I couldn’t have been more thrilled with Victor Elmur of Audio Mobile! Yesterday, I called VIctor to see how to go about getting a new stereo and speakers installed for my children’s car for Christmas (mind you we are now 7 days before Christmas) I figured I’d have to wait till the week after the holidays or something. He told me to bring the car in and he’d take a look to give me the estimate. We drove in from Lago Vista at 3:00pm and he had us out the door by 4:45pm, right there and then! What a wonderful surprise and what a true gentleman Victor was. He didn’t try to «upsell» me or talk me into anything I didn’t need. As a woman, sadly sometimes that is not the case when dealing with cars, but Victor was first class all the way! I highly recommend him to anyone looking for this type of service! He has an outstanding business and he now made a #1 FAN for life! Wonderful price and fantastic quality! Thank you so very much Victor Elmur of Audio Mobile! Our kids who share a car, absolutely LOVE their new stereo and Christmas gift!

I had a great experience here today, Victor is awesome. Someone who is not going to try and rip you off, or sell you stuff you don’t need. And he’s friendly.
I had a sub installed in my vehicle, instillation was fast, and clean. I liked the location he chose for the sub and switch. The sub was an excellent choice.

Victor does quality work at competitive prices. He quoted me two hours for 2 DIN Kenwood head unit and had it done in less than 2 hours. Looks great and fits perfectly in the dash. Took the time to demo the system setup and operation, which was helpful. All in, including his labor, necessary cables and adapters, was $ 300. That won’t be beat by the big box guys.
Nice guy, too. Support the small independents!

Did a great job. Purchased a new stereo with installation which he completed within a couple hours. Also got a LED light system installed which I purchased on Amazon. The wires were nicely concealed and he gave me a great price. Would recommend.

Omg this place does not know how to install. where did you get your training bestbuy? How can my car work great then you install a device that kills my battery and now my altenator. Yellow and green wire hello

I took my car in to get a radio and new speakers installed and Victor did an excellent job, exactly what I wanted plus a speaker phone that I didn’t even expect all for a very reasonable price!
Took truck back a couple of weeks later and had him install a new alarm, again what I wanted at a reasonable price.
I cannot speak highly enough about Victor and his shop!

I took my car in to Audio Mobile to get bluetooth installed. There were some issues with the particular model /​year of my car that created some issues. Victor (the owner) spent HOURS researching and calling manufacturers to figure out the issue. He worked so hard to make it right. Fantastic customer service and he knows his stuff. Highly recommend!

This is the problem with Unilocal… any dumbass like Bill form Kyle Texas can rip a business THAT HE DIDN’T EVEN DO BUSINEES WITH!!! Why cause he didn’t like the price. Bill doesn’t seem understand profit is what keeps Victor in business, not saving guys like bill who buy crapon the ineternet which hurts thge local economy and then wants a «deal» from small locally owned small business’s. I had an issue with my 3 year old system, which was not installed by Audio Mobile, and I took my car to Audio Mobile. I was met by Victor (the owner) who also serviced my car. He was very quick, upfront and honest. He found out that the was a short in the system and fixed it in a short period of time. I’d definitely come to Audio Mobile again if I have issues with my car stereo system. I’d recommend calling in advanced to schedule an appointment as they can get very busy.

I have recently taken my car to Pro Audio for factory speaker upgrade and Victor was very knowledgeable and made the right recommendation for replacing my factory speakers. If great workmanship and attention to detail is on top of your list then this is the place to go for installation and upgrades.

Audio Mobile had gotten good reviews on Unilocal,and I see why. The owner, Victor, is prompt and courteous. He promised to help me as soon as he finished with the customers ahead of me – «Just a few minutes «–and he was true to his word. I have bluetooth in my car, but had gotten a new phone and didn’t know how to synch them. He walked me thru it in 10 seconds, and sent me on my way with a handshake and «Merry Christmas!»

I went in to get a Bluetooth system installed in my car. Victor ordered the parts and installed it in less than two hours. It really doesn’t get any easier than that. He charged me exactly what it took to install, nothing more.
Thank you for your help, Victor! Now I can listen to more than just the radio!

Victor was great. Prices seemed fair and he was up front and honest. He did a great job and spent time afterward giving me tips on my new stereo. Quick and efficient and I was able to avoid best buy.

I just purchased a new 4 door Jeep Wrangler. The factory stereo was terrible and the factory upgrade stereo wasn’t much better and a lot more expensive.
So I purchased equipment online and found Victor to do the installation based on his strong reviews. Head unit, 4 channel amp, 2 pairs of 6.5 and a sub. All high-​end JL Audio equipment and Kenwood touch screen deck.
I could not have been more pleased with the quality of Victor’s work. My install was fairly complex as the Jeep has factory tweeter mounts on the dash which I wanted to keep and just replace the tweeters with component speakers. I wanted everything to look factory, just sound much better.
His install was very clean. We added a back up camera and when you put it in reverse it comes on automatically. The steering wheel controls still work, Victor used 4 gauge wire on the amp install without me even having to request it. All connections were soidered and heat shrunk, dynamat applied, etc. This was a first class install job.
I have used Custom Sounds in the past and they did a good job, but Victor was much less expensive and his install every bit as good.
The Jeep was done on-​time and exceeded my high expectations.
I’m going back to Victor for an alarm and power door locks soon.

I had a similar experience as Bill K. Victor quoted me $ 185 install for a stereo that I bought online. I expected that he was going to be able to hook up my amplifiers and subwoofer, and that was included in the price. When everything was all said and done, he did a regular install that I could have had done at Best Buy for a MUCH cheaper price, and he told me that only one of my amps was good. He said that I would need to run a new wire from the working amp to my stereo, and that would be an extra cost. He did not have an install kit for my pathfinder, but made a «makeshift» kit. It does not fit my dash. So basically the only thing he did was install my double din stereo and sent me on my way… for $ 185! Also, my stereo is an HD stereo, but since he did not properly connect my antenna or did not connect it at all, I cannot get any stations. Yay me! Be careful to not get ripped off by this guy. This kind of service and price tells me that he just wants your money. The end.

Glad I check out Unilocal before going to Custom Sounds or Best Buy. Victor is great! Very knowledgeable and a straight shooter. Guy does all the work himself, and his prices for install work were lower than Best Buy or Custom Sounds. The install (new stereo and all 4 new speakers) is perfect and under budget.

After all the glowing reviews from Victor. I was looking forward to doing business with him. I had purchased a radio online and had the complete install kit for it. I had started to install it myself. I have installed multiple radios in different cars. It was not my first rodeo. I had to fly out to California for the week, but brought my stuff with me in my car so I could stop by Victor’s shop on my way home.
I roll up to his shop and was greeted by Victor and he takes a look at my car. I explain that I have done most of the work. He just needs to run the XM antenna through the channel of the interior trim that is already removed up into the dash. He was also going to have to redo the wiring harness because I had mocked up it temporarily to make sure everything worked first. My factory stereo was already removed. He looks over my car and checks everything out and then tells me he wants to charge me $ 150 to install my stereo. $ 150? Most other install shops charge $ 45 to $ 60 for the stereo install and another $ 20 to $ 25 for the Xm install. I was floored, especially since the work was pretty much done for him. The only thing he needed to do was clean up the wiring harness, stick it int he dash with the XM antenna and boom, done.
This shop was on my list after all the glow reviews. I went home, pulled out my fish tape and installed the radio myself. Perhaps I might have gotten a better deal if I would have bought from him. I am not sure what his thinking was when hey threw out the $ 150 figure. He might have wanted to throw out a high install price so he would not have to mess with it. I love the comment on a previous review, «his labor rate was extremely reasonable». $ 150 extremely reasonable? One of the big box store’s was going to charge me $ 65 to install everything. How is that reasonable? Thanks but I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Great price, replaced a defective factory stereo in no time. Highly recommend.

I recently purchased an older VW that had once been the car of my dreams. It’s beautiful and perfect, but the cassette/​FM/​AM left something to be desired in this new age of Jetsons-​like technology.
Vic helped me to choose a new stereo and I love the one that we chose. I ordered a minimalist Blaupunkt Helsinki that syncs with my iPhone via Bluetooth. Vic ordered the unit and it was in the shop the next day. When I went to pick up my car (an hour earlier than he’d quoted) it was also somewhat cheaper than the price he had quoted, as there was a part that ended up not being necessary.
Excellent service. I’ll be coming back to Vic for speaker and subwoofer upgrades.

I like old cars. I’ve owned many in my years, and now, I like old Mercedes. I have two, and they are bitches & perfection at the same time. You have to baby an old car, and they can be hell to repair anything on it.
That said, I’d had enough with the cassette tape deck in one of my cars. I own one cassette tape, and I really «had it up to here» with old jazz. So, I bought OCar (
). It arrived, and a little google work led me to Audio Mobile.
I took the stereo and car in this morning, and an hour and a half later, Victor said it was a much bigger job than first thought. Like a «day job,» not a couple hours, and that Mercedes can be a mess to work on. I went home, dejected and sad, but called him back. He said to bring it in again, and he will get it done.
Several hours later, I get the phone call. OCar is in! And it works! I go pick up my car, snap in my phone to OCar, and drive off like a champ. No more 80s jazz for me!
I really appreciated Victor’s honesty and patience, but even more, his willingness to get this job done. It’s not easy putting new technology into a car that’s almost thirty years old. But Audio Mobile did it, and it’s perfect.
All that’s left to do, is buy another OCar and head back to Audio Mobile!
