I hate giving a one star review, but sometimes it has to be done. My review of the dental work stands. Dr. Imperial remains a great dentist and he’s someone I’d trust with my health. However, the insurance/billing aspects of his practice are horrendous. I remember thinking that they were a participating provider on my insurance plan. FOUR months after my visit, I get an explanation of benefits from my insurer describing my copay. On the same day, I get a bill from Dr. Imperial’s office. I called to discuss the bill. Elaine told me that they never were a participating provider and explained that the delay in the bill was due to Humana claiming they never received the bill from Dr. Imperial’s office to begin with. Of course, I realize it’s my responsibility to confirm my insurance coverage and I dropped the ball. I’ll be paying an approximately $ 75 bill as a lesson and to maintain my good credit. However, this doesn’t excuse a bill that arrives over 4 months late. In my opinion, Elaine also had business to tell me from the get-go that they are not participating providers on my insurance plan. Time to find another dentist. Again.

I am beyond picky, being very hard to please when it comes to health care professionals and when I give a five star rating it’s truly earned by everyone in the office/practice. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone, even those with«dental phobias.»

My family has used Dr. Imperial now for about 10 years. Very professional, personable and gets you in on time. Pleasant, competent staff. Great family dentist.

Possibly the worst dentistry I have been ever to and here is the story behind it. In august, I went to this place for my deep cleaning(as it has been a while since I got one done). During the initial examination, the doctor mentioned that one of the teeth needed a small filling. So I go there again and get it done. All was fine for a week and I was loading up on ibuprofen as ordered. Then starts horrible pain in my ear and cheek and this kept continuing for couple of weeks and I waited hoping it would go away, which obviously it didn’t and then I went back to the doctor and he said that the bite was off and did some grinding on the teeth. The pain comes back in a week and this whole drama kept happening for almost 2 months. In early November, I get vexed with the unbearable pain and frequent visits I go to another dentist recommended by one of my friends and that dentist checked me immediately and said that i have a bad root canal and this caused by an infection because the filling was done on the nerve.(Crap!!!) She refers to me an endodontist Dr. Ganne who was awesome and preformed the root canal almost painlessly. Long story short, going to Archie Imperial has cost me a lot of money, pain and time. will not recommend this doctor to any one.
