A-Aabat Self Storage

I was referred to this storage establishment when the place next door wasn’t able to rent me a unit due to an employee dental emergency. Already nervous about the last establishment, this place was just as sketchy. When discussing availability with an attendant she opened a stained notebook with pieces of paper tattered and torn. There was a hand drawn diagram of the units with pencil and eraser marks wearing the page thin. I asked for a small sized unit and she said, «Yeah, we have some that size, but they leak. It’s too hot right now to get someone in to fix them, so you can have it if you want, but we aren’t responsible for your stuff getting ruined.»
I appreciated the honesty, but it doesn’t make me feel very confident in the storage company if they don’t seriously want to fix the leak. I am sure that not wanting to burden a repairman because the heat is a very kind gesture, but what about appropriately providing safe, dry storage for their customers?
I just wasn’t too sure about this place. The unit was also more expensive than most other places I had seen advertised. So, I thanked her for her time and decided on Burnet Road Storage. I was not disappointed.
