Can’t say enough about the wonderful experiences we have at Austin Ashiatsu. Cathy and Andrea are so skilled, intuitive, attentive and caring. It’s amazing that a massage with them feels like a bonding experience. Having had many massages from people with varying degrees of proficiency, we can say whole-​heartedly that this is the best massage experience ever! Can’t wait for our next visit!

I was visiting from Washington DC and used Unilocal for a much needed massage. I was having terrible issues with a pinched nerve and knots in my upper neck and bad. It’s been 24 hours later and I still feel wonderful — probably even better today than I did yesterday.
Made the appointment about 12 hours prior for the following morning. Their online system and customer service was easily navigated. Additionally, I was able to use my HSA due to doctors prescription for pinched nerve. Doing so made the experience 35% cheaper!
From downtown Austin, it was $ 6 each way via Lyft. Pricing for 90 minutes for one of the best massages that I have received to date is very fair in my opinion. Sarah was accommodating, checked-​in and the experience was very peaceful for a deep tissue massage.

I woke up two weekends ago with a 9.5 in back/​sciatic pain which had progressed to this point throughout the week. I made a 90 minute appointment with Mandy, and I’m very glad I did. With a brief explanation of where my pain resided, Mandy went to work. The 90 minutes flew by, and I came out a different person. Best massage I’ve had, and looking forward to another one tomorrow!

I LOVE/​need DEEP Tissue work… I am an LMT myself and find it not so easy to find someone to do consistent deep work, while also being relaxing (long gliding strokes). Well, here it is, and Mandy knocked it out of the park for me! I’m in, this is now my preferred modality! Thanks Mandy

I’ve never been into massages, but my wife wanted a couples massage for Xmas and so I gave in and booked us an appointment at Ashiatsu. Neither of us had been here before and I have to say, I’m never going anywhere else! It was just amazing and now I’m addicted! Both my wife and I were so happy with the service and the results. Really, really, really great! Cathy and Mandy, you two are amazing as is all the staff here. Truly an oasis. Thank you for being so good at what you do and creating a wonderful environment for your clients. We will be coming back at least once a month. Not only does it feel amazing, but we work out a lot and the more healthy and happy we can make our bodies the better– the Ashiatsu treatment is key to feeling great! And Austin Ashiatsu is the place to go!

Just left here and it was awesome. In town for work and needed a massage badly. Didn’t know what to expect but Mandy explained What it would feel like and it is very similiar to regular deep tissue but it is deeper and I couldn’t tell that she was using her feet. It was great.
I will definitely be back.

This massage technique is beyond amazing… life changing! I can never go back to traditional deep tissue massage again. The staff is kind and knowledgable. I’m on vacation and decided to try it out based on the stellar reviews and I was NOT disappointed! I am terming one more time before I leave to go home– it was just that good!
PS I did the massage with cupping and found it very beneficial. I am combo with massage and chakra balancing today. So excited!

Cindy gives amazing deep tissue massages. The feet really give you a wider surface area for massage and apply deeper pressure than the hands could. She’s great at what she does. I always feel like she gets all the kinks out of my back.

The treatment I got from Cathy was superb. I asked for maximum pressure and was not disappointed. It was a bit share at times, but I could feel the knots in my neck and shoulders being unwound. I will definitely go back!

This massage was definitely the best massage I’ve ever gotten. And I’ve gotten lots. I get massages twice a month and have been for the last 10 years or so. I have lots of issues from sitting all day/​stress/​running you name it. Low back/​legs/​neck pain/​tension headaches. Mandy touched all of my problem areas and focused so much on what hurt the most (it’s like she just knew!). She was able to massage my outer leg area which I NEVER let anyone touch because of the pain. I was sore the next day but still in awe that she actually was able to work on that part of my legs! I will definitely be back. I immediately felt relief and my body felt different walking out of there. My neck/​shoulders were actually relaxed and not up by my ears. Thank you so much Mandy!

For the past 10 years I have suffered from upper back and neck problems. The cause of these problems have been a combination of multiple car accidents and stress. Over the past 10 years I have been to a variety of doctors, therapist, acupuncturist, and physical therapist. All of these have helped, but never completely gotten rid of the problem.
First of all she is a great Ashiatsu therapist. It hurts, but she has broken up a lot of the scar tissue in my back and neck.
My favorite thing about Cathy is every time I go in there she says something life altering. She radiates love and acceptance. And she has challenged me to let go of so much baggage to become a more whole less painful person. I honestly haven’t felt so much peace in years. And my back/​neck is 90% better. I would recommenced her to anyone. She has honestly changed my life

This was my first Ashiatsu massage, but not my last! I was very impressed by Mandy. I left with my low back and hip pain being relieved and feeling lighter in my body and mood. The massage was deep and smooth and in a nice space. I kept wondering «how is she doing that?» Worth every dollar! Believe the reviews!

I LOVE Austin Ashiatsu! Not only the best massages I’ve ever received, but also just right for what I need at the time (more pressure, less pressure, deep neck work, etc). I say this because I’ve had ashiatsu from practitioners who didn’t adjust to my body’s needs and I just got super deep pressure and super squished (not helpful or enjoyable). Mandy and Andrea are amazing. Their ability to find the sore spots and problem areas amazes me! I’ve had many types of massage (sports massage, deep tissue, lymphatic, myofascial release, and Thai), and ashiatsu is absolutely my favorite as well as the most effect for me. I treated my brother to a message here, and he said it was by far the best massage he’s ever had. You won’t be disappointed!

I truly enjoyed my experience. I had the Ashiatsu massage, acupuncture and chakra balancing combo. Cathy is such a sweet and caring soul. Very knowledgable as well. She took her time to get to know me and explain everything in detail. It is visible she loves that she does. Receptionist is wonderful and very welcoming.
I choose to visit here because I wanted more than just a «service». A more in depth, meaningful experience… Highly recommend.

Mandy was amazing! I am a massage therapist as well, my body is finally starting to get aches and pains from my career. She was able to relieve my pain in my shoulders, neck, and arms 100%. I had never tried ashiatsu before, and was a little apprehensive about the use of feet, but oh my was it exactly what I needed! They felt like smooth hands with extremely therapeutic pressure! I felt so good the next day with a significant increase of energy and a smile on my face all day. Bonus: She is a lovely kind spirit! Thank you, thank you, thank you Mandy!!! :)
