Susan is a miracle worker when it comes to re-upholstery. After working with another shop in town to mediocre ends, I decided to give Susan a try. I selected fabric to redo some dining rooms chairs(her selection isn’t large so you might wish to find fabric elsewhere) and then Susan and I did some hands-on brainstorming to come up with the«right» replacement cushion material. She also experimented with a subset of materials to get it right. We are very happy with the finished product. A word of caution in general: Re-upholstery is not for the fainthearted. It is more art than science and you probably will not end up with exactly what you started with. It also isn’t cheap. She’s very upfront about helping you evaluate whether it is «worth It» to re-upholster.
