Babylon Hookah Lounge

This place is great to come in and hangout/​study with friends. The hookah is always smooth and the workers always make sure you are doing okay. From what I understood, this place is now under new management; given that, there are a couple of kinks (food and drink options would nice) that need some attention. Otherwise I think this place is going to cater well to the UT kids looking for shisha.

I’m reviewing the atmosphere alone. I wish I could also rate the hookah but we didn’t get to try any.
Basically, we wander in there a little before midnight. It was about 11:45. Cool.
We wait for about five minutes to even get help, then when I ask if they take credit cards they looked at me like I was crazy. It wasn’t a weird thing to ask, since many other hookah places are cash only. But whatever. We got helped by a different person, who was able to answer our questions.
We waited twenty more minutes after ordering, then left. We didn’t feel comfortable, but we had to be somewhere and did not anticipate getting our hookah set up any time soon.
I mean seriously, how long does it take to set up a single bowl of shisha and open three cans of coke? It’s not like they’re cooking food or anything. I dunno. Maybe I’m an impatient millennial. But twenty minutes is too long to wait especially since we were the only ones being helped at that point.
The place seemed cool, though. Comfy benches. Chill vibes. But I wanted service to be faster, or at least apparent.
