The owner is a sweetheart. Gave me free food just because. The bartenders are awesome, very attentive and fun! This will be my new laid back bar!

Stopped in the day after thanksgiving for a few drinks. Kayla was on the bar and was super nice. Great mixed drinks and friendly crowd. Can’t go wrong!

Had lunch here today — the food and service were very good by Meghan and Joseph. The street tacos were especially good. A cute place for lunch or a watch party!

Karaōke sucks. Don’t go. They have a 10 song selection. The owner is proud of it but I seriously searched through 15 songs befor I found one he had. The bar staff is awesome. Too bad the owner and son seem to be creeping on people there and the cute bartenders

Neat little bar, really reminded me of a modern day«Cheers» the owner helping out behind the counter, but mostly chit chatting with the patrons, seemed like everyone knew everyone yet it didn’t feel clique-ish. We stopped in here on the way home to Dallas from the Grand Tetons for my bachelor party. The bar owner bought us shots and chatted with us, very interesting guy! Don’t miss this little gem in its hideaway location nestled in a strip mall on a side street, well worth the visit! As it was my bachelor party, at the end of our visit we requested a cab called, to which the owner promptly rejected, opting to drive us himself!!!

Nice staff. Wish the beer selection was better curated and their chalkboard menu was updated. They had it pretty dim the Saturday evening I was there and even my corrected eyesight is not good enough to see the tap handles behind the bar. Food is meh. Think the party I was with had nachos and taquitos… Crowd was pretty drunk after 10pm, as was I. Everyone who talked to us or I talked to was genial.

I was there looking for a happy hour and came to The Hideaway based on location, plus they had a Unilocal deal on $ 10 for $ 20 to boot. My first order was a double tall whiskey & coke and the waiter/bartender poured a very healthy drink! That is hard to find sometimes and makes me happy that when I need a drink after work, I get one like I’d pour it at home. We tried a sampler and the wings which were all of the apps and most were just ok, but the zucchini was best and the wings were good as well because I like them extra crispy and large. For food I would say it’s just what you would expect for ‘bar food’. I was very impressed with the $ 10 for $ 20 Unilocal deal they had because even though I was with someone, they let us both redeem the deal which came out to $ 20 for $ 40 and we only had to tip after all our drinks and food. Most places will only accept one coupon or deal per table. That and the healthy pours they had for drinks bumped them up from 3 stars to 4 for me, otherwise I would guess that this is your average bar.

We went for happy hour and tried several drinks!;) The service was… OK. I did have to ask for water three times. The cocktails were yummy and they had some pretty good bar food. The fried zucchini was my favorite part. The wings were OK, they were a bit dry but the sauce was nice and spicy. The music was perfect and there was a cool mix of really nice people. I will be back. The place has a nice vibe and the atmosphere was very friendly!

I love it here, one of the best neighborhoods bars for the area. They’re changing around their nightly specials but still worth it, Ladies night is now buy one get two free on well and draft. My friends and I go almost every week and our go-to food is the fried pickles, chips and salsa and green chili fries. Even when they’re busy, service is great and our drinks are kept full. Keep up the good work!

This place reminds me of the girl that gives you a power ballad mix CD when she is well aware of the fact that you like Punk. Do you go out with her again because she’s kind of nice looking, or do you dump her? This place can’t seem to decide what it wants to be. Stag bar with 80’s Cher videos playing, or a delightful mix of Hip Hop and Country… Either way, they keep the volume up and the lights down.

I come here regularly on Saturday for karaōke. Great little place to come have a good beer or two. Decent selection of beers and bartenders are spot on making sure you are taken care of. I can honestly say I have never left disappointed in my visit and always intend on coming back. Patrons of the bar are very friendly as well and I have never seen an issue here. 10⁄10 for small comfy bars in my opinion.

All I can say is. Yuck! There was lipstick on my glass — and besides being dirty — the drinks were below average at best. If these are the best bartenders in town, I might give moving back to California a second thought. Step it up folks — presentation means a lot in any kind of bar or restaurant and you guys totally dropped the ball.

I was invited to go to the Hideaway by a few friends on «Taco Tuesday». I am not a drinker, but thought I would go along and chat with them and grab a bite to eat. Most times you go to a bar and the music or TVs are so loud, you can not hear the person next to you, however, not here. Even while watching the World Series, I could still have a conversation at my table. It was Taco Tuesday, so I ordered the tacos. They are served with corn tortillas. I was disappointed with this since I do not like corn tortillas. I thought I would at least take a bite and then give them over to my friends. Nope. These are really good. Tasty. Great for the money too. The staff are wonderful. The waitress was there at the moments we needed her. She remembered all(5) of our drinks. We met one of the owner’s, Mike. He is a funny guy, was genuinely interested in how we were doing and if we were enjoying ourselves. It doesn’t hurt that he is cute too.

If you’re in the area you have to check this place out. The drinks aren’t water down the food is fresh and tastes great. The owner as well as the bartender were very attentive constantly coming over and making sure that our party had a fantastic evening. They also have a little corner to kick it in with comfy chairs where we were able to sit back and enjoy the night. The have a billiards table, jukebox, Bar seating as well as tables. My cousins and I have found a new haunt to spend our rare getaway evenings from the office and children.

It used to be a different bar. Got bought. Now it’s the Hideaway Lounge. They improved the décor, and improved the food. They kept a few of the bartenders from the old place, and it’s a good thing they did. From getting rid of seating obstructions to adding a pool table, to pulling the menu back from straight up «pub fare» and pushing it into a more upscale bracket without jacking the prices, they’ve done some really good things here. Yeah, it might be tucked into a strip mall, but it’s worth a stop. With plenty of TVs and lots of sports, it’s a good bet for a pint and some munchies.
