Absolutely, love this place! Everyone is so helpful and friendly. The workouts are perfect, they push you very hard but not to hard. The space is warehouse like with lots of space. It is also boutique like with a lot of beautiful clothes and knickknacks. Also, I don’t have children but a section where it looks like the little ones are have a great time. You have to try this place out, they are having a groupon special which is going fast. I know that I will be going forever!

My Barre3 obsession began a little over a month ago when I moved to Austin and realized I needed to get back in shape pronto. You see, my little brother is getting married in May and I am in the wedding party. A wedding, in general, is great motivation to get in shape but when said little brother 1) owns a fitness studio in Manhattan is 2) marrying a former-dancer-turned-personal-trainer and 3) you realize the wedding party is also all former-dancers-turned-trainers and you’re the only one rocking the mom-body, you know you need to get it together ASAP. Enter: Barre3. To put it simply, I have never been more obsessed with anything. I grew up playing sports, and lifting with a trainer, but I never really enjoyed anything as much as I do Barre3. I’m already starting to notice a change in my body: my squatty legs look and feel longer, my mom butt is a little higher, and my core is beginning to pull in and look like it did pre {10 pound} baby. The people attending class are also all great. I think«boutique» fitness classes can sometimes feel pretentious but all of the women(and some men, too!) are all very nice and non-judgmental — which is key when you’re rolling around on the ground, crotch in the air, doing your best«happy baby». Instructor-wise, they are at the top of their game, too(+ funny, down-to-earth, and have great butts that remind you«Oh, this is why you’re killing yourself in horse pose right now!»). I’ve taken at least one class with each and they are all seriously great. Needless to say, I always leave feeling like I’ve challenged myself and wanting more. If you have kiddos, childcare is also offered. I have yet to bring my daughter because she always has some sort of daycare-bred-Ebola-knockoff but I would not hesitate to do so if/when she ever gets better. And, lastly, if you like to shop… you can do that here, too. They have a ton of cute Barre3 merchandise tempting you as you enter! Bottom line: If you want an awesome workout, this is the place to go. Nothing has ever kicked my butt so hard in my life.

I took the 8:30 am Barre class with Layne Bruner and I have to say that she’s the best Barre instructor I’ve ever had! No joke… she needs to be BARREINSTRUCTOROFTHECENTURY. I’ve taken Barre all over Austin and no one has been as attentive as her. There were about 15 of us in class and I felt like the only one b/c of the personalized attention she gave to each of us. She taught with enthuisiam and passion. It was refreshing to see. She gave detailed and clear instruction on each move. It allowed me to deepen and strengthen my practice. I burned 600 calories in 60 minutes. I also appreciated all these modifications she gave and taught for each pose. It especially helped with my left knee since I’ve had a precious injury. Now for the rest of the studio… The front desk girl is extremely friendly. She’s very personable and makes you feel welcomed. That’s important b/c I was on a class pass and I didn’t feel like I was less equal than their full paying members. The studio is crazy cute and had tons of parking. All the ladies have been fantastic so far. Not too pretentious! They also offer child care, which is cool. I don’t have a little one, but I do love seeing them running around and all the mommies coming in with their babies. They have a huge class selection as well. Besides the studio, I just can’t get over how awesome Layne was. She should teach teachers how to teach. Try her and see for yourself. xoxo — AM

I absolutely love Barre3. Can’t say enough about how great the workout is. The studio is nice, and I love how close it is to my house. I highly recommend it!

Austin is so fortunate to have three Barre3 studios in town. The Circle C location opened earlier in the year and boasts a larger studio with more barre space. Like the downtown location, it’s open, fresh, and clean with an airy feel from the large windows. Barre3 is truly a great concept as it combines strength training, light cardio, and stretching into an ab burning, muscle building, challenging class! There are always options to tailor to your own level and all the instructors encourage you to «honor your body». That being said, they totally motivate you to push your limits and get the most out of the course. I’ve been to classes taught by Aurora and Laine and both were fantastic! You will leave feeling energized, empowered, and healthy– you can’t top that!

Best workout ever!!! The hour-long class just flies by. Each class is different so it never gets boring. The instructors are very upbeat and knowledgable. They offer different«levels» during class so you can work out at your comfort level. The owners are fantastic – you can tell they really care about their clients. The class space is airy, beautiful and inspiring. They even have a play lounge for children. I just love this place!!!
