Worst customer service EVER! Went to the drive thru. My turn at the speaker, ready to order, waited, and waited, and waited. No one came on the speaker for almost 10 minutes. I was stuck between two cars. I heard some static and thought maybe their ordering system was on the frizz. Kept saying«hello» over and over. Finally a female voice came on. I said I am sorry, I didn’t know if she was trying to communicate with me and could not hear me. She then said, «Oh, I put you on hold.» Then I asked if they still have the special: 9 pieces for $ 10.99. She asked if I wanted it mild or spicy. I told her mild. Then she said she will check on wait time for a new batch. Then she told me my total was $ 11.65. With that, I assumed there was no wait time for mild chicken since she didn’t state otherwise. I said, «no, I want to order some more stuff.» No reply. I kept saying hello over and over again, still no response. I finally decided to just stick with the one order. Waited another 7 minutes to get to the window(other cars still in front of me). When I finally got to the window, Maria H. had two boxes and told me my total is $ 6 plus change. I told her that is not my order. Then she said, «Oh, you must be the one who drove off and you never answer me.» Huh? I was ready to explode, but I bit my tongue. No apologies, no smiles, no NOTHING. While waiting for my order to be put together, I see workers just standing around and talking. She took my card, a few seconds later gave me the card and receipt back, gave me my order, AND did NOT say anything, no «thank you», no «bye», no «have a Happy New Year». No acknowledgment of any sort. NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH, ZIPPO, ZERO. Will definitely drive further to KFC if I have a craving for friend chicken.

Always a wait good is always fresh. Had my order wrong only once out of many times. But they fixed that by giving me some free chicken

I must award them for Most Improved Restaurant! Haven eaten at Popeyes in New Orleans several times I knew they could not possibly live up to that legacy, but simple customer service skills could make up for that. The new management has turned this place around and I am no longer ashamed to say I use to eat there. I now recommend it to anyone that comes to Marietta to visit us if they need a chicken fix. We are still asked to pull up to wait for food sometimes but when we recieve it it is fresh and hot so basically it’s worth the wait. Great job Popeye’s on East-West Conn!!!

This particular Popeye’s is hit or miss. Most of the time they get our order wrong. We no longer visit this restaurant which is a shame since we love Popeye’s chicken and their red beans and rice.

Never come here in a rush. Every time i visit this location they have a line around the building; However, the food is always hot and fresh.

Pat S. is so right! The long wait, the unavailable items, the request to pull up and wait for your order, the teenage inattentive workers… all true. This place frustrates me to no end! I wish I had another Popeyes close but this is it. So, my husband and I have a strategy. We only go when they are busy(with the hope that the food will be fresh and plentiful). We never go close to closing time(it’s likely that there will be nothing left, they will probably close early, or be more focused on cleaning up and shutting down then bringing you your food). We double check our order before pulling away from the window(you can never assume that they have brought you what you ordered or that the food is of edible quality). Most of the time though, we just pass right by them and go to KFC.

I finally gave up on this place. Not all Popeye’s, just THIS location near Cobb’s Wellstar hospital on the East West connector. On several ocassions I tried to drive thru for a quick lunch and they were always out of what I wanted. Fried Chicken! O.K., the breast, but isn’t this what they are supposed to sell? I could understand once, but it happened three times. One time they had me sit in line(the air had just gone on the blink in my car and it was a typical 90 degree GA day) only to tell me after I got to the window that they were sorry, and that I would have to pull up so they could«cook some more.» «How could you be out of chicken when I just ordered it?» I asked? «I guess they ate it all up!» was the reply. I felt like I was in a sitcom and not getting paid! On other occasions they have been out of hot sauce or biscuits or one time they said they did not carry honey, as it was brushed on their biscuits with the butter. A few weeks later, at another Popeye’s that I passed on my way home, I was told they do carry it. Don’t get me wrong. I am not a chicken-holic! I just had a craving one day, and could not get what I wanted. So, it became a relentless quest on my part, as I hoped that one day I would eventually see that they had stepped up to the plate, so to speak. On that third and final day, I had been told to pull up and wait. Remember now, on only one occasion did I actually receive food, again after being told to pull up and wait. This time I decided to go in and complain to the manager or get my money back. Upon entering and waiting at the counter to be heard, I realized the walk-in customers were getting the same treatment, i.e., having to wait and being told they did not have certain items. One of the staff commented to a customer that«the manager must not have ordered for the week.» After watching for a while, I decided to chalk this up to an in-effective manager, as the ‘kids’ responsible for doing the actual work were on their cell phones or kidding around with each other. He was there, but it did not appear he had any control. He was trying, but they had hired the wrong kids! I usually do not call the 800 number on the window for something as trivial as a two-piece lunch special, LOL, but this was beyond belief. I called and spoke with an obviously bored young lady, who was laughing it up with her co-workers. So much for that! She took all of my information except blood type and promised I would hear from someone. No call-back. No apology. Nothing. I guess it starts at the top! So much for my attempt at a ‘wing-fling!’
