This is one of the most beautiful spaces I have ever seen in a local hotel. I spent an afternoon here, enjoying some cocktails and beer, socializing with my elected officials.
Other than the price of the experience, there really isn’t much I can complain about the Atrium. It is definitely a great place to relax… and 6th street is right outside the door.

The Atrium Lounge is the bar located at the Omni Hotel in downtown Austin. For a hotel bar, this one is nice. Lots of alcohol, seating, and food. Great place to watch a game if you don’t want to bother with the crowds on 6th St., and a nice location if you need to do some work or have a meeting with colleagues. The service here is excellent. Very friendly bartenders who will make you something custom if you ask, and don’t hesitate to keep the drinks coming. Which they did for me. I got so drunk I thought the bar was my bed. Literally. I kept complaining it was too hard and asking for pillows. Finally, after I passed out, the bartender Jennifer was nice enough to carry me back up to my room. Thanks Jennifer!
