Auto Stop Used Tires

I came here for a used tire for a project for a play place for my kid and they dropped the price from just $ 5 to free because it was for a kid. And it looked like a decent tire. They were really nice about and even put it in my car for me. Wow. I gave the guy $ 5 just for being so nice and all… it was worth something in my mind. Just really great honest guys working there. Highly recommend them.

Crooks. Sold me a tire knowing it was the wrong size and convinced me it would be fine. The tire then came off the rim and they refuse to help me with a tow truck to get it over they when they’re the ones who messed up. Will not refer to anyone else.

If you ever need used tires must hit these guys up. They put on some tires that seem to be OK and as I was driving off two of them blue. The guy went out of his way to come and find me and replace all four tires top-​notch employees best place for used tires

I would give these guys 10 stars if I could. I had a nail sticking out of the side wall of my tire and discount tire told me they couldn’t patch it and i needed a new tire, they didn’t even try to patch it. Looked up the Unilocal reviews of this place and decided to give it a try. Showed up and the guys were so nice, they said they could patch it– 10 minutes and 15 $ later I was good to go. They don’t take advantage of us ladies like the other places. Highly recommended!

I recently moved to Austin with my Van all the way from Connecticut, on the highway i rolled over a screw and punctured my rear tire… yesterday it got really bad and my tire would not hold the air… it was time to fix it…
I was on SOCO in my car 3 dogs… it was hot and these guys rolled me right in and changed both rear tires (225/​60R17) for $ 84 in 9 minutes… checked all tires and asked if i need water for my dogs… WOOOF love them…

They were really nice, really cheap, and really fast. I will definitely go back next time I need a tire. Highly recommend.

These guys are great! Incredibly friendly, quick, and honest. Had a huge nail hole, but they said it was in the middle of the tire and totally fixable. Didn’t even try to sell me an unneeded tire. So glad we have great local businesses like in east Austin.
I’ll absolutely be returning with my business.

Pulled up with a tire off of my other car in the hatch of my car and within seconds a guy was pulling it out and rolling it to the back to patch a hole caused by a screw. I was in and out in under 10 minutes for a grand total of $ 7.58 (plus a few bucks for tip for the guy that refused to even let me lift the tire back into my car once it was repaired and aired.

This was my first experience with Auto Stop and I became a lifetime customer.
I came to Austin few day ago for job interviews and yesterday i had a problem with the car tire, it had a bolt in it.
I asked a couple of guys and they told me that the tire could not be repaired and it’s finished. I searched on the net for tire shops and came up with this one and the reviews looked good, so I went there and met Mr. Kenith and he told me that he has to check the tire first and while he was checking I was stressed and after 5 minutes he told me that he will fix it for $ 20 and I was relaxed and happy that I made a good decision.
While he was fixing the tire, the owner’s wife came with her cute little baby girl to get her car tires pressure checked and greeted me nicely and when I was leaving they both wished me good luck for my job search.

I came into Auto Stop because my tire was leaking. The guy could have sold me a brand new tire (what do I know about tires?), but instead he offered to fix the leak. This ended up saving me $ 30! My total was only $ 10. I am so grateful for trustworthy and honest places like this.

So this review is long overdue.
Fate has a way of making life… «interesting.» I had JUST paid off my car and was on my way to see «The Day of the Doctor» on a cold Austin evening.
«Well, wait a second…» says Fate, «That’s too much good stuff happening in a row.»
So there was this invisible yellow waist high pole that one of the buses knocked over on a turnabout by my office (F U Capital Metro!) and blamo! Blown tire and (I didn’t know it at the time) bent tie rod.
Long story short, a few days later I slowly rolled my car to Auto Stop Used Tired and they had a tire for me that was both cheap and in really good condition for a used tired. They also offered to fill up the air in my other tires! Oh, and they were super quick. There was someone else ahead of me and I didn’t have time to think, «Are they done yet?»
So, if you need a tired and you’re tight on the dollars, give ‘em a call! I had a very good experience.

So fast. So cheap. These guys are the bomb. I replaced a tire that was on its last leg for $ 25. It took 15 minutes and the guys wee super nice, helpful, and honest. This is your go to. Do not go to a corporate chain. This should your first and last stop for tires!

I needed some new tires and was aghast at the price of Discount Tire. I tried Birds first, and they did not have the right size. They directed me to Auto Stop (or U Auto Stop, like You Oughta Stop, get it?) and these guys were great. They had tires that fit and put them on in a jiffy. No waiting, no crap. I will definitely go back.

First stop on my search for a used tire. The guys waved me in, took the flat off and checked it for leaks. They didn’t have the right size tire but directed me to Birds. No charge. They stopped traffic to direct me into the street. I’d go back.

Not sure why I have been cursed with flat tires, maybe it’s my bad car karma at it again, but Auto Stop has been there for me… three times for three different tires! I don’t speak Spanish, just a little spanglish here and there which makes it challenging to go to the little independent shops here on the east side and I’m not willing to pay $ 30 to fix a flat at the fancy English speaking places. Lucky for me one of the guys who seems to be the boss man speaks English at Auto Stop. $ 10 to fix my flat AND they are super fast, especially if no one else is waiting. There are always a few extra guys around visiting along with a couple token dirty tire shop cats, which gives it a hang out kinda feel which I find endearing. My one complaint… they don’t fix flats on motorcycles. Too bad for me!
