Me: Do you carry Skinny Girl Margarita?
Him: (without hesitation) No.
Me: Oh okay, well do you know who might carry it? I’ve been calling aro–
Him: I don’t know. Call another store.

Of course, the most important thing to locate when you move into a new apartment is the nearest liquor store. There are two that are about equidistant from my place, but this was the one recommended by my neighbors.
I’ve been 3 times now, and while I haven’t scoped out the liquor or wine, the beer selection is decent and the prices on beer are fair and nothing out of the ordinary. Their cigarette prices are great, the only place that has them cheaper is Walgreens, and they’re a few minutes walk further away. Yes, I will pay 30 cents more to avoid walking that 5 extra minutes, especially since Pall Malls are still under $ 5 here.
The extra stars are for the folks who work here. They’re always cheerful and friendly and I have no doubt they’d be helpful if I ever did need to find a decent wine.
