I don’t usually enjoy mailing something. But I do when I come here and I see Greg. He remembers me, asks who this package may be going to and understands — with no judgement — my laziness to actually package anything.
We have several options to mail down here in SW ATX. For me, there’s only one — this one!

Been a customer here for two years. Can attest that the claim «Customer service practiced here» (which is etched on the front door) is absolutely true. Greg is the real deal.
As the sole proprietor of a consulting practice, who spends most of my time on a plane, having my mailbox here has been a time and money-​saving convenience. Not to mention the peace of mind that comes with never having to worry about being home for a FEDEX delivery.
Greg and team have also moved me twice (taking exceptional care at crating and shipping) — again, the experience was effortless. He sweats the details so I don’t have to. Everything arrived on time and in perfect condition.
Finally, picking up mail is just fun. Greg’s personality is infectious. Knows everybody by name. Meets you at the door. Heck, meets you at your car half the time with your mail in hand.
Austin Mail Express is the way every service business in this town should be run.

Took several packages in on Monday, 12÷21÷15 and was immediately greeted like I just became part of a family. Friendly, efficient, database of «ship to’s» in their computer so all I had to do was give family member names. It was idiot proof which is saying something on my behalf!
There were several «regulars» there all on first names basis with the owner. What a nice experience. And for literally the dozens and dozens of people lined up in the parking lot as I drove by the post office, cough up a little more money for a quick and pleasant shipping experience. Your time actually is valuable!

Greg is super helpful even with my somewhat dumb questions. He really offers amazing customer service and is fast and friendly. My husband ships stuff for business all the time and will only go here from now on. LOVE the convenient location. I can park right in front and hop in and out very quickly. You won’t be disappointed with Austin Mail Express.

I refuse to go anywhere else for all of my shipping and other office needs. I have been doing business with Greg for almost 2 years now and it is always a pleasure. From printing, faxing or shipping needs, Greg always worked extremely fast and efficiently each time I stepped foot into his store. I always left the shop feeling relieved, happy and lucky that I had Greg’s help. Greg’s unwavering and stellar customer service, attention to detail and expertise are always top notch. He goes above and beyond without fail and always with a smile. This place is unique and a real gem. We are lucky to have this store in our neighborhood. I highly recommend this place.

This place is fabulous. Although I rarely spend anything there (I do all my packing and printing of labels in my office), dropping off FedEx, UPS or PO materials here is always a pleasure.
With shipping packages having as much competition as there is today, it’s nice to be able to learn the options.

If I could give 6 stars, that wouldn’t be enough. My experience today was fantastic. I walked in with a huge stack of packages to ship, both domestically and internationally, and he dropped everything and spent nearly an hour helping me get all the right postage. He was creative in shipping methods for each one, figuring out the cheapest way to send it, AND he gave me a bulk rate (lower than normal retail) that ended up saving me several hundred dollars, which was nearly 30% saved. While processing my long, complicated order (international shipping is insane), he also juggled half a dozen other customers that came in, and did it all with a smile and a wry sense of humor. I was caught off guard by just how great this experience was. I can’t imagine myself ever shipping from any place else, ever. Seriously. Couldn’t give enough praise!

I live in Florida but needed an antique lamp in Austin shipped to me. I was lucky enough to find Austin Express Mail and they managed the job with the highest quality of packing and shipping I could imagine. Greg was totally amazing to work with and was very professional. This lamp was irreplaceable in my opinion and now I have it safely at home. Greg has the best customer service, and that’s hard to come by nowadays. I drop off my client tax work and he takes care of everything. No more standing in long lines to get returns out. I won’t go anywhere else and I tell all of my local clients to go see him!

Went in to return a prepaid package using USPS and mail a package. Greg explained the shipping methods, times, and costs. He wasn’t trying to up sell me and helped me by getting me the best value. I was really surprised that I was able to leave paying what I thought I would pay at the post office. Greg was awesome to me and my daughter while we were there. Offered excellent customer service, just like the sign on the door says.
Without a doubt we will be going back for everything we will need. He has a great shipping system that lets you come in and he’s able to print labels for you and provide you with all of the tracking info you can need.

Highly satisfied with the service and personality of this business owner, Greg Weithoner (pronounced ‘With Honor’). He’s old enough to remember what ‘customer service’ actually means and still young enough to prove it. Case in point, in the short time I was in there to get a PO box, he welcomed and took care of 3 different customers without them having to even step foot inside his store. He was talking me through the PO box rental process up front and recognized his customers getting out of their respective cars, greeted them while holding the door open for them, and even caught a parcel tossed his way from an attractive young lady who barely got out of her car near the entrance. Genuine, sharp, alert, and helpful… all good qualities to have, especially in a service-​oriented business like this. This is one business I will gladly praise and continue to support. I’ve been going to Austin Mail Express for about a year now.
Usually, it’s to return packages or send off pre-​boxed things. Regardless of what I’m sending, I’m always greeted with a pleasant hello and given the best service. I can’t believe that I didn’t start going to this place sooner, especially given how close it is to my house.
If you’re near Mopac and Slaughter, take your business to Austin Mail Express. Their prices are great and they really care for their customers.

I just went to Austin Mail Express to send some certified mail, and I left inspired to start reviewing businesses on Unilocal.Yes, I received such great, friendly service while performing the exciting task of sending certified mail that the first thing I did once I got back to a computer was to write this review.
Within 10 seconds of walking in, I was cheerfully greeted and provided with all of the necessary supplies and instructions for completing my transaction. I walked out with a smile on my face. After paying my taxes. Places like this deserve our business.

If you’re a South Austin small business owner or what ever it is you do that requires a mail box, shipping etc. This is your place I can’t say enough good things about Greg and his place. It’s like being in Cheers where Greg knows your name but mailbox is the game.
