my service. I unfortunately live in the same state as one of their boutique stores and for this reasoning it was explained I would be subject to sales tax on their service/​labor fees. Most people know that SERVICES are NOT subject to tax, i.e. Labor, Car Washes, Massage, Hair Cuts, REPAIRS & SERVICE. I asked for an itemized estimate with the parts and labor being separated so I would not taxed incorrectly. The response was a repeated no, that’s impossible along with expected negative attitude.
A $ 4000 watch shouldn’t need $ 500 in service every year, that’s a bad investment.
Save yourself the money and research what brands of watches offer higher quality craftsmanship and an equally adequate customer service department – both of which Tag Corporate does not provide.

This has been around for over 2 years. Not to mention that this is one of SEVEN Tag Heuer outlets in the country– right here in our own back yard. The next closest is in New York. The rest are in Florida, Vegas & California. Yet no one has review this place as of yet. Well let me do the honors. It’s not that big of a location but if you can get your Tag at 25−50% off and Tag is your thing, you might want to visit here. None of the items sold here are refurbished. All the products are brand spanking new– either overstock or discontinued. I dealt with a very nice woman, Samantha, who helped me with questions I had. She very very pleasant to speak with. The stock tends to rotate a bit. I’ve visited here a few times. Good selection of both men’s and women’s watches. I just wished I had the money so I could buy that Tag «Indy 500» (brick design) when I had the chance. Worth a visit. This store is one of the more popular among out of town visitors. The only thing I could think of that could ruin this store is some bad staff hiring, which as of now isn’t an issue.
