Can’t expect much when it comes to phone repair stores now a days. In my experience, most of the employees working at these type of establishments make it seem like they don’t want you there, prices to high, etc. But that’s not the case with AUS TEX Wireless. From the moment I walked in the store I was greeted and assisted. The employees here are extremely respectful, which DOES matter, fast quality service and definitely a good selection of phones and accessories. If you live in north Austin, South Austin, Central Austin, San Marcos and hell, even Houston. I would most definitely come here. Best phone shop I’ve ever been to. And that’s a lot of phone shops!!!

I rarely give a place 5 stars but the staff and service was absolutely phenomenal. They gave me a time frame and were able to deliver at a reasonable price. The owner is absolutely wonderful and has a kick ass parrot for your listening pleasure. No matter what kind of repair you may need, large or small, this should be your first and only spot to check out!

Really great service. They revived and repaired my phone after it was completely trampled to death. They also found that my battery was exploding, and fixed that too, all for a really reasonable price. Highly recommend!

These guys replaced my screen on my phone they also notice the charging port was broken they repaired both items within 2 hours…

The best wireless repair shop in town, hands down. It is very rare to find such friendly tenacious customer service in this time and age. My HTC One got some water damage and turned into a brick. I called around a few places and no one wanted to touch an HTC as they are very hard to repair. Greg agreed to take a look. However it was almost impossible to open it up, and after a lot of effort they did. It would still not work, but the data was important to me. Greg and team went beyond the call of duty to practically change everything on the phone… and it finally worked! It is a completely functional refurb phone now! Can’t thank them enough for their persistence with such a hard problem at hand.

time after time, over the years, they have always gone the extra mile for me and others. their knowledge and customer satisfaction is above anyone else in this industry or any other that i have dealt with. i seek them out for my needs and advice for communication investment or systems that i may consider using.

Went to us Austex because they were recommended by AT&T since I had dead spots on my lg g2 screen. Not only did they fix it and give me a great rate for fixing it by using the screen from another similar phone that had a burned-​out motherboard, but they stayed after hours almost an hour to get the job done for me. Highest rating, super friendly guys awesome Service, and just a great experience. it saved me a bucket full of money. I think this is probably the only good experience I’ve ever had at any phone store. Awesome place.!!

After waking up from a nice nap, I reached over to the side table to turn my phone alarm off. Then it smashed on the floor. I pick it up slowly… please god please no cracks… and the whole thing was SHATTERED. UGH! There’s nothing worse… especially when you don’t have insurance.
I take it in Austex the next day. They say 30 or so minutes for the repair, so I decide to get my nails done then come back. With my super fresh amazing nails I walk in and it’s BEAUTIFUL! So pretty and it somehow looked ten times better than before the screen cracked.
I get home to take a selfie with my cat (as all crazies like me do), when I flip to the front facing camera nothing showed up. Ruh roh. I turn it off to restart it but when it was booting back up some white text popped up like old school black and white computers. I immediately drove over to the place and they were closed. The nice tech explained he didn’t have the time to use the software he needed but I could try it at home and if it didn’t I could come back tomorrow.
It didn’t work. Couldn’t update it, couldn’t restore it.
I came back the next day and they fixed it in under an hour! The tech let me watch too. It was a fun way to spent my Saturday afternoon. Turns out the heating element (which really isn’t the name, it was too computer-​y for me to understand) was damaged and he replaced it with a new one. It was something they had rarely seen. So another ten bucks later (wamp, wamp) it was as good as new!
I was skeptical that it went kaput after I took it there but I now realize it was just a coincidence from probably too much face-​timing. Good prices, sweet staff and quick service. Not too shab. Thanks guys!

Writing from their waiting room, where I’ve been for 105 minutes and counting (even though the phone was supposed to be ready when I got here).
Two EXTREMELY noisy birds made the wait as unpleasant as possible, though the general atmosphere (reminiscent of the DMV or perhaps an emergency room a couple hours after the bars close) wasn’t all that pleasant to begin with.
Why are these phone places always so shady?

I highly suggest this place.
My galaxy note 3 screen was cracked but they replaced my screen really well.

Had a cracked screen in my iPhone and my search led me to Aus-​TEX PCS Wireless. They were near my home and had the best prices listed on their site. They were quick, staff was nice and the price was great! 25 minutes later I was good to go! Will be back soon… my battery is slowing down.

Nothing but praise for these guys. They’ve worked on my phone over the years, replaced a cracked screen and swapped out a faceplate which had issues with it’s buttons. price is also very reasonable.

After shattering the screen on my 5c, I called around for a couple quotes. These guys were reasonably priced so I took my phone in. An hour later it was good to go! Unfortunately, a friend dropped my phone a couple days later and destroyed the LCD and glass screen. I took at in thinking it was beyond repair. Luckily, the owner said he would replace it again. He felt bad so he did the work for cost!
I am only putting four stars because I wouldn’t say it was as good as new, but it’s pretty close.

very professional technically. I brought in my galaxy S4 in, thought all I need was just a replacement of screen. But it turned out the motherboard has some problem. So they replaced me with a like-​new motherboard with very reasonable price. The diagnosis, dissemble, re-​assemble takes only more than half an hour. Very fast!
The parrots and puppy dogs in store are cute!

Again, these guys are just the best in customer service… took my rooted smartphone that had gone all goofy after some unwanted update messed everything up and they got me back to operational in a relative short time and a very fair price… I’ve done business with them for over 10 years when they used to have a south location as well… super friendly and super knowledgeable… why would you go anywhere else…

I had my iPhone 5 screen replaced here today… Turned out the digitizer was broken not just the glass (I stepped on it). I asked about the $ 100 special on their website for glass repair and they honored it anyway, full face replacement is typically $ 140. As if this wasn’t good enough, I was in and out within 10 minutes. Phone is working great, just like new! I would prefer not to crack my screen again and hope I don’t need their services, however, if I do, I will definitely return! Best price I could find in Austin from a legit business with fast quality service… Couldn’t ask for much more. I highly recommend!

Horrible. I have never written a negative review and hope this is the last. My experience is only one star because of the girls at the counter are superior and their co-​hort tech is unprofessional and lazy.

I came in with my IPhone 4S dropped it on my bike going 75Mph and they were about to make it look like new from a completely destroyed phone. Back plate was gone battery was gone when I got back to the phone. And the front was shattered.
And. Now it looks like new. The repair was cheep to and fast. You have to use this place!

The Mister is pretty picky about what type of holder he uses for his cell phone and likes the one he found here. Not sure why my husband insist on using these because they just aren’t secure. His cell has slipped out in the car, at a bar, during the war, while stuck in tar and traveling far.
But our son has been the main reason we have used Aus Tex PCS. He has dropped his cell in a swimming pool where it lay until a friend found it. Another time it slipped into the shower. (How does that happen?) Each time, the repair guys had the phone up and running within a day.
Recently, the kid left his charger in his friends’ dorm room at Texas State and it was never seen again. After watching him mope for days, as though his right arm had been shot off, we purchased a charger for $ 10 less than the original with the stipulation that he pay us back.
Cell phone life lessons are never easy.
