Not so awesome! I had a salad here and it was kind of weird. Tons of spinach, barely any dressing and a bazillion olives. Not terrible but totally weird. Server was awesome.

I am a pretty low key individual, and I just want to warn anyone that going to this establishment is just subjecting yourself to the worst kind of drama. The manager of the bar must have the most boring pathetic life, because he strives to create drama with the people that are just trying to spend money, relax, and have a good time. Furthermore, I am disappointed with the management of the Breakers Resort for allowing this bully to stay in business. I will not be resigning my lease due to this type of drama.

I’m a 59 year old professional living at the Breakers Resort and upon first touring the property was impressed to have a restaurant/bar right on the premises. Before you read any further, please note, the Riviera does NOT cater or take care of the residents. I can’t begin to tell you how many times I’ve been over charged for drinks/food. The menu never changes nor do they have specials. While the staff is friendly they rather be having conversations between themselves. Okay, my BIGGEST complaint is the owners of the restaurant will sell out the premises for an outside group to hold a function. This could include blocking 2 of the entrances into the property causing a line to just get through the gate. If you go to the restaurant there will be a line to get into the clubhouse(fitness center etc is in the clubhouse). The restaurant will also NOT take credit cards or run a tab so every order needs to be paid for with cash. None of these activities are announced to the residents. I was excited to see Starbucks counter however the restaurant doesn’t open until 9am so no coffee on the way to work.

Best Café with multiple good views. Hey guys, the food is good and the nature is all organic. It really is a jewel outside of downtown. Great happy hour and good people as you can see with my S4 pics.

BEST outdoor pool and patio deck in Denver! Absolutely loved the atmosphere! It felt like I was on vacation! The reggae music playing made it super comfortable and happy. The staff was welcoming and the surroundings was very relaxing. I wish I was a resident at the community. I’ll definitely be back!

Service sucks! B***h face bartenders that act like its an inconvenience for them to pour you a drink. Food sucks too. Lots of weird regulars. Avoid like the plague.

I am surprised to see the few low ratings here. Yes the service can be slow sometimes but r here to chill and have a good time. I love this place which is very unique for Denver. I feel like I am on vacation every time(where else in Denver U can do drinks at a pool with lake view??).

A hidden gem on the edge of Denver! I love the view and the lake and a pool which is a rare thing to find in Denver! The staff is always friendly and the food is tasty! It’s cool that you have to gain access to the area because of the entrance but once you do it’s worth it! I always have a good time and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quite and exciting place to get away! It’s not always quiet though, their parties are awesome too!

Love coming to the Riviera! Its a chill spot to hang out with friends. Not only is the food delicious but their customer service was great! The wait staff was really friendly and accommodating. They went out of there way to make sure we were taken care of. They also have awesome events going on during the month. Definitely check it out!

Bartender was rude and uninviting. I am a resident and brought a guest, was emberrassed with service. We left and went to Applebees. Our visit was on 8⁄19 @ 6 pm

Worst service ever!!! Bartender was the rudest person I’ve ever come across! How she’s in the service industry with that attitude is beyond me. Place was empty and when I approached the bar she acted as if I was bothering her! Then asked some questions about the place since it was my first time and wow was she annoyed! Never again! Avoid this place at all costs! Horrible service! One star cause the beer was cold!

I just moved to Colorado from Texas about a month ago. I do not have my Colorado id yet and I am 22 but the texas id doesn’t expire until 2017 so I figured its okay to use for the first month I’m in town. I went up to the Riviera at around 1am with some friends. I went up to the bar to get a drink and to ask if they could turn the fire pit on. The bartender then told me they were about to close so there is no point. I calmly replied okay that’s fine can I get a vodka sprite then? He takes my id and looks at it for about 2 minutes then proceeds to show it to the Maneger Neeso. Maneger then tells him no and the bartender tells me to come back when I get a «real id»(I’m 22 years old) then I ask for a sprite. He then tells me he cant serve me at all. Not even a water. I complain to the manager about not being able to get one of these things. He then tells the bartender its okay and the bartender begins to complain to Neeso about serving me a sprite or water. Long story short the bartender begins to pour a water and I politely ask him for a sprite. Begins pouring a sprite then grabs it and throws it on me so as I try to grab the water him and Neeso chase me out telling me to leave as I am walking to towards the gate exit. Neeso the general Maneger called me a cunt 3 times and the bartender threatened to hit me. I live here and this is how I get treated. He does not know how to run a bar/restaurant. Or how to treat customers. I will never return to this place. I sugget you don’t either. If I could choose 0 stars I would.

The staff at the Riviera were very friendly and I loved the view/setting next to the lake. This is a great place for people in the Cherry Creek area or who live in this complex to have a convenient place to eat and have drinks. They have nightly specials too! The prices are great also.

I’d like to give this place 3.6, but I cannot due to scientific reasons. And by scientific I mean Unilocal star system(but is no fault of Unilocal, just a suggestion). I had a sampling of their food this evening. Chicken tenders were great. A tiny bit of spice, nice breaking. The wings I was a fan of the dry rub, but the hot wings I felt were average. Burger is perfect for what it is. I enjoyed the falafel but felt a little meh about the tzaziki(sp?). I was delighted by the addition of pickles in the Greek salad although, based on my knowledge, a little unorthodox(see what I did there?). Definitely order the fries. The staff looked like they truly liked who they work for and were genuinely nice people. Definite potential here.

I had a fabulous night! The service was excellent. I ordered an appetizer and it was perfectly crisp. My Margerita couldn’t have been more well blended and the bartenders were super sexy LOL. Great atmosphere and the vibe was awesome! I will be back again and with a crowd of friends next time. Who knew The Breakers was hiding this little jewel… The Riviera. I don’t even live there but they still allow the public in and that’s pretty cool it’s gives it a VIP feel.

Lack of service! I went there on a Sunday at noon to try and have a late breakfast. I sat myself and after a few minutes I got up to ask for a menu.(I believe it was the owner I asked and I had to inteript him after standing there politely for a minute.) btw-The menu DIDNOTLOOKIMPRESSIVE. He gave me a menu and water and said a waitress would be right with me. He went back to his conversation with his friend. I was there 10 minutes and a waiter/waitress never came in the dining room so I left. I live in the Breakers and would frequent the restaurant often but not now. I was a chef for 15 years and I’ve eaten at over 1000 restaurants in NY and Denver and I never saw such a disinterested owner and staff. As another« Unilocal’er» wrote, obviously the owner has NOT been in the business before and has NOIDEA about customer service. It shows. It will not last long…

This is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a great cocktail and burger/sandwich/crêpe or salad. It’s in an amazing gated community that open to the public with great people. Best views in town with a lake, poolside lounge, hot tub, fire pits, and a fountain right out the doors to the patio. Excellent costumer service!
